There's lots of useful information, not just on using NetGalley and writing book reviews but on utilizing other social media like YouTube, Instagram, etc. as well. NetGalley’s Book Advicate Kit is a very useful and comprehensive guide for writing reviews. It outlines some guidance on which platforms you may wish to use, how to write a good book review, dos and dont’s, among many other tips. The layout of the guide is also well thought out, which makes it easier to read. This is an excellent guide for people that are new to reviewing books. Thanks!

This is a wonderful beginners guide to Netgalley and I wish I had it when I was starting out. Maybe make it like a Tom on Myspace or the U2 album and have it preloaded on the Netgalley app. I think a lot of new users would find it helpful.

This is an easy to read pamphlet on how to make the most out of social media for NetGalley reviews. The design is clear and appealing. I found some interesting and helpful tips. The follow up links like for example for Canva proved valuable. I would recommend this to any NetGalley reviewer.

I was overwhelmed plowing through all the information in NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit. It is a cornucopia of review-writing ideas and tools; however, it can also be described as a firehose introduction to NetGalley. In my busy life it is hard enough to find time to read, much less to consider all the avenues, sites, bells, and whistles for expressing my opinions and recommendations. I could have been selective and scanned the table of contents for the few vehicles I intended to use for my reviews, OR the toolkit could be organized with a simple assessment tool to send readers to the pages aligned with their personal objectives and media skill sets. If I was a natural born internet citizen, rather than an online immigrant, I'm sure I would be delighted with all the options presented in the tool kit. It has an attractive design and is chock full of links and references. However, I must admit that the Toolkit is also intimidating to a new NetGalley member like me, even though I am the author of three non-fiction and three fiction books.
