Found this audiobook extremely informative and especially recommending listening to our bodies in a whole new way and understand what the pain in your body is trying to tell you. It’s a book I’ll definitely be coming back to.
The very first thing I did on finishing the audiobook of 'Body Whispering' was go right back to the start and begin listening again! Feeling that I may have missed something, I started my first listen mildly intrigued, but finished it hanging on to every word!
This books talks about how to tune into our own bodies, in addition to other peoples, as such I feel it is an interesting read for individuals on a quest for self improvement, as well as people who work in caring professions. It tells of the connection we feel to our bodies as infants and how this is eroded as we mature, with disease often resulting from this disconnect.
Very frequently in the book a sequence of seemingly random words is repeated, this is the 'clearing statement', it took me a little while to get my head around (hence my second listen!), but now I love that this book has practical strategies (such as using the clearing statement) to 'take home' and potentially change lives.
My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy..

Very interesting concept and fascinating approach to healing. Letting your body speak, take the lead in finding solutions and strategies. Thought provoking and some new learning for those who are interested in alternative therapy and well being. The writing is very clear and a common sense approach to life normal problems. Some online references to go and review after you have read the book.it was a quick read and i will go and re read some of the chapters so I can absorb the tips and learnings, especially how to deflect other peoples issues. Read by the author. Thank you #NetGalley for the audiobook to review.
