Frank thoughtfully outlines why “good people” alone cannot overcome systemic inequality that BIPOC people, or others traditionally underrepresented in corporate America, face in business, then details what leaders have done to successfully include those historically denied opportunity in corporations. Frank’s message is one of generosity—how do people who believe in equity in business make it happen? Frank approaches the topic with realism and grace. She does not mince words or ignore the reality of systemic racism. She guides readers as to how they can improve their own niche in the world for those who have been negatively impacted by a racist system.
