When Henry Hawkesbury returns to Hawe's Cove, he has very different plans for the estate; turning away the staff and refunding customers he is soon in need of help from Lily. But in return, he must allow her to host her best friend's wedding at the estate as originally planned. Trading favours soon leads them to trade a lot more and in the process take a journey of healing.

This is the fourth and final book within the series by Toffolo, I have actually only read two books within the series
(this and Meet me in Tahiti), however, although missing the first two books you can still get through the novel and this read will only make you want to go back to read the others.

This novel allows the four friends to come full circle within their individual journeys, growing and healing from the accident that happened 10 years previously and finding love.

Toffolo writes a novel that is easy to read, a narrative that is full of emotion and friendship and a final book that beautifully rounds off the series.
I really looked forward to this series and will be going back to read books 1 and 2.

Meet Me At The Wedding is the fourth and concluding story of the "Meet Me" series. This delightful story of love and the strength of female friendship is an absolute must-read for anyone looking for a light-hearted, warm summer read.

This wrap-up story is beautifully written, in style expected as a norm from Georgia Toffolo, and her voice played continuously as a narrator within my head as I read. Elegant, charming and graceful, Meet Me at the Wedding left me feeling emotional and teary-eyed after coming to think of Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily as my fictional friends. A modern SATC, if you will!

Although this sees the return of these familiar characters in the group of sassy, strong and emotionally intelligent women, this book will work as a stand-alone. Some new characters are introduced to the readers, which makes it a more of a shame this is the final book of the series.

If you can't already tell, I loved this read, and I can not recommend it enough. There isn't a review that I could write that can do it justice, so why not treat yourself and order a copy for yourself and your girlfriends today!

Meet Me At The Wedding by Georgia Toffolo

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Mills & Boon and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Lily loves living in Hawke’s Cove, and planning her best friend’s wedding at the Hawkesbury estate is the icing on the cake. But when the estate’s owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury – a man she hasn’t seen since that fateful night ten years ago…

Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke’s Cove, sell his estranged late father’s estate and leave. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone – except him!

But when Henry needs Lily’s help, she will only provide it if the wedding can go ahead. Working together means both must face their pasts, and, in doing so embrace their future. But can two people afraid of love acknowledge what they have always wanted…?

This is the fourth and final book in the Meet Me series. In this book we follow Lily as she tries to arrange Victoria's wedding at the Hawkesbury Estate - this is made more challenging when the owner dies and Lily is left to deal with his son Henry. If you have read any of the previous books in this series then you will know that the four friends all have issues that they are trying to deal with.

Such a thrilling conclusion to what has been a great series. Whilst part of the series each of these books can be read as individuals but there is definitely something special about reading the series as a whole.

Rating 4/5

Ahh, this last book of in the ‘Meet Me In’-series by Georgia Toffolo is probably my favourite of the four.

In ‘Meet Me At The Wedding’, Lily is planning the wedding of one of her four best friends, Victoria- from ‘Meet Me In London’. The girls are coming together for the first time in a long time in their hometown of Hawke’s Cove, celebrating Victoria’s and Oliver’s special day at Hawkesbury Estate.

However, after the passing of his estranged father Henry Hawkesbury isn’t so keen on having the celebrations held at his home, he very much wishes to sell as quickly as possible. But when Henry needs Lily’s help giving a tour to a potential buyer she agrees to it, if only to make sure Victoria has the most beautiful wedding day she can wish for.

What a great book to end the series with! The book switches between Victoria’s and Henry’s point of view, and we learn how a tragic incident in their mutual past, still affects their futures. But Victoria and Henry not only find their way to let go of the past, but also to each other and a brighter future together.

I loved how we got to know each of the girls (Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily), and their stories through this series, and how strong their bond is. How they lift each other up, when they need to, but also root for one another to live their best lives possible. Absolutely lovely!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for my advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

As teenagers we all have dreams and aspirations. It was no different for Lily, Malie, Zoe and Victoria. Their A levels have finished and dressed up for the prom. Excitedly they set off. Four very happy carefree girls. That is until a stupid car driver goes to overtake them ......

We next hear about them ten years later. Everyone of them has survived however all have suffered with different scars. Lily is the one who escaped with no physical injuries however as the story goes on, we do discover some mental effects the car crash has caused.

Living in an idyllic cove, Hawkers Cove, she works for the Estate owner. She loves her job and after the accident he was a wonderful friend to her. However, he died unexpectedly and this meant she had to meet Henry his son. She has not seen him for ten years. His father had sent him away. To say that their meeting went with a certain civility is putting it politely. Henry was astounded by her looks and certainly her feistiness. She was angry as she was busy arranging her friend Victoria’s wedding, to be held at the Hall. Just a few weeks before the day, when Henry returns, he sends all the staff home and cancels all bookings. He was solely fixed on selling the estate and getting out as quickly as possible. When Henry realises, he desperately needs Lily’s help, he has to agree that the Estate will host the wedding. What happens in the run up to the wedding and after must not be missed. Get your copy and find out. You will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful book. Well written with a deep sense of humour running through it and compassion. It shows how living in a small community, people forget the past and rally around and work together with compassion.

The characterisation was perfect. I could believe in all of them. The friendship between the four girls which lasted for many years was beautiful and I could visualise the joy, happiness and laughter that they shared. I could not put this down. I didn’t realise until I had finished that this was the last book in a set of four. It didn’t detract from my enjoyment. Congratulations Georgia on such a fantastic novel. I shall be reading the first three.

This is the perfect summer read!! The last of four books, I had read the first, and thoroughly enjoyed that and this!! No need to read all four but will bring you more joy if you do!!
Based on the friendship of four girls in Devon and where life takes them over the years.
This book is based around Lily, who runs a restaurant in Hawk's Cove in Devon, and is planning the wedding for her great friend V. The characters who live at the Cove are brilliantly depicted. The love within the friendship of the four is wonderful to read.
This is a warm and fabulous read!! Well written and easy to become completely absorbed! There is love and romance but also love of family and friends. Delightful, fun, sparkling, and feel good!!
Big thanks to NetGalley for the early read!! Cant wait for what's next!!

I have loved every single book in this series and I'm so sad that it has come to an end. It has been perfect escapism over the last few years and was exactly what was needed.

This final instalment focuses on the build up to Victoria and Ollie's wedding which they are hoping to hold back at Hawkes Cove. Lily has taken on the responsibility but with the death of her mentor Blake and the return of his son Henry things do not seem to be going to plan. Henry closes the estate down and sends all the staff home. It's up to Lily to try to change his mind.

Everyone reading this genre knows the basic story line and what to expect. The joy is always in the reading and seeing the plot unfold. This book does that beautifully. I was really rooting for Lily and Henry and so please all four girls got their happy ever afters.

More books please Toff!!!

I had a lot of fun in reading this entertaining, fast paced, and compelling story. I liked the characters, rooted for them, and had fun in reading it.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

The fourth and final book in Georgia Toffolo’s first series, Meet me at the Wedding, continues with the story of Lily and features the perfect friendship of the “lost hours” girls with some romance and a little bit of passion along the way. As with the previous three books, this is a typical “Mills & Boon” style story – albeit a little bit of a predictable ending however an overall easy, enjoyable and relaxing read to enjoy with a glass of wine and perfect for your summer holiday.

It is not essential to read the books of this series in their chronological order however I feel Meet me at the Wedding provides closure with ‘the wedding’ and all the girls reuniting together. It provides a nice insight into their futures and even if you read London, Hawaii and Tahiti in any order that takes your fancy, you should certainly finish with this one.

I have been pleasantly surprised by all of the novels written by Georgia Toffolo, you sometimes find books written by or with celebrities/TV personalities can fall a bit flat and this certainly isn’t the case for Toff. I will wholeheartedly recommend the series to friends and family, fingers crossed for a new book from Toff in the near future!

Loved all the books in this series and this one to my mind is the best.
Loved the way it incorporated all the previous stories with out detracting from the main theme of this book.
Great holiday read with a real feel good factor can’t recommend it enough

I've read the whole Meet Me series by Georgia Toffolo over the past 2 years and I've enjoyed every single instalment; this final one was no exception.

Having read the others, I felt somewhat familiar with the lead in this book, Lily, but she's been on the sidelines in all the other books, so it was great to get a deeper look at her character. She ended up being the most likeable of the four friends for me; her strength and sass in the face of an obvious lack of confidence was endearing.

I wasn't expecting to like Henry as a character. The first few interactions with him felt a bit stilted and he has a less than glowing history in the other books, but he grew on me very quickly. It became apparent early on that he was going to be a positive force in Lily's journey, and the back-and-forth between their characters was very amusing to read. Their chemistry was well-written and I found myself rooting for them much earlier than I anticipated.

In terms of the friendships at the heart of the series, it was lovely to finally have scenes where all four friends were in the same place at once, rather than conversing on one of their Lost Hours phone calls. Their support of each other continued to be the central theme for the story, and was charmingly portrayed in this book more than in the others considering the role that Henry played in all of their lives.

The epilogue was a lovely way to end the series, with happy situations set up for every couple and a sense of familiarity and camaraderie that we all hope for in the friendships we have in our own lives.

Wonderfully charming and beautifully written story, and a fitting end to a lovely series of stories about the importance of friendship first and foremost.

Enjoyable Story - Last in a Series.
Whilst this book can be read as a standalone, readers will probably enjoy it more if they have read the previous books. Apart from a stint at culinary school in London, Lily has stayed in her small home village all her life, keeping in touch with her far travelling friends via her mobile. Taking on the planning of her best friend’s wedding, along with her restaurant business, she doesn’t realise she is hiding from life until Henry Hawkesbury returns home to sell his inheritance. If she is hiding, then Henry is running; will they realise that together they are better than apart?
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A perfect Mills & Boon read and another wonderful story by Georgia Toffolo to end this four book series.
I have read all four books and and each of them I thoroughly enjoyed. I would say you do t need to read them in order but I’m glad I did as I feel the stories are more fluent. I totally recommend this book and indeed the other three in this series.

A lovely easy read about Lily who lives in Hawke’s Cove and is looking forward to planning her best friends wedding at Hawkesbury estate. But then disaster strikes when the owner dies and his son returns from America and wants nothing to do with the estate and plans to sell it.
What follows is a story of trials and twists as Lily persuades the son to let her best friend hold the wedding at the estate, thoroughly enjoyed the story you can get lost in and forget anything else.
Highly recommend and thanks to NetGalley and Mills & Boon.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this latest book by Georgia Toffolo.

A gloriously sunny Saturday, a very chilled glass of wine and a book that fitted my mood perfectly. I was able to escape for a few hours and even though the storyline was extremely predictable, the pace was perfectly balanced and the characters were warm, relatable and the girls' friendship enveloped you in a close hug that you didn't feel as though you were intruding. 3.5 stars... xx

I really like Georgia Toffolo from what I’ve seen on TV, so I was keen to read a book of hers. I didn’t realise till the end that it was the ultimate in a series of 4 books. As it turned out it didn’t matter that I hadn’t read the other three but it’s worth considering starting at the beginning I guess.

I won’t precis the story, that’s done by better writers than me in the blurb about the book and by other reviewers.

This book is a typical Mills & Boon romance. If that’s a genre that you like, you’ll love this book. For my taste, although I enjoyed the book, it’s just a bit too ‘perfect’ and ‘predictable’ for me, however, I liked the characters and it’s a lovely story.

I’m giving it a four because I can see that if you like this genre,, you’ll love it but it’s not really my genre.

The Georgia Toffolo 'Meet Me' series was an unexpected love! This is the fourth and final book in it :(! Lily is organising her friend Victoria's wedding, she has the perfect venue at a beautiful estate, booked and ready. Sadly the owner of the estate passes away and when the Son, Henry, inherits the estate he cancels all events. Lily finds out about this before Victoria and she is determined to sort this mess out before Victoria finds out. She meets with Henry and is ready to do everything she can to ensure the wedding does take place at the estate.

As you know the Meet  Me series gives all four friends their own book, which personally I loved, I loved seeing their friendships in all of them, I loved the references and connections. Reading the series as a whole definitely adds to the experience however it is not necessary for you to have read the series to read this book or any of the other ones as they all do work as stand alone.

I thought this was a fantastic conclusion to the series and I loved how it ended!  The relationships and friendships and interactions between the characters are so enjoyable!

Thank you to NetGallery, Mills and Boon and Georgia Toffolo for the ARC in return for an honest review!

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

The fourth and final book in the series. Lily is one of her friends V’s wedding planner. She started her own restaurant with the help on Blake who was the owner of Hawkesbury Estate. Blake’s son Henry returns following his fathers death to put the estate up for sale. Things don’t turn out as he expects and Lily turns his world upside down.

Brilliant read.

*Meet Me at the Wedding* is the final book in Georgia Toffolo’s *Meet Me* romance series. The word that comes to mind most in this book (and greater series) is “cute.” It’s not particularly deep, but that’s okay. If you want escapist romance, then this book is for you. Lily Atwell, chef, and temporary wedding planner is planning her friend Victoria’s perfect wedding and is determined that everything goes smoothly. She wants to hold the wedding at the estate where she, Victoria, and their friends Zoe and Malie grew up, but the owner has put up unexpected resistance. In trying to negotiate, Lily and Henry grow closer and find closure for their past (and current) disagreements.

As with *Meet Me in Tahiti*, the writing style is not great. I still have not read the first two books in this series (but I will!), so there is also some context that I was missing. The pacing of the romance story felt a tad hasty at the beginning but gets better as the book continues.

The book is pretty par for the course as a romance. It’s neither bad nor good. There isn’t really much to say about it, so I’ll leave it here.
