This book advocate toolkit was so much more helpful and educational than I expected it to be - I suppose my expectations were low, because most online guides I've come across are so basic that I don't learn much. This was the opposite experience - this toolkit covered pieces of information I've not spent much time thinking about and gave me some fantastic ideas for how to plan content for bookstagram, as well as choosing hashtags AND designing posts. My favorite section of this toolkit was the page discussing do's and don'ts of accessibility - I learned so much about what type of text isn't friendly to screen readers, and I'm excited to utilize this newfound knowledge going forward with my bookstagram adventures.

This short ebook was a very quick read. But, for being short, it had a lot of good tips for sharing content and staging photos!

This was an excellent resource outlining advice and tips for book reviewing. The text is clear and easy to read, and the page designs were eye catching.

What I liked the best about this book is that, not only does it provide clear advice on how to write your reviews, but it also goes into some great depth on expanding your reviewing style on a bunch of different social media sites. With tips for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, this book covers a lot of ground in not too many pages.

A great source of information for any one wanting to expand their reviewing presence on the internet.

This toolkit was very helpful in introducing how to use netgalley! I especially liked how it helped show what publishers were looking for when setting up your account! Huge help!

I found the kit very helpful and friendly, everything was explained in detail and I found the details about social media interesting, as well as the things publishers may want to see. Personally what I loved the most was the tips for members, i.e. how to set your profile in a more professional way.

Really great and very helpful kit for anyone reviewing "DRC's". When I first joined the information was available, but this book actually hones into the essential tips and information. a practical format.

As a new NetGalley member and a new book reviewer, this 32 page toolkit was very helpful.

It gave helpful tips for Social Media and book blogs and advised on how best to create a review and your platform. I like how short it is and how attention grabbing.it is.

I do wish that it had links like it seemed to try to add so that I could actually click on the "find more ____ here"

I wil definitely be using this toolkit in the future and very much recommend for anyone who wants advice on curating your book reviewing platform.

As a relatively new book reviewer, and new NetGalley member; I found this toolkit to be an amazing resource. Not only did it help me navigate NetGalley, build my profile and help me get approved for my first three titles, it prepared me to review these titles and how to approach my review process. The tools included for blogging, social media and how to effectively manage your time as a book advocate were so helpful. I plan to continue to use this toolkit throughout my book advocate journey and would recommend it highly to anyone starting their journey as well. This toolkit really does justice to its name! Netgalley has always been the spokesperson for book advocates and this toolkit is everything a newbie or experienced book advocate could ask for. It's just 32 pages but covers book blogs and all social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube - briefly, with further links attached to their member blog We Are Bookish. If you're looking to up your game as a book advocate, just starting or wanting to try out a new platform, this toolkit is a saving grace. Will be making sure I save this one for future use!

By far the best toolkit for bookstagrammers, book bloggers, book lovers, etc! I do not think I will write a review without pulling up a copy of this toolkit from now on.

I started my bookstagram/signed up for NetGalley about two years ago. I wasn’t gaining many followers or receiving any arcs. After creating some more constant content, and researching/updating the best way to set up my profile on NetGalley last fall, I have seen a change to both! Within the last few months, my follower count has significantly gone up and I have received my first arcs!

Since I am used to just taking pictures of books and doing fun quick reviews on Goodreads, I pulled up this toolkit for help on writing better reviews. This 31-page pdf has helped me shape the way I write reviews, use apps like Canva, and just had a bunch of great tips!

If you want to create a book account, I recommend this toolkit 100%!
