This isn't my usual genre of books but I have read the full series now and honestly have enjoyed them all.
What you see is what you get with these books - if you're looking for deep and meaningful prose then you're looking in the wrong place but if you'd like a light romance, with your typical rom com type tropes then you're in for a treat
Each of these books has been a light escapist read and this is no different. I've loved the characters along the way and Lily was a firm favourite - she's the kind of person I can imagine being friends with!
Thanks to Toff, Mills & Boon and Netgalley for this ARC!
A wonderful conclusive to the quartet of books. It follows the final singleton and her road to romance. A pleasant and enjoyable read.
Two and a half stars.
Lily grew up in a small town in Cornwall and it was where she returned to lick her wounds after her fiance stole her savings and ran away. There she's lived peacefully, started her own restaurant and helped the owner of the nearby Hawkesbury Estate to build his hotel and vineyard into the successful business it is today. However, when he dies unexpectedly his estranged son Henry returns determined to sell the estate. Henry and his father fell out and hadn't spoken for a decade, Cornwall is nothing but regret and bad memories for him now, he can't bear to have anyone near him, judging him and talking behind his back so he's let all the staff go and cancelled all the hotel bookings, including the wedding of Lily's friend Victoria, a wedding that Lily has been planning for months.
Ten years ago Lily and her three friends were involved in a terrible car crash, involving Henry and another classmate called Claudia, on their way to the end of school dance. Each of them bear scars from that night whether physical or mental. Lily's three friends have found love, despite the events of that night, but Lily has remained single since her fiance's betrayal.
At first Lily intends to try to sweet talk Henry into allowing Victoria's wedding to continue, especially since his father had fully intended it to take place on the Estate, but when they meet she is so incensed that she lays into him and calls him names. They part on bad terms, until Henry realises he needs Lily to host an Estate tour and wine tasting for a potential buyer and his wife. In return, Henry has to promise to host Victoria's wedding.
As Henry and Lily work towards Victoria's wedding their attraction grows stronger, but how can they be a couple when he can't bear to stay and she can't imagine leaving?
This is the fourth book in a series and ho boy does it show, maybe if I had read the other books I would have enjoyed this more but there felt like an awful lot of backstory about the three other women and their HEAs which frankly meant nothing to me. This just felt long and sloooow, Henry is attracted to Lily but he doesn't feel he deserves a woman like her, Lily can't let herself care for yet another man who could leave her. There's a disaster with the wedding, they almost kiss, Henry is attracted to Lily but he doesn't feel he deserves a woman like her, Lily can't let herself care for yet another man who could leave her. Rinse and repeat.
Sorry, this just wasn't for me, way too many superfluous characters it was like Avengers Endgame all over again!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.
The fourth and final instalment of the "Meet Me..." series, and it certainly didn't disappoint!
Meet Me At The Wedding tells Lily's story, after we have heard Victoria, Malie and Zoe's stories in previous books. Lily is organising Victoria's wedding in Hawkes Cove, the village the girls all grew up in, and where the crash that defined their early lives happened. We see Lily face life without her beloved mentor Blake, and come face to face with his son, Henry, who was also involved in the teenage crash. Can Lily ensure the wedding goes ahead smoothly, and can she and Henry overcome their own personal demons?
A fabulous ending to a lovely series. I adored all four girls, and the descriptions of the settings in all books was just stunning - Hawkes Cove and the vineyard were beautiful in this story.
Can't wait to see what Georgia Toffolo comes up with next, her writing style is so easy to read and addictive!
Perfect! What a perfect end to a sweet, heart warming series of books.
I got straight into this one when the publishers sent me a copy and I was so drawn back into the world Georgia has created that I finished it in no time.
The story is the usual girly rom com with a wedding and beautiful surroundings to add to the charm. I would 100% recommend this book to any fans of the earlier books in the series, and those who enjoy a chic lit which ticks every box.
Well done Georgia Toffolo and Mills and Boon for such a lovely end to the series!
I cannot praise this book enough, I’ve read every book in this series although they are stand alone books they linked in really well. Everyone of the characters in this book are likeable and I was absolutely rooting for the happy ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading this genre. 5stars, fantastic read
Having read the other wonderful books in the Meet Me … series, I was excited to get the fourth (and sadly last) book in the series. I wasn’t disappointed. This time centring around lily and the preparations for Victoria’s wedding. Her preparations fling her together with Henry, the son of her former mentor, who was also involved in the accident that changed the girl’s teenage years. Initial hostility turns to friendship and then so much more. There’s fun, there’s anguish and there’s healing along the way.
I loved the series and this book and thought it was the perfect end to the girl’s journey. However, I also feel a little sad that this series has come to an end and it’s time to say goodbye to the girl’s and the Lost Hours.
Meet me at the Wedding, Georgia Toffolo

Genre: Romance, Womens Fiction
Usual moan, womens fiction – just why? Men both read and write romance...
Anyway, I didn't realise this was a series, my bad, and of course I've not read earlier books. They're what I think of as connected books though, rather than an ongoing series, with each book being a complete story so it was easy to follow along.
I enjoyed this read, loved Lily and Henry, both still feeling the pain of that accident many years back. Non visible scars can cause a lot of pain and grief.
I really wanted to love this book, loved the characters, loved the settings, the wedding sounded absolutely beautiful, but....I didn't find that must-keep-reading spark. I kept thinking, Lily is so busy, so who's running the restaurant while this is happening. Then when plans for the wedding went wrong, it was such a quick simple fix when in real life it would be one heck of a nightmare. I think I needed just a spot more reality, I can and do gloss over lots in the name of fiction, ( I don't want all the grim realities of life to bring stories down but...) somehow here there was a little too much booklandia and too little reality.
Its a fun read, a good story, but just a little too much cute and sweet, and a little lacking in the darkness and drama that I need to balance that. Its personal as always, not everyone wants the same thing in a story, and its very much my issue that I need that balance to make a five star read.
Stars: Three, a fun romance, with some great characters, lots of sweetness
but lacking in the counterbalance despair dept.

The fourth in the series and sadly the last. The books need to be read from Book 1 in order to follow the relationships between 4 school friends as they grow up. Each book focuses on one of the girls but as best friends they all appear in each book. This book is around Lily the chef preparing for one of the girls wedding however I loved the fact that it ended with 10 years on as to round up the series. I shall miss these girls so please bring us more characters that we can fall in love with. Thanks Toff your publisher and NetGalley.
Absolutely loved the final book in the series. Lily and Henry were so good together. I adored how they chose to show each other with actions how they were hiding from truths about themselves and then fully supported each other to deal with those truths. I also appreciated Lily's resolve towards the end to live life as it was instead of pining for a future that may never be. The wedding was also stunning and I was all in. Definitely will want to reread in future as a feel good book.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC for a review.
I’d only read ‘Meet Me in Hawaii’ from this series and had enjoyed it. I like the way the girls friendship flowed through the stories and that ‘Meet Me at the Wedding’ was set ahead of the previous book. Lilly and Henry were likeable characters. The Cove felt like a beautiful setting I’d want to visit for a summer. I like the way Georgia gets to the point with her plot line and there isn’t too much fluff around waiting for the action to happen. It was great that the key point of getting together ended with a proposal.
The fourth and final book on the Meet me series from Georgia Toffolo.
In the first one we met Victoria, the second Malie and the third Zoe.
In this one we find out more about Lily.
Written in what I have come to expect from Georgia's writing style, Lily is organising the wedding of one of her friends and meets up with a character from the girls' earlier life. He also carries the guilt from the accident that changed all their lives.
A really lovely way to end the series and complete with an epilogue which ties up all loose ends.
I highly recommend this novel, and the full series!
Georgia has done well with her books in the series and this one just adds to it. It was well written with loveable characters. A lovely way to finish her series!
We rejoin Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily for the last time. This time we learn Lily's story and its just as beautiful and heart-breaking as the other's.
Again, love and friendship are the main themes in this book, something Georgia Toffolo writes about brilliantly. We go on a journey of healing and forgiveness with Lily and Henry while they discover who they are and what they want from their lives. We have questions from previous books answered.
The conclusion to this story feels right and whilst I'm gutted that this is the last book in the series, I cant wait to discover what ever else Georgia Toffolo writes.
Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read an early copy of this brilliant book!
I received a copy of this from the publisher Mills and boon, and Netgalley in return for an honest review.
I love Georgia’s ‘Meet Me…’ series, and was so excited to get the last one, although also a bit gutted it’s the last one. This one was just as good as the others, and it wraps the story of the four girls up nicely.
The girls are all amazing in their own way, but I’ve been waiting for Lily’s story. And it did not disappoint. Lily sounds like an amazing woman, and Henry started off a bit of an ass, but redeemed himself after not too long.
I love the way the Estate is described, but the surrounding areas too like the waterfront. I pictured it all beautifully in my head, and it feels like the type of place a week away would be lovely. It was so good to see all of the girls and other characters from the other 3 books, all together again, and to hear more about what happened on that fateful prom night.
If you haven’t read these books I suggest you go buy them as they’re such good, romantic, happy books. I hope Georgia writes something else as I have fallen in love with her writing.
Thanks again to Mills and Boon, and Netgalley for my arc.
This series never disappoints! Following Lily's story this time, this story brings you a good old will they, won't they which keeps you on tenterhooks right through.
Absolutely loved this book! Can't believe this is the final book in the series- really don't know what I am going to do without the 'Awesome Foursome'! This book was as usual well written and a lovely easy read. A lot of unanswered questions get answered throughout the course of the book; mostly around the subject of the car accident which we learn about in the very first novel 'Meet me in London'. I have enjoyed every single one of these books and have loved learning about each of these characters; ending up with the lovely Lily. We hear of Lily throughout all of the stories but it was lovely to read her story and how her character is with the main male in this book Henry. 100% recommend this book to all; I would also recommend that the story's are read in the correct order also but such a lovely story to end the series!

This is the fourth book in the series, each book is focused on a one of the friends. This book is all about Lilly, she is living in Hawkes Cove and round her own restaurant.
She is looking forward to organising her friend's wedding at the Hawkesbury estate, when the owner suddenly dies, and his estranged son Henry turns up, cancels all events, shuts the hotel and send all the staff away.
Henry plans to sell the estate, which reminds him of all the bad times he had growing up, when his father put the estate and his grapes before his wife and child.
Can Lilly change his mind and let her organise Victoria's wedding there, and can they face the truth of the past and move forward with their lives.
I haven't read all the other books but it didn't really matter, I loved this book and again wanted to live there and feel the love that these people have for each other. I would recommend to everyone who wants a nice wholesome book. I hope Georgia don't stop writing as her goodness and compassion and sense of fun shines through these books.
Wow. After reading first 3 books this one definitely didn’t disappoint.
I love the way you feel immersed into their lives and didn’t want story to end.
Thank you to Netgalley and Georgia Toffolo for the advanced review copy of meet me at the wedding. I’ve been waiting for the final instalment on tenterhooks and it did not disappoint. I’ve absolutely loved getting to know Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily and their stories will stay with me. Would highly recommend and looking forward to the next book from Toff.
