Although the premise of this novel hooked me in, the actual novel was a huge let down. I started reading this one with high hopes because the synopsis intrigued me. I mean, a stolen angel? Who doesn't want to read about that? However, as I read the novel, I was drawn away from the story more and more, and I just did not dig the romance part of it. Overall, it was definitely not what I expected, and far from what I had hoped for.

I believe I requested this book while still in denial that angel books are generally not for me. So while other readers may really love the story, characters and writing style, for me it just doesn't work. I really just cannot get on board with angel stories but I was possibly hoping that this book might be the exception to the rule. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
