Loved this one, the illustrations were so cute and adorable. I liked that it begins with the questions we usually ask ourselves like why can't i remember a dream and things like that so nice actually to know a little more on this things.

Then it gives you a little science for this and that's actually amazing didn't thought I will find science on a book about dreams but it was awesome since this it's a biologic thing in a way since it happens on our brains.

It has a little psychology and religious side on it but totally interesting how they have being interpreted along the way really.

Something that I found fascinating it that it explains about specific types of dream trama, lucid, recurring and others and its so cool to know what can actually it's going on with you when this appears.

By the end of the explanations then you have the dictionary with a lot of meanings for a lot of things you can dream of with pictures and all, totally loved it.

Focus of dreams is great for people who are interested in founding out about them . A great beginning guide. I wish the front cover was a bit more eye catching but other than that I really enjoyed the book and will definitely keep coming back to it.

In Focus Dreams is a book expounding on dreams. It has been written by Angela Mogridge. The book contains details on the meaning of a dream, types, and causes. Data is collected from biology, psychology, and spiritual points of view. This is a book to pick if you want to remember what you dream as well as find out what your dreams are communicating.
This book has alluring illustrations that I liked very much. The general design of the book is beautiful. The editing is professionally done. The information is presented in a calming manner. In Focus Dreams is a practical text. It will help the reader to focus on their dreams and spiritual growth.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is well researched, informative and helpful for self-growth. I found the book captivating.
I recommend this book to people who are curious or troubled by their dreams. There are interesting parts, where students of psychology will find educative. Parents will find this book a great dream guide for their children.

I am an avid and odd dreamer. Almost always nonsensical, and the more terrifying, the better. Yet, I’ve never given much thought to dreams. They are simply a place I go when I am not quite myself. Or maybe, this book may argue, when I am exactly myself.

I love the inclusion of illustrations throughout, it’s a very aesthetic vibe and it suit the spiritualism direction this book is pointed in.

There is psychological and scientific information about the brain’s anatomy and function, as well as instructions in how to give yourself nightmares and lucid dream, and outlines the importance of dreaming to different religions.

There’s a lot of information about so many things, there’s limited space to actually explain the meaning of dreams. And the “dictionary” as I’ll put it, is interesting but lacking A LOT of things, I was unable to find meanings for some of my most common dreams, in which I am swimming or trying to escape a shark attack. While, there’s two full pages written about fear of snakes.

I think the book should have been longer and included more examples of things that were not so obvious.

For people wanting to try out lucid dreaming, or are interested in other spiritual activities like yoga, aromatherapy, astrology, palmistry and meditation.

This is a great beginning handbook about dreams! As someone who is interested in spirituality/the dream world, I found this very useful.

First, Mogridge talks about the science behind dreams and the different psychological theories of dreaming as well as how each religion views dreams.

Next, she goes into dream interpretation. I especially liked the dream dictionary section. Unlike other dream dictionaries, I found that it included enough useful information (and sometimes multiple interpretation options for one dream) to accurately interpret my specific dream. It also included a lot of information about the more common dreams that most of us have had. I definitely recommend this book to help figure out any dream or just learn more about the dream world in general!
