A practical collection of tips and tricks on how to live more sustainably. The author's tone is friendly and helpful without being hectoring, and everyone should be able to find a piece of advice that works for them.

A very interesting book with some excellent tips and tricks for making your home life a bit more green.

Such an interesting little book filled with lots of information. Perfect for those trying to live a little more 'green' in their homes and in general.

If you have a collection on Instagram full of Nancy's tips and tricks like I do then this is the book for you. Equally if you are looking for eco-friendly and pocket friendly ways to hack your life then look no further. This is fast becoming my go-to bible for all my household chores.

I already own Nancy's first book and Green Living Made Easy is a super follow on book. It is SO useful for general everyday cleaning and provides tips for a range of household jobs you might have been putting off.
I follow Nancy on Instagram and love that she is as eco and sustainable where possible. Her warm character shines through this book and out of its lovely yellow sun beam cover.
Everyone should have this and her first book on their book shelves.
Thanks Netgalley!

I really liked this book, it was a really interesting read. I, like many others I’m sure, have images of green living akin to the well loved 70s program, The Good Life. However, this book has definitely opened my eyes to lots of things that I can do to be greener as well as making better use of my money.
I particularly loved the two and three minute super saver tips and I’m definitely going to try a quite a few of them.
The book is nicely written, with a narrative that feels mindful of the fact that not everyone has the time or resources to be able to do all of the things in the book.
A great book that I would definitely recommend.
My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review.

It seems like a great book, however too many typos/spelling mistakes which didn’t make it easy to read. Some very useful tips which I will put to good use.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

This was a really interesting selection of tips and advice for how to live a greener life.
This book was packed full of great tips, recepies and hacks for how to be more sustainable in the kitchen, in the garden, when it comes to gift giving and cleaning.
I can't say I'm going to use all the advice and receipes in this book but there were definitely a couple I have bookmarked and would like to return to at a later date.
Unfortunately, the arc that I read was full of grammar and spelling mistakes. So many, it became difficult to read at times. But I'm sure the final version would have been properly checked.
There is definitely something for everyone in this book from the beginner who has no idea where to start to the already established sustainability King's and queen's.
If you're new years resolution was to live a more green life this year then I highly recommend you give this book a read

I’m a big fan of Nancy, both for her recipes and her green living.
I loved her previous book ‘Clean and Green’ and this book is another winner.
Full of delicious recipes, ideas and info. Perfect for anyone interested in having a more eco-friendly home.
Along with Clean and Green, this is a book to keep going back to for great tips and ideas.

This books gives good tips and insights for a greener living. There are many different hacks and tricks to help tackle everyday issues so that it would be easier for people to take the steps toward a more environmentally friendly life. I always enjoy reading about ecological things people do, especially regarding cleaning and reusing things. This is a good book for newbies to the subject. Personally I think it would be better if the recipes were separated from the rest.

A brilliant quick and easy read filled with practical tips. This is a great guide for those who want to save money and help the environment at the same time! It’s very clear and easy to follow. It also has many simple recipes and focuses on using fresh and natural ingredients.

A fabulous follow up to Clean and Green, this book is full of wonderful ideas on living a greener, more eco friendly life. Full of tips on recycling food, reusing old clothes, growing your own veg, crafting and loads more! Definitely a book to keep and dip in for ideas.

This is the sort of book I can see myself dipping into over and over again for hints ,tips and advice on living a more ecologically sound ljfe. The way it is written is nice , it's a bit like getting good advice from a friend ,not preaching or condesending just good friendly advice.

It was the bright yellow cover that first attracted my eye to this book. Then I read the blurb and like a lot of other people I feel I do want to make changes to save energy, and recycle, but it can seem like a lot of faff and honestly who knows what is recyclable and more importantly who has the time to mess about?
It honestly wasn’t until I had made the decision to read the book that I realised that Nancy Birtwhistle was the lovely winner of Great British Bake Off, the contestant who referred to a certain judge as “the male judge.” It made me want to read the book even more after seeing her no nonsense, straight honesty when on the bake off I thought if the books the same sort of approach it will be worth reading even if I only adopt a few of the suggested changes. I’ll be totally honest I had thought there would be more tips on cleaning and laundry etc but after reading realised that this is the second book by Nancy and she had covered that sort of thing in her first book. (Yes, its on my list to purchase at some point).
Each chapter has its won heading and illustrations at the beginning which I think is really charming and adds to the book. Why can’t it be pretty as well as practical? There are plenty of tips on gardening, whether you have an allotment or large enough garden to plant vegetables, or if you have a few pots on the patio. After reading the book, it’s made me long to grow my own mint again! If my health & body were in better shape, I’d still be growing tomatoes, peppers, potatoes etc, as they really do taste even better, when you know the effort, you have made in preparing the ground, planting, tending and harvesting them all yourself. I enjoyed reading the tips on avoiding food waste too. The rolling of herbs in dampened kitchen roll to keep them fresh.
This book is written so well, no airs and graces or preaching things should be done in a certain way. Nancy’s approach is if we all did a little, it would add up and eventually make a big difference. I loved the humour of Nancy going plastic bag free and finding out she had loads of bags at home to use! Some things are “common sense” or family traditions/remedies that have been handed down through the generations, other things are newer practices to adopt and use. These tips and hacks that Nancy suggests don’t mean missing out on things either but perhaps doing things more consciously than you may have been doing. The book feels more like having a chat on how to be more "green" with a friend, rather than being super serious & preachy like some similar books come across.
My immediate thoughts upon finishing the book were that I had discovered some great recipes (for food and homemade cleaning solutions) baking and cooking tips too!
Summing up this is genuinely an interesting read that has certainly given me some interesting ideas to implement, adapt in my efforts to becoming more “green”.
