Thanks to Simon & Schuster UK and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.
This is part of a series of books set in Nightingale Square which I have not read in it's entirety but this book can easily be read as a standalone.
Nightingale Square sounds like a delightful place to be and community to be a part of. This is the story of Beth who has shut herself away from her love of music and suddenly finds musical influences everywhere. This also introduces us to the Edith Cavell Nursing Home - I really hope there are more books in this series because the residents of the home are delightful!
Fabulous book.

This was a quick, easy and fun read it was well written with an engaging and uplifting storyline and well developed characters that were relatable and likeable. I really enjoyed it.

Don't you just love Nightingale Square??
Stunning settings, old familiar faces, new characters Beth working in a care home, Eli and his love for music.
What a great read, fantastic little community.
A pure joy to read.

Lovely to be back in Nightingale square . A great story about music, losing your mother and choosing between friend or girlfriend and an old people’s home. Wow made you think about retirement and how we treat mature people. The home was full of characters . Beth was a great asset to the home and she cared . A great read. Heidi Swain is a fab writer and you can read this book as a stand alone

Beth is a Carer at the Edith Cavel Care home. She loves her job and all the residents in it. But only thing in her life that is a thorn in her side is the shared home she lives in. Her housemates are the untidiest housemates and treats Beth as their cleaner. So, when she hears from one of the residents at the care home that there is a shared house in Nightingale Square, she can’t wait to check it out and when she is offered a place she jumps at the chance. Not only for the lovely community that she has been introduced too but Eli her new housemate is a neat freak, and he is not bad looking too.
When she moves in, she starts getting involved in the community and a friendship with Eli. Things are looking good in her life when also she becomes the Activities manager at the care home. Life is sweet. But when things from her past come to light, life seems to get complicated.
The Summer fair by Heidi Swain is another heart-warming story set in Nightingale square. This is part of a series but can easily read as a standalone. I love this series of eclectic characters set in Nightingale square. This is a life affirming story of a sense of community and people helping each other and doing what you love in life. This is a great read. 5 stars from me.

Heidi Swain has done it again! I adored this feel good book! Eli and Beth’s story takes us back to the gorgeous Nightingale Square and it’s lovely residents (although you don’t need to have read any of Heidi’s previous books to enjoy the story) as well as introducing us to the residents of the local care home - The Edith Cavell Care Home - and the businesses and residents of the local village. As with all Heidi’s books, the story is warm, uplifting, romantic and full of believable characters. This is the perfect comfort book and I really hope that we get to meet these fabulous characters again - I can’t get enough of Prosperous House and Nightingale Square. Highly recommended.

A new Nightingale Street book from Heidi Swain is always a treat and this one is no exception. This book could be read standalone but good to meet previous characters knowing their backstories. The path to true love never runs smoothly of course but the 2 main characters, infuriating as they are, get there in the end. As well as Nightingale Square, this book is based in a home for the elderly where we meet some interesting and at times, funny characters. A perfect unputdownable read.

This is a lovely warm-hearted read based again in the lovely small community of Nightingale Square, this time featuring the lovely Beth who has long turned her back of her dreams and now lives a small life getting by day to day until of of the wonderful nursing home residents where she works asks a favour of her which finally turns out to be the start of something good for her.
I loved both communities in this, those of the welcoming Nightingale Square who it was great to catch up with, although even if you’ve not read of the books before you’d still understand this fine, and that if the eclectic bunch of nursing home residents who are still wanting to make the most of everyday and were brilliant to read about. Beth had a great background story and combined with new housemate Eli it was interesting to see how both their pasts had impacted them and the decisions they made. This is a wonderful uplifting read about doing what you love and making the most of life. 9/10

Another beautiful book by Heidi set in Nightingale Square.
Beth is a lovely young woman who lost her mum and her future ambitions at the age of 19. It was lovely to meet Harold again and for him to introduce Beth to the Nightingale Square posse.
Loved meeting the old characters and lots of new ones too. The residents of the old people’s home were great fun and I loved the mix of music, plants and pizza in this book.
Another lovely uplifting book by Heidi, and I’m so pleased I got a sneak preview during my half term holiday. Loved the community feel of this book and a reminder of the importance of doing things we enjoy to make us happy.
