Exceptionally quick-read with the fun layer of Valentine's Day-lover with a Valentine's Day hater.
Amara and Val are paired together after both of their store are involved with a theft of jewelry from Val's store. The two form a sort of "neighbourhood-watch" to make sure the thief doesn't return. Quickly into the night, Amara realizes that Val isn't the casanova that the mall makes him out to seem. Val appreciates the inherent generosity that Amara seems to show everyone. When the mystery is solved, neither character is resolute on it being the ending of their relationship and both decide to take a chance on love.
To be honest, I'm not sure I'm qualified to give an adequate rating on the book as I seldom read novellas. I will say this: the book was quick, plot progressed in a sensical manner, had a few heart-warming moments, and wrapped up nicely, as a romance should.

I blitzed through this book over the weekend as I just could not get enough. Light and witty I enjoyed every second. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a short, fun read. Since it was a novella, the relationship moved fast but the dialogue was cute and the couple was engaging.

Valentines day. Amara an arcade owner who doesnt believe in love and Valentino the jewelry store owner next door who does. Amara and Valentino are neighbors in the mall, Amara owns a retro-style gaming arcade while Valentino owns a jewelry store. When Valentino’s store is robbed a few days before Valentine’s day circumstances bring the two neighbors together and they find that they just might be in for an adventure. Filled with cute sweet moments and an oppostie’s attract story, this was a adorable read!

I very much enjoyed this charming little romance. It's the sweet, amusing story of a jeweler and an arcade owner with side by side shops in the mall who have never actually met until his store gets robbed. Valentino and Mara are likeable characters and the epilogue to their heartwarming story is just perfect. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Perfect novella to put you in the mood for Valentine’s Day!
This was super cute and romcom goodness. The banter was witty and the characters were a lot of fun. I also liked the setting. The mall is something everyone knows and if you’ve worked in a mall (I have!) this is an extra special treat.
Super quick read too!

A cute short read.
Amara, an arcade owner, and avid gamer, and Valentino a jewellery store owner who believes in love. They've never met face to face until there's a break-in near valentines day.
I found this an entertaining read and I liked both MCs.
3.5 stars

A quick short romance.. Amara store is next door to Valentino in mall and when his jewelry store gets robbed before Valentine's day they team up to patrol the mall at night. If you like short and sweet this is for you. 2.5 stars

Such a fun story! The dynamic between Val and Mara has been done before, but still provided an enjoyable read. I just wish it was longer!

Mall You Need is Love is an enjoyable, cute, fun short story involving a jewellery maker and a retro arcade owner who isn't a fan of valentines day, but who is?
Yet, time spent with the smooth Val Rossi, a robbery, a racoon and a romantic proposal help Mara Hart to see that valentines day isn't so bad after all.
Would recommend.

Mall You Need Is Love is such a cute quick read. Mara is the owner of a gamer's paradise at the local mall.. Her work neighbor Valentino owns the jewelry store next door and has a reputation of being a Casanova based on the mall gossip. After a breakin Val and Mara meet and work together to patrol the mall. The dialogue between Val and Mara is probably one of my favorite things. I would normally say it was either to fast or to slow but I truly feel the pace of this book was perfect. The conversation flow shows that though their relationship builts over a short amount of time they both where are the right place in their lives at the right time. This quote says it best " • was fast. It was insane. It was completely out of character for anything she'd ever done before, but there was no doubt… this was right." I laughed along with the raccoons and cringe along with the confrontation over the delivery. Val had me believing in love and re-thinking my own jadiness with valentines day and gifts, "Sometimes a gift is the most intimate way someone can express themselves, and that's still valid. That has worth and merit, just like words and actions." Overall I enjoyed reading Mall You Need Is Love and would recommended it to a friend

This is a short, light story about two people who may have made incorrect assumptions about each other. Owners of neighboring businesses in a mall, Mara and Val are brought together by a robbery and, as they spend time together, they find they might have more in common than they thought.
This is sweet and low-angst, and the MCs are genuinely nice people that are easy to root for. The details about vintage video games are fun! It's a decidedly G-rated tale and would be a perfect break-time read for a nice, quick pick-me-up.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

A short fun read.
Mara and Val are owners of stores in the same Mall, and when Val's store is robbed, they are thrown together to try and stop any more break ins.
The book is set in the run up to Valentines Day, but will they fall for each other?

This is a very quick and easy read. The story felt very short to me, more like a novella than an actual novel.
Amara Hart is the owner of a mall arcade. Her store neighbor Val owns a jewel shop. After a mysterious power outage at Amara’s shop, it is discovered that Val’s store was robbed. After this, Amara and Val began doing the neighbor watch (or rather a Mall watch?) It’s though this connection that the two get cozy with each other. I loved the banter between the two MC’s. This story isn't spicy but it is romance.

A short and sweet valentines romance, great character development and storyline which was surprising for how short the book was

This super cute easy read was the perfect thing to read for a quick fix of romance and mystery. Amara owns an arcade in the mall and next door is the jewelry store owned by Val. Val has been known to call the arcade because their noise disrupts his business. One day a burglary occurs and while these two may butt heads a little at first the attraction is undeniable. As they set out to patrol their businesses the start to form a bond that leans towards friendship but with a little more. They both start to see more to the other and realize that they may have judged each other too quickly. As the mystery intensifies so does their chemistry but can Mara let Val in and will Val show her that love can be found even on the day she hates the most? Such a fun cute read that I loved.

This is a short cute romance story set in a shopping mall. Good characterisation and interaction between Val and Amara.

I really enjoyed this book by Sarah Robinson and would definitely recommend this to anyone. Job very well done.

Excellent novella by Sarah Robinson!
Great story line.
I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.

A cute, amusing novella with some nice characters and absolutely hilarious shop names…. This is a very straightforward romance story so one for those who are not looking for complexity in their reading,
