Thankyou for giving me the chance to read in advance.

Loved it and would highly recommend! I’m probably slightly biased as I’ve love her other books and think she’s fab all round!

I loved the first three books in this series, but I couldn’t get into this final book. I had to DNF it at 20% as it just wasn’t holding my interest. Sorry Toff, I think your luck at writing books has run out. Not for me I am afraid. Too lacking in substance, even by chick lit standards.

The fourth book in the meet me series (but can be stand alone read) A fitting end to an enjoyable series, great characters some returning from previous books. A super book to read on the beach. Thank you for the advance copy netgalley

This was a fitting end to the Lost Hours sequence of books and Lily was a really engaging and warm choice of character to finish on a high note. The previous books have all been set in locations far from Devon but have referred back to Hawkes Cove and the girls’ lives there so it was really nice to visit them all back there again for the wedding of Victoria and Oliver as set up in the first book. The fact that the hero (Henry) of this book is someone mentioned in previous novels was also a nice touch as it added to the familiarity of characters and made the happy ending much more satisfying than they sometimes are. I would have liked to have found out what really did happen to Lily during those three lost hours in Ibiza though...

A great ending to a wholesome romantic series! This is the accumulation of all my favorite troupes and brilliantly brings all the girls' in the series stories together in such a wonderful way.

I definitely recommend this series to any romance reader!

I have honestly really enjoyed this series and I was really looking forward to seeing how it all got wrapped up. However, I just felt like this one fell a little bit flat for me. It was lacking the sparks and chemistry of some of the previous books and the hatred between them turned to romance unrealistically quickly in my opinion.

I did like seeing more of the girls friendship together and I loved the setting around the wedding but it was just a little too picture perfect and twee for me. Don’t get me wrong it was not a bad read and I raced through it but I still think the series peaked in book one for me.

Meet Me At The Wedding is the fourth book in the Meet Me At series but could be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.
Each book in the series focuses on four friends Victoria (book 1), Malie (book 2), Zoe (book 3), and Lily (book 4).
From the series I had only read Meet Me At Tahiti which I really enjoyed so couldn’t wait to read Meet Me At The Wedding.
This instalment focuses on Lily who has been planning her friend Victoria's wedding at Hawkesbury Estate (where Lily works).
However, when Blake (the owner) dies, the estate has been passed onto his son Henry and he promptly sends all the staff home and cancels all reservations and events – including Victoria’s wedding.
Lily is determined to make sure the wedding happens there and to get the plans back on track before Victoria finds out.
She has to swallow her pride and try to push her feelings about Henry to the side so they can work together to get the estate running again and to get the wedding and hen party to be a success.
I loved the character development of both Henry and Lily throughout the story and there’s some laugh out loud, tender and sad moments.
Lily comes to realise she’s at a fork in the road and has to decide what she wants to do to move forward.
Henry has been running from his past and from his home since the terrible accident which impacted not only his life and Claudia’s but “the awesome foursome” and their families lives too.
This is a story about discovering who you are, community, that no man or woman is an island and that you do need to lean on others sometimes as well as a love story.
I loved it when Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily were finally reunited – their friendship reminds me of my two best friends.
I really enjoyed Meet Me At The Wedding and it makes me want to read the other two books from the series I’ve missed out on.

This great summer read is the last in the 4 book ‘Meet Me’ series written by Georgia Toffolo, and one of my favourites. Following a traumatic car crash, the series follows how four friends meet their partners, and this story features Lily and Harry who, although initially antagonistic towards each other, find that sizzling chemistry enters the air.
The book is the culmination of this great series, and like the previous stories, written in a warm and friendly style with crisp, amusing dialogue, though also explores darker areas such as loss and betrayal. Harry and Lily intensely dislike each other initially, but needing reciprocal favours, romance begins to flourish.
Set in the bustling village of Hawke’s Cove, Devon, engaging descriptions of village life, wine harvesting and making, neighbourhood and friendships are so emotively described, you feel you are part of the community. Toff expertly sets the scene and brings the characters alive.
Although the book is the last of the series, it can be read as a stand-alone story. Georgia Toffolo is making a real name for herself as a modern, creative writer, and this is a real winner for me, and I can’t wait to read more of her stories.

This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2022 and it didn’t disappoint. Just like the other 3 it was really easy to read and it was a great way to wrap up the series.

BOOK REVIEW

MEET ME AT THE WEDDING BY GEORGIA TOFFOLO.

Thank you for netgalley for this free copy of the book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the fourth book in the meet me at series. Each book focuses on four friends Victoria (book 1), Malie (book 2), Zoe (book 3), and Lily (book 4). I will admit that I have not read the other books, but I don't think it mattered that I had not read them.

Lily has been planning her friend Victoria's wedding at Hawkesbury Estate (where Lily works). However, when Blake (the owner) dies, it has been passed onto his son Henry. However, when Henry cancels Victoria's wedding. Lily is determined to make sure the wedding happens there before Victoria finds out.

I loved the character development of both Henry and Lily, and that I loved reading their story. Henry learns to not be hurt/angry about what happened in the past, and Lily learns that she needs to live her life, instead of living her life through other people and not be a 'fixer' for other people. I loved it when Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily all came together, as it gave me Mamma Mia vibes!

As I have not read the other books, my impression from the other books is that you learn that the four friends were in an accident, but you don't know what that accident was. Well, in this book you find out what caused Victoria not able to have children, and how Zoe is in a wheelchair.

It was the perfect story, and I loved it. Makes me want to read the other books!

A quick and easy read that I found myself picking up after a long day to unwind. The characters are beautifully written and I came to love them within the first few pages and was rooting for them all the way to the end. At times I wanted to stop reading because I just wanted the experience to go on for longer.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Just lovely. An excellent end to the series and full of the emotional highs, drama and friendship that is now expected from Georgia Toffolo. The four friends come together for Victoria’s wedding which may not happen. We follow Lily as she fights for the wedding to happen and go on her journey as she sorts through her feelings for her home, the job she does and the neighbours she has as well as, obviously, for Henry.

Preparations are in full swing for Victoria and Oliver’s wedding at the Hawkesbury Estate but after Blake, the owner and friend of the group, especially Lily, dies and leaves the estate to his son Henry all plans are in turmoil. With Henry closing and cancelling all upcoming bookings it’s looking like all the planning Lily’s done for her best friends wedding could’ve all been for nothing.

When Henry returns to Hawke’s Cove he can see the people of the small town staring at him. Having not spoken to his father in years after an argument, the last thing he needs is the Hawkesbury estate and the nosey locals to deal with. But when he sees Lily again after so many years caring for the estate having spent so many years helping his father, he wants to know more about the woman who was once part of the same devastating accident as he was.

After reading the previous three books this was a must read for me. It was great to hear the story of Lily, the fourth of the friend group and the one who stayed mostly in Hawke’s cove. As with the other books it was a nice easy read with characters who have things in their past that have affected them in different ways. I’ve really enjoyed reading the “awesome foursomes” stories.

Lily has lived all her life in Hawkes' Cove. She's planning her best friend's wedding but then someone returns from the past which could change all that

For the majority of her life, Lily has lived in Hawkes Cove. Only moving away for culinary college in London followed by a disastrous failed engagement which saw her ex making off with £15k of her money. But she is happy in Hawkes Cove despite the past traumas and lost loved ones she has insured. She loves her restaurant, has friends and family, what more could a girl want? Maybe love, children and a white picket fence.

Returning to Hawkes Cove after ten years away from the place was never going to be easy for Henry. His father, Blake, passed away without them able to heal the hurtful words spoken in anger all those years ago. With no good memories here Henery is hoping to sell Hawkesbury Estate and get back to his app developer life as soon as possible. Standing in his way is Lily Atwell who not only knows how everything operates at the estate, had all those happy memories of his father he never got but also keeps pestering him about her friend's wedding at the estate - which he cancelled!

Needing her help to do a tour of the estate to prospective buyers Henry makes a bargain with Lily - she can have the wedding at the estate. Despite having a history they learn more about each other as their paths cross over the next few weeks. Dealing with harvest hiccups, storms and wedding decorations. Whilst they each feel the attraction burning between them Henry is leaving and Lily deserves so much more - she deserves to be loved.

A Supremely sublime five-star read. I have loved the whole Meet me series, and this story feels like coming home to a special place. Lily has always felt a little like the friend left behind, but reading this story, you realise that she wasn’t left behind, she has been following her own path, but time has become a fork in the path, and you need to read this story to find out which path she will take. Lily has been through so much, she has fought so hard to stay on the path and not loose it all along the way, not just the accident, but her dad and then Blake, life is hard in so many ways, I was so glad that she finally gets what she deserves. But it was little lord Fauntleroy who really surprised me and made me in care so deeply. The whole way through this series I have been wishing I was one of the girls, enjoying lost hours calls, flocking all over the world. But I truly felt like one of the girls coming home to roost in this story.

A quick, easy, cute and uplifting read perfect for light reading after some heavy books. I loved the writing, loved the characters and loved the storyline. It was a great way to end the series and perhaps the authors best book yet I loved it.

Having read Georgia’s previous books in this lovely series I was really pleased to finally have the chance to both read Lily’s story and see how it all ends. Lily is a brilliant strong character, a respected hard worker and a fantastic friend but with a fragile side to her which comes across so well, I really enjoyed both her and Henry’s perspectives and how each of their interactions impacted on the other not to mention Victoria’s beautiful wedding. This is a lovely uplifting conclusion to a wonderful series.
