It’s always important to show little girls that women can and have done great things since the beginning of time!

This is an absolute wonder of a book.

I loved just about everything about it: the concept, the idea, the colours, the novel illustrations, the succint text, the choice of the historical and contemporary rebel women. For way too long things such as adventure, education, discoveries, science or artistic achievements were presented in children's literature as boys' territory. This book is a breath of change, showing that actually, no, not boys' territory at all, for there have been plenty of women who defied set standards, status quo and gender roles.

Of course there is a version of this book for older children, but I think it is important to start getting this message across to children as young as possible, and the board book version allows you to do just that. Texts are wonderful - adjusted to young not-yet-readers, inventive, melodic and educative. For me such a book would be an invaluable part of my children's book collection.

This book is the perfect way to introduce extraordinary women to my preschool aged children. The pictures did a great job of conveying what each woman was known for in bold vivid colors. Thank you for creating a book for the little ones who need simpler sentences but deserve inspiring women's stories. I'll be purchasing a book for my home library.

The art is beautiful and the women selected for this is perfect. This is great addition to a child's library.

As an educator, I think this book would be a great addition to a school library. Since I teach older students, it isn't one I would add for my classroom, but I do think the women included are worthy of knowing more about. This could be a good starting point for a research project, or for women's history month.

The illustrations are beautiful, and the colors are bright and engaging for a little kid's eyes. I also appreciate that the cast of characters is diverse, both by race and by their contributions. A very well-made children's book, but I am not surprised since this series, in general, never fails to disappoint me.

When I went onto Goodreads I could not find this book which was a disappointment as I wanted to place a review on there but I think this is good overall and keep up the good work.

I love this series, and this is a great new addition! This book is great for reading to babies or young children as the sentences are simpler, and it has beautiful illustrations. I also love the range and diversity of the women included in this book! I would definitely buy this for any future nieces or nephews I have.
