Audio review – good narrator who brough plenty of nuance to characters
Book review: I loved being back in the Iron Fey world again – Kagawa is a favourite. However, I found this slightly less engaging in terms of viewpoint character. So while I enjoyed the story and world, it didn’t resonate as strongly for me as previous books. I’m sure that’s a personal issue and no reflection on the book. (The sad reality is that I am very hit and miss with YA these days – I think I may now be properly outside the target audience.) However, it had plenty of zippy dialogue, great characters and a fun plot. If you like the Iron Fey series, definitely give this a try.
