Second Star To The Left was provided to me by Megan Van Dyke and City Owl Books. This was one of my favorite reads so far. The humor was funny, the sarcasm wasn’t over done and the characters were individual but there was not multiple story lines to muddy the plot. Tink was not the annoying, bratty fairy that she sometimes appears in other versions and Hook was too sexy for his own good. I loved their dynamic and the way their motivations were explained. The romance was super steamy too.

As a lover of anything Disney, this was right up my alley. It was a quicker read, but mostly because I could not put it down. I also enjoyed the brief mentions of Peter and how he was not a hero in this version, while still maintaining his usual misunderstood boy characteristics.
