Unfortunately, this story wasn't for me. I read 10% of it and then decided to quit because I wasn't invested in the characters' stories.
Honestly, this book was a difficult one to get through. Something about the writing style or the fact that we were given so much backstory, just made it slow to get into.
I liked the premise but it just felt like it was repeating itself rather than moving with the plot.
This book had an interesting premise, but I wasn't able to get into the plot or engaged with the characters themselves or the evolution of their relationship.
This wasn’t 100% for me but I’m sure for some one else! It was super steamy/eroticia! I was grateful to be given a copy though!
Thank you Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books for sending me the E-arc of Escorted by Renee Roman in exchange for an honest review.
It is SO refreshing to see a Female/Female relationship featured in a BDSM erotica..
Escorted is Spicy, Sexy, & Fun, So basically everything you would want in a romance/erotica novel.
I love how the plot of the book didn’t get lost among the *spicy* scenes (which there were many of ;) ).
My favorite this about this book is that it showed the before, during, and aftermath of a BDSM session and made it clear that each stage was important for both parties well being.
I personally wished the ending was drawn out a little more, but reviewing this as an erotica romance rather than my own personal opinion I give this book 5 stars.
Super HOT! From beginning to end. One of the books you can sit and read. I didn’t want to put it down. I wish we had more books like this.
Dani Brown was raised in a strictly religious household and has never explored anything outside of the heterosexual narrative. Lately, though, she’s been having fantasties. About women. When her friend advises her to not just go out to bars to explore these fantasies and a client of hers mentions The Agency, an exclusive ladies’ escort agency that rocked her world, Dani is intrigued. The CEO of The Agency, Ryan Lewis, hasn’t taken any clients in over a year, but she’s immediately taken with Dani and wants to make her fantasies come true. When she starts having unprofessional feelings, will she be able to keep things professional?
This was a fun romp of sex scenes tied together with moments of plot. Dani wants to explore her sexuality with many women, so it’s not just a story of Dani and Ryan. Dani explores and Ryan has a myriad of women for her bed whenever and wherever she wants. It’s a journey of sexual exploration for Dani and romantic exploration for Ryan, and if they can meet in the middle of their desires, perhaps they can build something of a relationship.
It was fun. I did skim over some of the hot and heavy scenes, as there were so many of them, but if that’s your jam, this is your book! It’s hot. There’s some genuine emotion hidden in there, too. It’s out now wherever you get your books.
This is my first FF erotica. I honestly loved this story. It was a very open exploration of FF love and erotic love on top of that. It starts out sizzling and finishes stronger than I thought it would.
This book was ok. I have issues with some aspects of it and the execution of some things. Therefore I can not go higher in my rating
This book was given to me by netgalley. My review is 100% honest and my own opinion.
LGBTQIA+ romance (FF)
Bdsm, kink
I really enjoyed how the author shows sex workers are not the stereotypical "prostitute" that it is about helping people find and achieve sexual desire.
I also like how the environment that she wrote in allowed the main character to come out into her own strong woman and be able to show what she wanted in a relationship especially regarding the bdsm role. Whether it were hetero or same sex coupling it gives a safe place for the members of the kink community to be able to practice and discover their desire.
I loved that the author was able to show the before, during and after care for both the sub and Dom roles
Kept me wanting to read more and more!!
Will be recommending it!!
This one started off super steamy - if you enjoy the topics of sexual exploration among women, this is a great erotica read. However, I felt some aspects were not really as well fleshed out as they could be. Main characters were good, secondary characters were pretty much “typicalized”
A sexy, enjoyable read about an escort and Dani, a client. I enjoyed the sex scenes, I enjoyed the way the characters interacted, and I enjoyed the story overall. Thanks to NetGalley and Bold Strokes Books for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Dani Brown has the kind of fantasies she can’t share with just anyone, let alone trust someone enough to make them come true. The Agency is a perfect solution—safe, secret, and best of all, no strings attached. Oh wow. What a fantastic book! I was totally hooked… I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
While this is not a book for my classroom, I found the heroine’s journey well thought out, engaging, and plausible. There were times I didn’t agree with a choice but such is like. It was a good storyline well dynamic character development.
Escorted follows our two heroines Ryan and Dani. Dani is a rather sexually repressed woman who dreams of having sex with another woman but is somewhat particular in her desires, even if she’s never acted on them. Ryan on the other hand is the founder and CEO of The Agency, an escort service for women who could use the services of other women. The pair start off with a business arrangement but over time it grows to be more. The book is definitely high heat as Dani explores her sexuality from early on and the relationship builds after their first few encounters.
If you’re in the mood for women who know what they want and are willing to ask (and pay!) for it with some BDSM and of course, a hea, check this one out.
I was given an ARC of this book by net galley in exchange for an honest review.
Well! This was quite the different read for me. If you like more heat in your lesbian romances, this is for you. Very well described sex scenes, and yes, they are necessary for this plot Think 50 shades of Grey gone Lesbian. It was along the lines of a complicated fairy tale, with erotica. There is definitely a white knight, and a damsel in distress. Somewhat of a background story for the main characters but not to deep. If you're looking for an in depth plot, this is not it. More like an escape and a good time kind of reading. Keeping that in mind it is definitely worth a read. The author knows what she's talking about.
This was a well written fast read. The relationship between Ryan and Dani was kind of a slow burn, but I thought it was more a relationship of feeling out the other person and then starting to develop romantic feelings for that person in the long run. The supporting characters seemed to help move the relationship along between the main characters so, that the story didn't get to bogged down in the middle. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and I look forward to what this author writes next.
I really loved this book. It’s saucy, it’s spicy, but it’s also really respectful of the LGBT+ community and the sex working industry.
I loved the really distinct POV’s of the two main characters and the frustration I felt when they both had this connection with each other but was scared to act on it.
I think it was a great spicy book with a really nice plot to go along with it
Escort was a quick read with characters that opened up the narrative to LGBTQ romance. The book was a little slow to start but picked up with great relationship storylines and steamy romance scenes.
Fans of The L Word will enjoy this. Ryan is the CEO of a highly successful lesbian escort agency. Dani is just beginning to explore her sexuality and comes across this agency after a chance encounter. After a conversation with Dani about her needs and what she wants to explore, Ryan becomes instantly intrigued. After a few sessions and lots of other drama in-between, they both realise it may just be more than sex. I found the steamy chapters steamy, but wished there was more of it! But Renee does a great job with character development and weaving the spicy scenes in.
