I really appreciated this guide and plan to refer to it often. I think it can feel a little overwhelming to start with NG but this certainly helps me feel more confident. I thought it was really well laid out and easy to follow. I hope to be able to find my way in this new part of my reading journey.

NetGlalley's Book Advocate Toolkit has everything you need to become a great reviewer on all platforms of todays busy internet highways. This toolkit explains the do's and don'ts of writing a review. There are suggestions for what the publishers are looking for, how to keep your reading ratio at a good level so the publishers will choose you for the book you want to read. If you are looking for ways to become an advocate on social media platforms, there are several pages of information about that too. These are just a few tips and tricks from this informative toolkit. I liked the information on writing reviews especially because I needed an update on reviewing. I would recommend reading this if you are thinking of joining the NetGalley universe of reading and reviewing or starting your own social media platform. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to review this title.

Good especially for people that have little experience on social media platforms starting out. I had never used instagram before starting reviewing books and this was a good first step into what makes a profile attractive and what beginners can do

Lots of great tips on how to get started on NetGalley! I've been a member technically since 2015(-ish?) but fell victim to requesting a billion books whilst on my last year of medical school, so I completely tanked my feedback ratio and it was pretty abysmal for a time since the books had been archived and I didn't have them downloaded.

I've since been on a reading spree this year and sought out several of those books from 2015 at local libraries so things are better now! This guide includes helpful tips on writing book reviews, sharing on social media, what to include in your profile, content planning tips, and even what platform might be best suited for you as far as sharing reviews go. (As you may be able to tell, I tend to be more verbose, so blogging/Goodreads = where it's at for me..)
