I will start by saying I enjoyed the storyline of this book, following multiple generations through generational trauma, coping, learning and just living through all the phases that came. I felt every emotion reading this book, sadness, hope, hurt and so much more. Every time Khloe mentioned that her mom couldn't love her because of whatever lack she got as a child, that just broke me down. This was a very tough read but also causes you to be empathetic to people's situations, you never know what someone could be going through at home. And to always try to be an ear or a shoulder.

This was a beautiful read that was well written with well developed and engaging characters that were likeable and relatable and a great storyline. I read this so quickly, I really liked it.
