A heartwarming story of second chances, taking that leap of faith and learning that there is a place you can call home.

The bonds of friendship and feeling of community combined with beautiful descriptions of the beach house and stunning location felt like being wrapped in a hug.

I loved the sparks that flew between Joanna and Nate.

A heartwarming story with a nice easy pace and interesting plot, a bit of a summer romance with an ‘against all odds’ feel, I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
Interesting characters and a seaside backdrop along with a little twist to keep me involved, I found Beach House Summer an easy, uncomplicated read.

This was a simple, nice easy read, something I would normally read on holiday. The story was lovely and it was nicely told from the 3 women points of view overall great but quite predictable. I would read more from this author.

A must read that pulls at the heart strings but lifts you with hope!

Joanna's celebrity ex dies in a car crash - to escape the press she has to revist her past.

Painful, tragic, emotional but also filled with hope. Can she mend the burnt bridges with those she left behind when she escaped her hometown.

I have read all of Sarah Morgans books and I enjoyed this one as well, it was a good light read. It was a little slow in places and I did find that it was all just a bit too easy for the characters but it was still enjoyable.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was an nice and easy read. The story was quite slow in places and I did struggle to connect with the characters. Overall it was an ok read would make a perfect relaxed holiday read.

This was pretty lighthearted and an easy read, a perfect book to read by the beach - especially given the setting!

I quite liked the relationship between Joanna and Ashley because they both don't really have anyone and in a way become each other's family, caring for each other and ready to support and defend when needed.

I loved the setting and the community feel also, where it's a small place and everyone looks out for Joanna and this extends to Ashley.

However things sometimes feel a little too easy? I'd expect more confusion and emotions given the situations between characters but a simple conversation and everyone seems pretty happy and everything is kind of peachy? I don't like a lot of conflict or confrontation in a story but I also don't believe that things can always be this easy either.

3/5⭐

Beach House Summer is Sarah Morgan’s latest women’s fiction release. The story follows the journey of three main characters Joanna, Mel and Ashley.

Joanna and Ashley meet under very unlikely circumstances, and Joanna is dead set on protecting Ashley from the public eye. They head to Joanna’s home town of Silver Point to hide out however Joanna’s past has no intention of staying in the past.

I loved the setting of this story. A few years ago I had a road trip down the west coast through towns like Monterey and Pismo Beach and Silver Point had me reminiscing for those beautiful beach side California towns with fresh seafood fare and beautiful views. Definitely a great read for the end of the summer to keep that summer vibe going!

While I’m enjoying Sarah’s latest releases I do miss her romances with their building tension and chemistry! Some of my favourites include her From Manhattan With Love series and her Snow Crystal trilogy.

Joanna is a wonderful main character. She's stronger than she thinks and kinder than we all even hope to be! The way she selflessly helps Ashley and comforts her is so heartwarming. I adored this book and couldn't wait to find out what happened for the two of them!

This is my second book by Sarah Morgan, and the first one was a Christmas one, so I feel like she’s writing for all seasons now I’ve read summer one! 😂

I won’t lie, it took me a while to get into this one, I think it’s because I was reading it on my kindle alongside a physical book and it just kinda took a backseat. BUT once I focused solely on Beach House Summer, I couldn’t put it down, I needed to know more from Joanne, Ashley and Mel.

I loved the relationship between Joanne and Ashley, I mean they were thrown together in an unconventional way, but they made it work and it was beautiful to see. I absolutely ADORED the setting for this book. I went to California a few years ago on honeymoon and it felt like I was revisiting places we’d been. There was such a sense of community in this one, and the town itself sounded perfect, I want to go there! And that beach house…wow! I’d like that too please and thank you.

This one has got found family, amazing relationships, fabulous characters, a bit of drama, second chance romance, and a beautiful setting. A fun easy summer read!

I wonder if I have grown out of Sarah Morgan...
I used to love reading her books, I felt like I was right there, taking in the atmosphere of exactly what she was trying to show the reader. Unfortunately, this time the surroundings did not make up for what I felt the characters were lacking. I'm not even sure lacking is the right word. I think I might just be tired of them always being, well, beautiful. And successful at what they want to do. And humble, always humble. And one way or another they have beautiful houses despite often havinge average jobs. Anyway, maybe it's time for me to move on.
