This is my favorite book club kit so far! Loved the interview, but also the discussion questions and how JM added her own discussion questions. The quiz was adorable but the additions of bookmarks was sweet, however not likely usable in this tech ruled world. The pizza and drink recipe were great touches - didn’t try them out, but enjoyed their inclusion. I think my book club would really enjoy using this kit!

I've had If the Shoe Fits on my bookshelves for a while now, and stumbling across this has motivated me to read it finally! I like the activities and recipe.

This kit is such a great way to engage with my book club! The activities are really fun and are so much more than what I'm used to seeing. The recipes also were a nice surprise and delicious too!

Love the book very much — the character and storyline. This book club kit was such a great addition, especially to give everyone ideas of topics to discuss and interesting directions.

Another delightful book by Julie Murphy! I enjoyed this Cinderella-esque story and especially enjoyed the setting of a reality tv show.

Hahaha, of course this whole series began with Cinderella. Everything always seems to come back to her, doesn’t it? It’s one of the most retold retellings I’ve seen and for some reason we all just keep coming back to it. That’s a good thing, mind! And I love the aspects of adapting it to a reality TV show as well!

I think this kit also didn’t have the best bookmarks (they really stepped it up with Kiss the Girl, apparently), but it did have a great interview and good discussion questions. Additionally, I really like that the kits include trigger warnings as well. I definitely think, overall, book wise, I lean toward reading If the Shoe Fits and By the Book more than Kiss the Girl, by story appeal alone. I could definitely see a bookstore using all three of these book club kits well!

This Book Club Kit provided some great insight into some of the complexities of Cindy's family dynamics. I also liked the author interview that gave some nice insight into why and how Julie Murphy developed her main and side characters. I really enjoyed If The Shoe Fits and found this Kit to really complement the story. As always, I enjoyed the fun activities at the back as well as the food and drink recipes.

I have been wanting to read this book for a while and now this kit might give me that extra push! Even if I don't use this with friends or my book club I thought it would be fun to have a mini book reading party for myself. I think I might make the recipe and drink, print out the bookmark to use while reading, take some time reading, and play around with the quizzes and activity! Maybe even dress up for it?! This kit has got me feeling all creative now.

What a fabulous treat, this book club kit! I loved this book so I am very excited to think about more with help of the various prompts, get more information from and about the author, and to enjoy the various freebies. Would recommend!!
