Helpful leaflet for starting your reviewer journey. It's very focused on social media platforms, with tips and tricks. I am more of a Goodreads reviewer, but it was a nice read.

Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
“NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit” by We Are Bookish (2022) is a highly relevant guide to writing reviews, publishing them on social media, and marketing your book content. NetGalley members will find themselves bookmarking endlessly as they follow the links provided for more information.
As someone who considers themself a social media newbie, this guide includes a lot of tips that I’d like to implement. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised with the format. Tips are kept short, color is used amply, and there are headings! Between all of that and the use of bullet lists, this is a very ADHD-friendly read.
I highly recommend this book to those who do book reviews and want to up their social media game. I also would recommend this book for book-related content creators to use as reference to check how they’re doing. It does include comments on accessibility that serve as nice gentle reminders to consider how to post content that is accessible to most people.
A really helpful guide for getting started in reading and reviewing advanced reader copies of novels through NetGalley.
Very helpful! Thanks so much to NetGalley for this handy guide.

This toolkit was extremely helpful! I have been a part of NetGalley for almost 2 years and am always looking for ways to be a better advocate for authors. I can't wait to implement more of these tips & tricks into my reviews.
This was a very informative and helpful on a journey to writing and requesting ARC. It broke it down with well written and understanding instructions on how to use Netgalley. It definitely gave me tips to improve and do better on my future with ARC books and this website.

The NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a great way to get started on your NetGalley journey. There are many tips on what to do/not do as you build your profile, begin to request books and what to do once you have completed your reading. Highly recommend starting here before anything else!
This is an extremely helpful toolkit! Loved reading this and I will be forwarding this on to other people.
as a new netgalley reviewer, the guide was very practical and enlightening. i will definitely use it as an ongoing resource. . i am not on social media so there was a big portion that did not apply to me but i'm sure is very worthwhile for those who are going that route. thank you for this toolkit.
What a helpful tool for someone like me who is just starting out.
It provides you with plenty of information without overwhelming you. The use of links really added extra depth to the guidance.
Definitely one that I’m going to be referring back to regularly.
Wow! That was just perfect.
This guide covers everything you need to know about getting started with Netgalley, writing reviews, and the dos and don'ts of social media. The content is very well organised. What I liked was that it was presented in a very cute yet minimalist graphic and organised into bullet points or straight to the point. The cool thing is that for each section, there's always a link to a Netgalley blog article that goes into more detail. So if you need more information on certain topics, you can dive in there.
One other thing worth noting: I really enjoyed reading this guide as a PDF on my smartphone, thanks to its easy-to-read formatting (the text never gets too small!) and its brevity (32 pages). It was the first time I had enjoyed reading something on the Netgalley app or on my smartphone.
Thank you, Netgalley, for writing such a useful and practical guide to getting started with your platform. I was especially grateful to learn more about social etiquette, as the information I found online was often a bit contradictory. For example, I didn't know that I could tag the publisher in negative reviews. I was always afraid to do that.
Highly recommended for any Netgalley user, from the newbie to those who get caught up in the requests and end up overwhelmed with ARCs to review.
As a new bookstagrammer, and as one who wants to start using NetGalley on a regular basis, this booklet was extremely helpful. The advice given was amplified with useful links to additional information. The simple, easy-to-read format was also appreciated, so I could learn useful tips quickly and easily.
The NetGalley's book advocate tool kit is packed with tips to help you succeed! It is very convenient and concise. I appreciate the links for further details on the subject matter. I don't currently post to the social media platforms but in the future if I decide to I will definitely utilize this book's tips in those areas to successfully navigate the process. Thank you for this helpful information for beginners like me.
The Booktube/BookTok section in this toolkit is probably going to be the most helpful to me because I really would like to get into those sort of reviews.
The social media section as well was helpful as honestly, social media is hard to figure out on its own - let along social media with a purpose!
It also made me think that I may want to start my own separate blog to track my reading adventures, something that I've been thinking about for a while but never had a true reason to. Perhaps now I do...
I will definitely keep this book at hand for the various tips and tricks that are within the pages.
The book advocate toolkit offered valuable advice about where and how to review books. I will be continuously returning to this toolkit for reference information.
I was pleased with how thorough this book describes different topics from writing a review to posting on social media. The tips are short and sweet with links that expand on the information. If you are someone that wants to review ARCs, start a booktok, or even a blog I highly recommend this book.
