I rush without fail to devour every Marian Keyes book from Watermelon I have ached with laughter and love for the Walsh family and I think we all have a tender spot for Rachel.
They are all there and Rachel now a counsellor herself faces her biggest challenge since we last saw her.

It's been two weeks since I finished Again, Rachel and I'm still not ready to move on.

Marian Keyes returns us the world of the Walsh family 25 years after we first met Rachel in the stunning 'Rachel's Holiday'. I was really worried before reading this as the characters in all the previous Walsh family books have always been so real to me but this book absolutely does them justice.

Reading this felt like meeting up with old friends - ones you haven't seen for such a long time and when you do meet up you are left wondering how you managed so long without them.

The writing is exquisite, I found myself laughing and crying equal turns. Some of the subjects raised were really close to my heart and were dealt with so sensitively it was just beautiful.

It took me 2 days to read the last 10 minutes as a) I didn't want it to end and b) I was absolutely terrified it wouldn't be the ending I so wanted to happen. I needn't have worried - Marian Keyes has a gift for a happy ending.

Just gorgeous - I'm so sad it's over but so happy I read it. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

25 years of waiting for this sequel and Marian Keyes did not disappoint at all. Filled with laughter, wit and love this is Marian at her absolute best.

We find Rachel as Head counsellor at The Cloisters and this is perhaps where the best sections of the book are set. There are some absolutely beautiful conversations between this group of characters. The Walsh family as a whole are also in fine form and I love how they all just accept each others quirks.

I won't give away any plot spoilers but honestly this is perhaps now my favourite of Marian's books. Just perfect, again!

Loved and adored it, an absolute triumph! It was like meeting up with old friends and feeling like you'd only seen them a couple of days ago, a perfect mix of humour and relationships.

Oh my goodness, I'd forgotten how good a Marian Keyes book could be & even better, it was about Rachel Walsh! The Walshes are just great, such wonderful characters that I love. I want to be part of their family!
This book catches up with Rachel & her life as an addiction therapist at the Cloisters & the people she helps. The book delves into the process of therapy & the mainly positive results.
Rachel connects with Luke after his mother's funeral. So much unfinished business between them that needs to be discussed. All this is made more difficult by Rachel's boyfriend Quin & Luke's girlfriend Hallie. Not forgetting the added input from the Walsh women!
I've read all of Marian Keyes books & this has to be in my top three. I now want to reread them all & take myself into the remarkable world of Marian Keyes.

Much anticipated and did not disappoint. I reread Rachel's Holiday last week so the story was fresh in my mind, having left Rachel and Luke very much in love in New York. Moving on several years, to Rachel alone in Ireland, working at the Cloisters was a blow. Meeting all the Walshes again was "great gas", so good to see how they'd all developed and to meet some of the next generation. The ordinariness of family relationships is refreshing - teasing, supporting, fighting. I laughed and cried my way through the book and couldn't put it down. Worth the hype and just so good to find out what had happened to Rachel and Luke. Just fabulous!#netgalley #AgainRachel

'Again, Rachel' was a welcome return to the world of Rachel Walsh and her somewhat chaotic family. Rachel's life has moved onwards and upwards and she is in a good place, having dealt with many of the issues that featured in 'Rachel's Holiday'. She's now head counsellor at The Cloisters and is helping other people to confront their own addictions. In many ways, life is more simple and yet it gets so much more complicated...

This book was like catching up with an old friend and, as ever, Marian Keyes showed the joy and pain of life. One minute I was laughing and the next I was plunged into the difficult things of life that Rachel needed to deal with. And don't even get me started on her family!

You know to expect a great read with Marian Keyes that tackles, sometimes difficult, subjects with intelligence, compassion and humour. 'Again, Rachel' is a great return to the world of Rachel and the rest of the Walsh family.

Absolutely brilliant. I loved the character of Rachel from Rachel's Holiday and was worried I wouldn't love her as much 2nd time round, but I loved her even more. So interesting to see how she had grown up and what she had made of her life I laughed so much at all the family goings on with the Walshes. I cried at bits, I gasped with how well Marian had captured the emotions of experiences I had even through too. I was willing Rachel on throughout. An amazing ending and just overall an excellent read. Really enjoyed it 10 out of 10
