This is my first time reading something by this author so I really didn't know what to expect when I picked this up. The story flowed nicely and the characters were interesting and fun. Audrey and Ty were likable and relatable characters and I enjoyed getting to know them and follow their story. The story was engaging and held my interest all the way through. As with all good stories, there is a bit of drama along with the romance but it all comes to a satisfying conclusion at the end. This was a sweet and fun, romance with endearing characters that's sure to put a smile on your face. An easy and enjoyable read with a clean romance story, and I am happy to have had the opportunity to review.

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

⛲Better start than finish🤔

3.5-4 🌟 stars
The start of this sweet and squeaky love story was really cute and believable and I loved the Tuscan setting for the unfolding of the unexpected romance between two strangers. Lead characters Audrey and Ty are very likable; their unfortunate separation made me feel for them and eager to read on to learn if and how they refind each other.

I just felt the end of the story after five years has passed was not as good as the beginning, with Audrey changing her attitude toward Ty so dramatically and so quickly after learning he had not filled her in about his true circumstances. Maybe the change from an Italian to a domestic, California setting was also a part of the lessening of my enjoyment. And, at a certain point, the story continued after a two-week gap and I wondered why the gap? I think the events of the missing weeks should have been included in the story rather than hinted at.

Thanks to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

I wish to thank NetGalley and Books Go Social Publishers for allowing me to read an advanced copy of this book. I have voluntarily read and reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What a delightfully fun to read book this is! I started reading it and read it cover to cover in one day. So when you pick this one be prepared to do nothing the rest of the day. It begins with Audrey chaperoning a high school group on a multi-national tour of Europe. When they get to Florence she meets a handsome young man and they spend some time together. All she knows about him is his first name and that he is from Boston. You will have to read it to find out what happens and I assure you this is a story that does not disappoint. The characters and settings are beautifully described and developed in such a way that you feel you have always known them. If you like light reading this one is for you no matter where in life you are, or your age.

An engaging and charming romance. It is light, clean, predictable, and entertaining. I look forward to reading the more about the Gable Sisters. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

Absolutely loved this story about the one that got away and second chances. The only thing I wanted different was it to last longer. I loved the characters. This was my first book to read by Tessa Pemberley and I will be reading more!

A little juvenile and the format of the texts is confusing, along with a number of grammatical errors, but overall it was a nice read, although I did find myself skipping over areas to simply read the dialogue. I read it in one day, though it still felt a little long.

A chance meeting. A painful separation. A second chance at happily ever after. This novel, and its unforgettable characters, know no boundaries. To read this book is to laugh, to mourn, to learn, and to grow…. Brimming with joy and packed with a sparkling cast of characters. Charming and compelling…

Audrey Gable never had time for love and romance as she is the oldest of seven sisters. She is always orderly and practical. On a trip to Europe after graduating from college, Audrey meets a handsome stranger on the streets of Florence and is swept off her feet. After an unfortunate accident that forces her to cut her trip short before she has time to learn his last name, she continues to think about him even five years later. She throws herself into her interior design business and starts to date someone. Her world is upended when a mysterious billionaire hires her to redecorate a luxury beach house and she finds out that it is her lost love. This is a fun rom com that I recommend.

This is a great book. The two main characters are Audrey and Ty. They meet while Audrey is with a tour group in Italy. They don’t exchange last names or phone numbers. They meet up some years later. Audrey is an interior designer and Ty is a football coach and billionaire. They have some problems from a boyfriend, a noisy sister,to information that not given, and to decorating a house without knowing the owner. They work everything out and fall in love.

This was a sweet story about first and true love. The gimmick involving the sisters' names was cute. The heroine was relatable and the object of her affection is what every girl might secretly long for: a rich Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet.

I loved this book about 2nd chances, lost first loves, and close families. Our couple had misunderstandings, sizzling chemistry, and family members to deal with, but it was a lovely well developed story of the perfect length. My only complaint is the author kept forgetting our heroine’s sisters names as they kept charging throughout. It started with the twins being called Grace and Ginger with the dog Frank, then there was no dog and the twins were called Frances and Grace, then it went back to Grace and Ginger, so all very confusing and a bit distracting. I really enjoyed the story though so will be looking out for the next in the series

This was a nice story of really boy next door type of romance. An accidental billionaire and the girl across the valley who helped her family unselfishly when needed. Abandoning her dreams.
Nicely and accurately written, with good grammar and style.
Ènjoyable in its genre.

Really sweet and clean love story. I love a good story about a chance meeting, missed connection, a reconnection and a HEA.

This was a light, quick read. Truthfully, I saw most of the plot points coming from a mile away, but romcoms do tend to follow a formula. It wasn’t terribly believable but I still enjoyed it.

(I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.)
