Excellent read the toxic mother/ daughter dynamic is explored so well and thoroughly that it's almost impossible to stop reading this. The entire unsettling undertone of SA and men abusing their power is very real and terrifying- and it's written as such. It wouldn't be fair to say that I enjoyed reading this book because of aforementioned topics, but I can say it was a book that resonated with what it means to constantly be wary of men and the world we live in. It's definitely a read I won't be able to stop thinking about.

This was good but not great for me. There have been a number of novels recently (quite rightly) about sexual harassment, coercion and an imbalance of power within the workplace. I think there have been a few more which have done it slightly better than this.

Don't get me wrong, the writing was very good and incredibly realistic of people of that age and in today's culture. However, the story just didn't grab me the way that I had hoped.

Having said that, it is a debut novel and is certainly a good start. I would definitely look out for more books from this author.

Wow! This book completely isn’t what I was expecting it to be. It’s dark, and twisty and just so completely compelling.

A novel about a young woman trying to succeed in Hollywood without selling her soul to the devil…. The storyline kept me glued to my Kindle through the whole book! I definitely recommend reading this book!

this was a quick, easy, funny and brutally honest read that was well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters that were relatable and likeable. I really enjoyed it.

Frank, funny, fun, upbeat, wonderfully current, and really relatable. I really enjoyed this fabulous feel good book. Wonderful.
