A perfect continuation of the first story, with lovable characters and a touch of everything, i didn't want it to end. I think you could jump into this one without reading the first, but you'll want to go back to it.

I hadn’t read the first book of this series before jumping into this one, but I didn’t feel lost or confused as to who the characters were or what had happened in the first book, which I had to read after finishing this one.

I loved Emily, Hannah and Henry. The story was a perfect continuation of book 1 which was just phenomenal.

I was a fan of the first novel in this series and was aware of the inspiration behind the story so the choice to read the rest of the trilogy was a given.
‘Grounded’ was a perfect follow on to the slow burn of book one and picks up with Olivia and Emily (and Henry), although both women find their lives taking turns for the worst and as with all good romances it seems fate will help their paths to cross once more.
I love the characters in this series and the writing style creates a warm hug of a story you can’t help but dive into. My personal favorite character is Olivia who is represented very well as neuro-atypical and therefore their romance is portrayed in a slightly different way, making the series feel very refreshing for the lesfic genre. I really enjoyed this installment but as with most trilogies there is a slight bridge feeling with the second where not everything is resolved fully but keeps you waiting for the last part.

I'm a huge fan of Amanda Radley books and this one doesn't disappoint. With great characters, and a great storyline, this is one I definitely recommend!

Another edition to a good series that includes a well written portrayal of someone who is neuro atypical. A very scary scene at one point, which you definitely shouldn’t read if you have taken this book on holiday (it’s ok if you’ve travelled by train!). True loves wins out in the end, helped by the lovely assistant, Simon, who is one of the nicest characters ever. The child, Henry, has age appropriate language and understanding, which makes a real difference to being able to engage in a story. It’s so jarring when the child sounds like their 35 years old. I read to the end happy in the knowledge that I had the next edition to read as well.

I enjoyed the first book in the series so much that I did not want too much time to past prior to reading book two. I was not disappointed. If children are part of the story, then they should be a main character and so far in this series, Henry is a major part of the story. His behavior impacts Olivia and I was captivated by how she reacted. Emily continues to struggle with doing things on her own as well as her feelings for Olivia. On the other hand, Olivia knows exactly how she feels about Henry and Emily. I really enjoy when children are part of the story and make the grown ups have to react to them and their needs and also meet their own needs.

Love this series, love the characters and the storyline. Another well written series of books. I really enjoy this authors writing style too. Very enjoyable.

I was super excited to read this, having very much enjoyed the first book in the series. I have to admit I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first, although it is an enjoyable read with a satisfying ending that doesn’t leave the reader hanging.

The good parts are very very good. I love Radley’s way of writing snappy dialogue and including genuinely funny scenes. My favorite scene is Olivia in the taco bar, and the running jokes that result. The bad guys are sufficiently bad to create tension, but not over the top. The plot has some good twists too.

Unfortunately, the story gets bogged down with drama, long-winded advice scenes on both sides that endlessly rehash events we already witnessed in the narrative, Henry being a typical kid (a LOT of the story is various people taking care of him), and side-character plots that I didn’t particularly care about. I ended up skipping a lot of scenes, particularly the Henry ones, and just skimming them until I came to the poignant line he’d say about him mom’s relationship with Olivia.

I think Olivia is one of the most fascinating characters in lesfic. She’s obviously non-neurotypical and the way she relates to people and the world around her is unique and well-written. She’s not typically romantic either, so the love story is very understated, and a lot of the story is taken up by the other characters.

Overall, a nice read with a large cast of characters, lots of drama and sub-plots, some funny moments, and some feel-good moments.

I enjoyed the story. Henry is a star, quite adorable and will no doubt steal your heart. The twist and journey of the main characters will let them know they need to communicate more.

Sometimes I’m at a loss regarding how and in what order a series should be released. Such is the case with Ms Radley’s Flight Series. Instead of releasing the three books in the order they were meant to be, BSB's has decided to jump over the first book, Flight SQA016 and release both Grounded and Journey’s End. I’m sure there must be a reason, right?
Well since I’ve already read the whole series I can let you know that you will not be disappointed. This is the story of Emily White and her young son Henry, along with Olivia Lewis. They meet on the plane going to London. Emily works as a flight attendant, while Olivia travels back and forth over the pond each week.
Henry is the one who gets the two women together. He's very ill and can only get the help he needs in London. Apparently American doctors don’t know how to treat Henry so Emily brings him with her while she’s supposed to be working. Long story short, there are more than a few twists and turns, and misunderstandings to keep you picking up the book for a few more pages.
I did that and can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I’m glad I have the whole trilogy to binge through because these are such slow burn. The characters had kissed by the end of book one and I think it took last half of this one to get to a second kiss. It’s less a romance and more a contemporary focused on two people who happen to be falling for each other - the focus seemed to be on Olivia’s work drama and Emily’s parenting and custody situation for a large chunk of the book. The one thing that kind of bothered me was that a character mentions Olivia is Puerto Rican, as kind of a throw away comment, never to be brought up again except for when she one time speaks Spanish to be romantic to Emily…it felt kind of like checking off a diversity box that the author had forgotten to mention in the first book? (I read the old edition, not by Bold Strokes, of the first book because that’s what my library had, so maybe it was mentioned in the newer edition, and was added later?) Overall, I thought it was fine but very, very slow. I love Henry, he and his giraffe obsession is the cutest.

Olivia regrets losing Emily and Henry so instead of dealing with it she throws herself into her work. While working herself to the bone she realizes something is going on because she losing clients and top it off she gets into accident I love that she had her friends to help her. Emily is struggling to raise her son Henry and the lost of Olivia when Henry grandparents wants her to give him up to them.

Olivia and Emily have to learns that communication is key to relationship that’s it’s ok to lean on each other and that you don’t have do everything alone to learn what’s important. I enjoy this read I like that sometimes a child is more wiser then adults.

I was disappointed with Emily's attitude towards Olivia. Felt she should have been more understanding. Also felt she should have enquired about Olivia after the crash knowing it was a flight she may have been on. But even so did like the story. The machinations going on between Henry's grandfather and Olivia's nemesis gave the story a wee twist.

Emily to give Henry up. They hired a private investigator to check her out. They discovered all her debts and her work schedule . Her former company let her go and she was in need of a new job. I felt from the beginning it was a set up.


Olivia is trying to recover from her and Emily’s fight and then a terrible accident
happens. She has Simone and Nicole to keep her grounded. Olivia loves Henry and will do anything for him and Emily.

This is the second book in this series. I felt like the main issue with this couple was communication.. Olivia was right to a point, but with emails she needed to think before she would speak.She was trying because of her love for both Emily and Henry.


Henry is a shining star In the book. He is a very sweet and curious little boy. The supporting characters in the story keep you invested in the story.

There are some twist and turns the two main characters go through. The discover what is important in life. I highly recommend this book. It was sweet and beautiful .
