What an incredibly helpful and comprehensive guide! I'm a long time #bookstagrammer but took a step back from the space last year and am now getting back into it. This guide was full of helpful reminders and new to me tips about how to engage, create, and advocate for books. It really motivated me to start creating content and sharing about the books that I love!

This is an extremely helpful guide and reference book for those like me who are fairly new to NetHalley and bookish social media in general. I'm sure it's a book I will refer to again and again! Great idea!

This kit is filled with simple yet insightful tips on topics like polishing up your NetGalley profile, refining your book reviews, and promoting them on social media. Even though much of it isn’t new for me, since I’m an experienced reviewer who’s been hosting his own blog since the end of 2018 and his own podcast since March of 2021, I appreciated what it had to offer nonetheless. However, I’ve recently gotten involved in Bookstagram and have been trying to figure it out, so the kit’s Bookstgram tips were helpful in that sense. Make sure you check this out if you’re looking to fine-tune your own book reviews.

This will be a particularly helpful tool for new netgalley members. As a long-time member, i was hoping to gain greater understanding of the publishers’ selection process, but did not learn any new specifics (other than increasing my viability on social media).

I am new to NetGalley and leaving official reviews. I have been an avid reader for decades leaving reviews here and there on other platforms, but when I heard about NetGalley I knew that it was something I really wanted to participate in. NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit was extremely helpful in giving tips and tricks to get started.

The book itself is easily downloadable and only 31 pages long. Inside you will not find long winded paragraphs on what you should and should not do. Instead, it is filled with creative quirky pages in a pleasing design. Word bubbles and checklists make consuming the various tips easy to read and understand.

Overall I found the tips very useful and will be employing them in future reviews.

Very helpful tips for anyone who is new to NetGalley. Highly recommended to anyone who is starting their book review journeys!

Interesting read with good feedback tips but wish it had been available on my kindle. There are lots of ideas on writing reviews and publicising your work - all of which help out the authors and the publishers as well as improving the reach of your blog etc.

I’ve been reviewing books on Goodreads for years, but I’m new to NetGalley. I appreciated this short, super helpful guide to starting out on NetGalley and for reviewing books in general. I thought the tips for members and the info on feedback ratios were particularly helpful. I also loved that there were tips specific to several different book reviewing platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, blogs). I’ll definitely be referring back to this guide as I move forward with book reviewing!

Wow--what a great tool and resource for Netgalley beginners and older users who need a refresh. I truly enjoyed the easy to read formatting of each section and the breakdown of each medium that I could use to post reviews.
