This Toolkit is a great resource for those, like myself, who are new to NetGalley and want to learn the ins and outs of reviewing and feedback. The layout and graphic design is great and I appreciate the specific bullet points to pinpoint the most important information. I also appreciated that many of the tips and advice can be used throughout multiple social media platforms, as well as specific tips for each platform and format of review. This toolkit really demonstrates NetGalley's wish for reviewers to have a successful experience using their website.

I am new to NetGalley and this guide provides useful information for reviewers like myself, such as how to to engage with publishers, write meaningful reviews and maintain a good feedback ratio.

The guide also includes helpful tips for those who engage with the book community through their social media. Personally, I only review on Goodreads and consumer websites such as Amazon UK and Waterstones and engage with the bookish community on Discord, but it is reassuring to know that I have resources should I choose to establish a bookish social media presence.

I have downloaded copies on both my laptop and phone to refer back to as and when needed.

Super insightful and a great tool to help set up your bio and format your reviews. I appreciated that it didn’t just focus on tips for NetGalley but for other media platforms as well! I think this should be automatically on Your Shelf when a person initially signs up for NetGalley.

This little toolkit was actually extremely helpful. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I really love this set. I printed it out and have it at the ready in my office and have started implementing information from it. I would love more things like this to continue to improve my practice.

This Kit definitely exceeded my expectations. The part I most liked about this Kit was the various dos and don'ts included here.

This Kit is divided into 4 parts- NetGalley Tips, Book Reviews, Bookish Social Media and Strategizing. NetGalley Tips introduces you to how you can use it at its full potential. It provides details on Member Types, Book Requesting, Feedback Ratio and some Tips for Members. Book Reviews includes tips on writing Reviews, promoting them and Review Formats. Bookish Social Media guides you on how to get started on various Social Media Sites and the dos and don'ts for them. Strategizing gives details on Content Planning, Hashtags and Accessibility.

People who are new to NetGalley and to the Book Review world will definitely be the most to benefit from this. I will definitely recommend readers to read this Kit before starting their Book Review Journey.

However, there were a few things that I cannot do like Audiobooks.

As a newbie to NetGalley, I must admit that I was initially overwhelmed. While I've always enjoyed reading books and sharing my thoughts through reviews, I never realized that there were specific guidelines to follow in order to provide a thorough and meaningful critique. The concise, easy-to-read list of do's and don'ts was especially valuable to me as a beginner, as it helped me to better understand how to craft reviews that would benefit both publishers and readers.

From giving tips to new members on how to properly write a review, to helping choose the right platform, these are the examples the toolkit will provide. It also lists several tips for each platform, including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Youtube. Additionally, it provides tips on content planning, hashtags to use, which are greatly helpful for those who regularly review books and promote their social media.

I am very grateful for this toolkit. I feel much more confident in my ability to provide quality feedback on the books I read through NetGalley. A clear and concise pictorial booklet aimed at the reviewer within the NetGallery framework.
The toolkit is intended to provide tips at optimising platform use, e.g., blogs, vlogs, and social media, but does provide some crucial information on reviewing methodologies. The pictures are well illustrated and explains the associated text well. The use of bullet point lists further improves knowledge retention. A very useless introduction to NetGallery.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a visual tool for new and longtime members for navigating NetGalley, book reviews, and Bookish social media platforms, The toolkit uses links for the user navigating the contents as well as extras. The toolkit sets out exactly what it does - guide users.

How can you develop the content of the book reviews ? How are you going to be a talented book influencer ? Find out when you read Net-Galley’s Book Advocate Toolkit.
The structure of this toolkit is really well organised while providing information under relatable and concise categories with easy flow. It provides links for more ideas. This is visually attractive, colourful and creative. The language is simple which supports quick understanding and memorability. “Find your voice” (p.11) is one of my favourite quotes of the booklet which empowers me even today.
This has the style of a picture book and a guide book, and it provides a very positive vibe. This book will help many book reviewers and book influencers to thrive in this field by their useful, honest, sincere tips. This is an enjoyable read too. I wish I had these type of “short note type” books when we were schooling.
I would have liked to see more details about downloading the books.
Considering everything I have said, I rate Net-Galley’s Book Advocate Toolkit 5 out of 5 stars. All book reviewers, book influencers and all Net-Galley members whom are interested in levelling up their activities and outcomes in this field are the ones I recommend reading this guide.
