NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is an comprehensive and fun way to get started with NetGalley. I loved the quick blurbs, and tips on each page making it easy to look back and re-read sections. I enjoyed how each social media channel and tool had its own page to delve into each topic individually. The colours and layout were great, very eye catching. The tips and tricks were immensely helpful for both long time reviewers and new reviewers..
Thank you Netgalley for this book advocate toolkit!

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit, breaks down the Do’s and Don’ts of book reviewing into an easy to read guide. It contains tips on how to promote books on many social media platforms..
As someone starting out on NetGalley I found it so useful. I’ve been promoting books that I read on social media for many years now and this answered a number of unanswered questions I had about posting reviews.
Thank-you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for sharing this useful book.
This is a good guide on how to manage the complete Netgalley as a member. Be it reviewing or reading or sharing feedbacks through here to any other linked accounts.
Well I have learned a lesson! Read this before you start requesting books. Now that I have read this guide I have learned to be very thoughtful about my requests. To be honest I started requesting a few books because I was uncertain if I would be approved. Thankfully I have been given access to a number of books and therefore can utilize the tips and suggestions in this toolkit. So don’t make my mistake and go read this now!
I found this toolkit very useful and insightful! I will definitely be implementing some of the tips given in this book!

NetGalley and We Are Bookish came up with this handy toolkit for all reviewers diving into the magical world of books! Tiny tips and tricks for the best approach for each social media platform are what any beginner needs (and can serve as a quick refresher course for experienced reviewers, with a bunch of helpful information easy to skim through).
This toolkit was super helpful! As someone getting started reviewing, this helped me figure out what was necessary for each platform. It covers all the major social media platforms and provides platform-specific explanations. This toolkit will give you a good foundation for reviewing. I’d recommend anyone getting started to give this a read.
Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this great resource!
This toolkit is one of those things I wish I had read when I was first doing research on starting a Bookstagram. The creators did a wonderful job touching on a wide breadth of topics while still providing a good amount of actionable advice. Also, the layout of the information made it very easy to skim and find what I was looking for. I've been Bookstagramming for a little while now so I've already come across much of the content included. However, I would absolutely share this guide with anyone who is new to reviewing books!
Very helpful resource for NetGalley book reviewers. It was easy to understand and the blog links were useful tools.
This was a helpful quick overview of the many ways one can review books. I think this would be most beneficial for someone just getting started. I really appreciated the tips and links to more content for each topic so I could go down any 'rabbit holes' I wanted to. Thank you NetGalley for providing this to reviewers!
This was very helpful. Some information I knew, but some information I definitely did not and was doing wrong. I can’t wait to put this book to use! I advise anyone who reviews books to give this a go.
This is super helpful. I highly recommend it for NetGalley users! I especially like the tip breakdown by account type.
Thank you so much NetGalley and We Are Bookish for providing this resource for those of us who are getting started on here!
The NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a very short read, filled with a lot of informative tips and tricks. I love that it is very thorough yet concise. It provides help for anyone who are interested in reviewing and spreading the book love on multiple platforms.
Since I focus on Instagram as my main platform to share my review's the Toolkit had a whole section on how to post and share reviews successfully on IG.
Really great resource for anything who are trying to figure out ways to share their book reviews and how to navigate NetGalley!

I do not have any constructive criticism at this time, but I believe as I continue to work on reviews, I will have some helpful tips to add.

Thanks to Netgalley for giving me this eARC in exchange for my honest review. I really liked this toolkit. It has a lot of useful information regarding how to work Netgalley presented in a fun and entertaining way. My only wish is that it was around when I first started on this website as it would have definitely helped! If you are new to Netgalley, I highly suggest you pick up this book to learn how to further promote books., give book reviews and cultivate your status as a book influencer.
This provided me with many tips on how to write better reviews. I kind of just jumped in and then realized I should do more research on how to be a better reviewer.
The toolkit is a great read for new and established content creators and NetGalley users. Loads of great Dos and Don'ts are included throughout the toolkit that provide platform specific best practices as well as best practices for overall content creation.
I think this is the perfect resource for users just starting out and exisiting creators/reviewers that are looking to stay up to date on what works well for their platform of choice. It is packed with tips for NetGalley newbies and creators looking to create the best content possible for their brand. I highly recommend reading through the toolkit and finding actionable takeaways to help improve your content creation.
If you’re on Netgalley, or thinking about it, this is the first book you should download and read. There are guidelines on types of members, how to take your reviews to the next level, FAQs on who approves you as a reader/reviewer, and more. There is also information on the difference between “Read Now” books and the other ones where you have to ask for approval. Keeping your Feedback Ration at 80% and above is crucial to getting approvals.
You’ll also learn how to give a review that actually works, how to tag publishers, how to use social media outlets, videos, blogs, and Goodreads. No, you don’t have to use all this, but there are guidelines for the things you do use.
Recommendation: Do yourself and the publishers a favor and read over these guidelines. I’ve been on Netgalley almost since the beginning and I learned some things I never knew. Definitely recommended.
A great tool to read and have for a newer reviewer! Glad NetGalley provides resources like these! Diagrams are easy to follow and engaging. Glad to have this on my shelf.
