This booklet provides information on how reviewers can reach wider audiences and receive more books via NetGalley. It is published by NetGalley's team via their We Are Bookish blog/newsletter. It was a good guide to quick questions that new reviewers may have and includes overviews of book/social media engagement such as youtube, goodreads, or tiktok. It was recently published but may need consistent updates to follow social media trends.

Super helpful guide for getting started with NetGalley and maximizing the benefits for everyone involved, for you as a reader and reviewer and for the author. Anyone interested in using NetGalley will benefit from reading this. Though I've been using NetGalley for about 18 months, I learned a lot. Thanks, NetGalley, for developing this useful resource!

A great beginners guide for maximising the use of netgalley and social media site. The most helpful section was on how to create reviews that will draw readers to your sites. The authors advise that this is a live document and that it will be updated as things change.

Most of the content in this guide was a fairly basic introduction to using NetGalley, but I did learn a little bit more about what publishers are looking for in profiles and in reviews. Most importantly, I didn't realize the "free copy" disclaimer was required - oops! (That should have been much clearer on the site as a whole, though.)
The layout was visually appealing and easy to read. Overall, I could see this being good as a mandatory first book for every new member, but I found it less helpful as an experienced reviewer.

This is a fantastic and beautiful guide to getting started seriously working with NetGalley. It's full of tips form the general, such as how to write a review and keep up with your NetGalley requests, to the very specific, such as how to tag well on TikTok and Twitter. I took notes while reading this on specific things to help kickstart 1000 WAYS OUT, my new book blog, and I've saved the PDF for future rereads when I need tips.
