Thought the plot of this sounded interesting and unique enough, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of the narrative voice of the protagonist.
I really enjoyed the premise of this one. The characters were extremely fun and I loved surrounding myself with the Indian culture.
I have really enjoyed this quick and fun novel. I liked the main character and was in love with the Indian culture in the book. I adore Indian food and I liked reading about the wedding parties and the food. The main character's development and education into Indian Culture was interesting. I also liked Sami and his family.
I think the ending was a bit rushed and I would have liked more after the big disagreement.

A delightful and inspirational story, The Breakup Expert offers readers a poignant and humorous account of Manny’s newfound journey to discover who she is.
A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.
DNF'd, unfortunately. I found the writing really juvenile and not particularly good. Because I disliked the start, I wasn't particularly motivated to continue forward and I didn't feel the premise was interesting enough to keep going.
Thank you for my earc of this book
It took me a little while to get into the story but I enjoyed it overall.
The plot was good, characters were fun to read and I enjoyed the romance elements
Not for me. I tried to get into it but I didn’t particularly enjoy the start which meant I didn’t go back to it to finish the rest
So good, I loved this book and was so happy to read it. I also loved the fact that they had breakup email at the beginning of each chapter, they made me chuckle!
And I am so glad about how it ended, take that you one horrible person (if you read it you will know!)
This is such a well written, enjoyable book, I read it in one sitting. It’s about a woman who, although being of Indian descent, knows nothing of her culture, and so strikes a deal to help a client evade a clash between his culture and girlfriend, whilst he educates her on her culture. It was a fast paced, well described book which really made you feel as though you were there, and introduced me to some new songs I’ve actually gone on to buy
This was a quick, easy and fun read that i couldn't put down. it was well written with an engaging storyline that explored a cultured taht was so interesting to me and charcaters that were well developed and that I loved. A really good read.
Great read.
Manny runs a company called Breakup, which helps people break up with their significant other.
She seems stuck in a relationship that isn't that great, and when she agrees to help out Sammy with his temporary break up in exchange for attending an Indian wedding with him, will things change for her?
I also found it really interesting to read about a culture so different to my own.
