A sheer joy to read this is the 2nd book in the series, set at Goodwill House.
This is an action packed book taking many twists and turns along the way, the two Ladys of the house give us lots to think about. Brother and sister lizzie and Joe are a total godsend when the going gets tough. Romance is in the air at the airfield so fingers crossed for a good outcome, the airbase is filling up and getting very busy as the war progresses.
I totally loved this edition can't wait to read more of this gripping tale.
Another brilliant book in the series. Thoroughly enjoyable. Missed Sarah and Angus being in the book at all although glad Sarah's Grandmother Elizabeth has turned into such a nice character. Was hoping the WAAF would remain at Goodwill House and hope even if they don't return that they feature in future books. The coverage of the "Little Ships of Dunkirk" was done very well and something so important in the history of our country. Will miss not reading more of this series when I go to bed tonight!
Loved this book really want to know what happens next.
I don't want to give spoilers but I hope millie and Ted have a baby.
Hope everyone is happy in the end.
I'm glad that the story focused on others who stayed at the house but still had the other people there as well.
Firstly thank you Netgalley for this ARC. I love this series and was so delighted to receive it. If you love Family Saga and World War books you will love this. I feel like I am one of the New Recruits. Cant wait to read more by this brilliant author
