This is a book that once I picked up, it totally consumed me. I ended up reading it in one evening as I was so absorbed by what was in front of me and I had to see how everything was going to end… An absolute must-read!

Four murders and Ruby only killed three.

This is a great novel with hints of You by Kepnes. Unlike typical serial killer novels, Ruby is quite likeable and through her descriptions you can see how she was in a position to kill three people. While this was a good read, the end of the book was too rushed and didn't tie up any of the loose ends.As a type one diabetic, this book was pretty close to accurate, which I haven't seen in a book before.

Blood Sugar is a must read for this summer!

We follow Ruby, as she is being accused of having murdered her husband. Ruby ofcourse is innocent of this crime, however, she has killed 3 times before.

The book was fantastic, I connected very well with Ruby and really loved reading her thoughts

This is the story of Ruby's life and the murders she commits. She is then accused of murdering her husband, although she didn't, and has to prove her innocence. This is a very enjoyable book, Ruby is a likeable character, and her murders seem quite reasonable from her description. It is also a story of friendships and karma, and how acts of kindness will bring rewards eventually. The writing is lovely, even the darkest subjects are infused with humour. Recommended.

Such a blast! Perfect escapist fiction… Ruby Simon is arrested for the murder of the one person she DIDNT kill…. The other 3 she can’t say the same for! A villain that you’ll root for throughout. Perfect if you loved Bella Mackies How to kill your family ( which I did..) , killing eve etc etc. A great female character, good plot, and page turning writing. The perfect combination

OH MY GOSH I loved this book. It was well written with a gripping storyline and well developed characters, especially the protagonist who is beyond flawed but really endearing for that reason. It was mysterious, suspenseful, twisty and unpresdictable. I couldn't put it down. I loved it.

Ruby is in an interrogation room. In front of her are four pictures, believed by the Police to represent the four people who Ruby has killed. However, Ruby is adamant this isn't true, it can't possibly be......because Ruby has only killed three people.

With a premise like that, how can this book be anything other than thrilling? We are taken between the police interview room and Ruby's life growing up as we come to understand what led to her carrying out these three (or four?) deaths.

The writing is fantastic and the character of Ruby is so complex that even despite her many flaws you will come to love her and hate her in equal measure.....but one thing she will never do is bore you!

Sinfully Entertaining…
We first encounter Ruby in an interrogation room. Under suspicion of murder. Four photographs in front of her. Four deaths. One of them is her husband’s. Ruby is under suspicion of murder. The reader knows that Ruby is guilty of three of the deaths. Will it be the fourth death, the one that she is not guilty of, which will ironically be the death of her? The reader is swiftly pulled into Ruby’s backstory from her first murder at the tender age of five and onwards. Packed with Ruby’s musings and enlightenments this is a cleverly written, compulsive and sinfully entertaining read with a uniquely unreliable narrator.

A ROLLERCOASTER.
Ruby is not a sociopath. She is an animal-loving therapist with a thriving practice. She’s felt empathy and sympathy. She’s had long-lasting friendships and relationships, and has a husband, Jason, whom she adores. But the homicide detectives at Miami Beach PD are not convinced of her happy marriage. When we meet Ruby, she is in a police interrogation room, being accused of Jason’s murder. Which, ironically, is one murder that she did not commit, though a scandal-obsessed public believes differently. As she undergoes questioning, Ruby’s mind races back to all the details of her life that led her to this exact moment, and to the three dead bodies in her wake. Because though she may not have killed her husband, Ruby certainly isn’t innocent.
I inhaled it.
