This was a highly-informative, easy-to-read toolkit for me as a book reviewer. It give snapshots of really helpful information as well as infographics, dives into specific social media platforms and best practices when sharing book reviews and other bookish content on each, and expands upon how to write a solid review.

Some of the information was a given to me, but I learned so much and especially appreciated its tips and tricks for taking bookish content to the next level on my social platforms.

This is a short e-book that is styled like an extended infographic. It gives pointers on reviewing books on NetGalley, as well as on a separate blog, Goodreads, and various social media platforms.

It's succinct and colorful, with some good ideas and links. Highly recommend, if you're just getting into being a reviewer... or if you're looking to expand to new platforms.

Great tips. I love the social media sections that give insight into how to use hashtags on different platforms. Though, I have fallen prey to the request spree that this guide warns against.

This is extremely helpful and has given me more information on how to better write my reviews. I’ve often struggled with getting my thoughts cohesive and on how to best summarize a book I’ve read. I’ve been fairly clueless on how to establish a name for myself, usually relying on trial & error. I won’t have to do that anymore and I now look forward to using what I’ve learned to better my reviews.

A helpful guide to the reviewer on Netgalley. I found out a lot of new things, but being a non-techie a little harder to implement. Thank you for explaining many things.

What I liked that each stage had the Dos n Don't highlight, make it clear for everyone to understand.

My fav . Part about the book was its designing and page layouts. Gave me a feel of Journaling 😄

This is an excellent resource if you are just starting out in book reviewing. It is full of helpful advice for platforms from blogging to video reviews to traditional reviewing. This is an invaluable resource that I very much expect to continue to refer back to as I learn and grow as a reviewer.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a wonderful guide created by We Are Bookish, NetGalley's member blog. The PDF version is 31 pages and is a great resource for both new and veteran NetGalley members regarding how to best utilize the site to your advantage.

This guide includes various tips for topics including: the NetGalley platform, writing reviews, promoting reviews, formatting reviews, social media, and strategizing so your review finds the maximum amount of viewers. I appreciated the format of this guide; the design work and images are wonderful! Throughout this guide, there are links for even further information, though everything listed in the document is already very helpful.

I know I will personally be using these suggestions in building up my bookish social media presence, along with keeping note of the hashtags that the publishers list on NetGalley with each book.

Very helpfull! I'm not a newbie but I often find myself struggling when I'm reviewing a book, since I find reviewing in English (not my first language) too challenging. This guide has been very helpful, includes a lot of tips for every platform and it's very visual and easy to follow and apply.
