Wow. What a roller coaster of a thriller. The best parts of the book is the fact that it talks about mental illness and PTSD. Too many times, we forget the impact that these events have on ourself and others. Being able to have multiple perspectives in this book, along with shocking turns has made this a top pick in my mind. If you enjoy reading about family drama, broken relationships, mental illness, and having no idea what will happen next, then you need to get this book!

I Will Find You by Amanda Rigby and Sally Rigby, is about 3 sisters (Ashleigh, Jessica, and Grace) who all have secrets. Ashleigh is an artist with a fly-by-night personality. She receives serious threats and then disappears. Her sister Jessica, begins searching for Ashleigh. Grace is not as eager to jump in because she is a half-sister and the family has never accepted her. Will Grace join the search? Will sisterly love conquer all and bring forgiveness between the 3 sisters or is Ashleigh dead?

This book is like driving down a curvy road in a snowstorm. You definitely can't see what's ahead. Sit back and enjoy some terrific cat fights along the way! I was engrossed in the story till the last two chapters which seemed to slip off the rails a little bit. I did figure out some of the ending, but not in the manner that it played out. It was a huge plot twist!

I Will Find You will be published March 15, 2022.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books, for allowing me to review this e-book. I appreciate it very much!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for a fair review.

Three sisters, all with secrets. Ashleigh is troubled by her dark past, Jessica's life looks perfect on the outside, but is built on lies and Grace, the half-sister was always on the outside. When Ashleigh goes missing Jessica and Grace do all they can do find her.

This is a very solid thriller, I read it in nearly one sitting. It's full of unpredictable twists and turns that kept me to the edge of my seat.

Thank you Netgalley, Amanda Rigby, and Boldwood Books for my gifted copy!

Synopsis:
When Jessica gets the call that her sister Ashleigh didn't pay her rent and is nowhere to be found, she isn't all that worried at first because that's just what Ashleigh does, isn't it? But then, she discovered a shirt stained with blood in Ashleigh's flat. Meanwhile, Ashleigh is on the run - from the past and somebody who's leaving her notes to remind her of what she did ...

My thoughts:
Overall, this book falls into the didn't love, didn't hate category. One the one hand, it was a fun, quick, and suspenseful read I finished in a day, but on the other hand, I probably won't remember anything about the main plot in a month or so. However, I LOVED the ending! I'm here for all the unreliable narrators, and it was very well executed with this one - I wouldn't have suspected anything of what was going on! Oh, and can we please take a moment to appreciate this beautiful cover?!

Parts of this book reminded me of:
- Perfect Strangers by Araminta Hall

This was my first book by this author, and I will definitely try more of hers!

This was one of those books that I’ve gone back and forth about whether I liked it. I struggled to connect to the characters and didn’t particularly care what happened to them, which didn’t help. The dialogue also felt quite wooden at times, and not natural.

I did like the pacing. We’re thrown right into the action and the protagonist’s search for her missing sister. It’s quite common in this genre for someone to be searching for someone else. However, as we got into the story, it was flipped on its head and that’s when the uniqueness of this book evolved.

Overall, even though I enjoyed the plot, not caring about the characters dampened my enjoyment of the book. And although the ending was satisfying, not connecting with the characters definitely reflects in my rating. Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author, for a chance to read and review this book.

The premise of this one sounded exciting; three sisters and a terrible secret. The eldest sister goes missing and the other two do all they can to find her. In the process, the family secrets are unearthed and their family comes apart at the seams. Are they they able to find Ashleigh before it’s too late?

Fair enough, but I was not expecting to feel so uncomfortable reading about content I wasn’t expecting. Our world today is full of triggers, most of them uncontrollable. When I sit down to some enjoyable reading time, I want the right to choose if I want to be subjected to the content. I want to feel validated. If you don’t mind reading about child abuse, self-harm, and addiction mixed in with reading about murder, suicide, lies, and hidden secrets, then you should be ok.

The multiple timelines and multiple points of view were handled well, as was the tension. The ending was excellent. The authors explored that oftentimes there is more to a happy family or perfect relationship than meets the eye.

Amanda Rigby is the nom de plume of the writing partnership between Amanda Ashby and Sally Rigby.

I was gifted this advance copy by the author duo, Boldwood Books and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review.

I Will Find You is a psychological thriller than encompasses a family with multiple layers of issues. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect as the book went along, routing for the main character despite her flaws, but found the ending to fall a little flat. Overall the book was a decent read but it has many CWs to be wary of before picking it up. Thank you Boldeood Books for the ARC on netgalley!

I did not see that ending coming! AT ALL!!! Its a quick read but It definitely had me hooked. I loved the twists and turns and as I said, I had absolutely no clue about the ending which was awesome!!! Its really well written and having it written from the perspectives of the 3 sisters, really gives you an insight into who they are and what drives them. It never gets choppy or confusing, it's all streamlined and each character has a distinct voice. So yeah, was really chuffed with this one and would definitely recommend!!

I Will Find You is a psychological thriller book that feels very real & raw as it deals with the complexities & realities of addiction, trauma & abuse. Then, it throws in a missing person & a murder amidst all the secrets & lies to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the book..
It involves a trio of sisters that are all hiding various secrets as they try to navigate their lives, including the aftermath from the death of their father from their younger years. Then one sister goes missing & there is also a murder. It switches points of view between the trio of sisters to give you an understanding of each, while it also leaves you with questions of who has done what & why?
All of their lives, circumstances & choices have created an Inter-tangled web of deceit & lies that then produces chaos of epic proportions.
Around 40% of the way through, my eyebrows shot up in surprise & my intrigue snowballed from there.
I was also surprised by the ending, which I always love. I appreciate not being able to figure it out.
Please check trigger warnings. This book deals with, mentions and/or contains addiction, self-harm, alcoholism, suicide & sexual abuse.

Massive thanks & appreciation goes out to NetGalley & Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. I will post my review on Goodreads, Instagram & TikTok. & I will post on Amazon after publication!

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC!

I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Docked a star as the characters felt underdeveloped and the book felt a little rushed, but otherwise I loved it.

Well written.
I'm conflicted about how to rate I Will Find You because it's definitely a page turner, though at times this thriller/mystery veers into salacious (but PG rated, which this reader appreciated) territory for what seems to be no reason other than being salacious.
This could easily have been a five star if the characters had been a little better developed. It felt rushed.. A bit repetitive: Jessica always worried about her perfect family cracking, Henry angry about Jessica's sister...the dad's misdeeds (don't want to give the story away).
I know many of our customers will love this book, and there is a large audience for it that will love it as is. For me, it's a three star, however, I'll happily recommend it for our thriller/mystery audience.
