A very good read with good characters. Loved the cover. 4*.

I’d like to thank Boldwood Books and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Blood Pact’ written by Heather Atkinson in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Jamie Gray is with his friends Digger, Gary and Logan working for Toni McVay on the north side of Gallowburn. Cameron Abernethy is still in prison after being found guilty of his daughter Allegra’s murder but he knows she framed him and is still alive and it’ll be Jamie who’ll eventually lead him to her whereabouts.

The story continues where ‘Blood Ties’ finishes and is another interesting and action-packed thriller as Jamie and the Blood Brothers rule their area of Gallowburn. I like the characters of Jamie and his friends who may appear to be tough but still take note of his mum Jackie who rules her extended family with a fist of iron. As usual there’s all the adventure, suspense, excitement and twists and turns that we’ve come to expect from this author.

Another great addition to the blood brothers.Can allegra and jamie ever be together????Allegras dad cameron abernathy is in prison for killing his daughter allegra he tries to frame jamie to prove his daughter is still alive.. i love all the characters in this book, the blood brothers are great. Jackie jamies mom is back in action with her frying pan and her new man mullen. The vicar also only does bad things for the greater good. This has a great storyline, kept me hanging on, coumdnt put it down. Highley recommend

My Thoughts :
I really enjoyed this series, it takes place in Glasgow Scotland and tells a story Of family, friends and rivals and oh so much more. Throughout this book these characters have grown and developed which is wonderfully done by the author. Jamie who is one of the main characters is a multi complex person who loves his family, friends and his one wish is to be with his girlfriend Allegra but Jamie has a violent side which can sometimes gets In the way. There is lots of drama, action, suspense and romance. I would recommend starting with book 1 blood brothers if you can if not this can be read as a standalone I will miss these characters as I believe this is the last of 4 in the series

Hold on to your hats ladies and gents, the Blood Brothers and Toni are back with a BANG! What a story! Edge of your seat action adventure and that ending 😱 jaw dropping. 5 stars not enough

I highly recommend this series of books by the author and set in Glasgow. I love the writing style, the humour and the characterisation of this crime thriller. Jamie is a complex character who has one wish, to be with his lovely girlfriend Allegra. He is filled with love for his family and friends despite the violent side of his character. There is plenty action and suspense as well as twists in the tale. It's an easy 5* from me. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

I have read ALL Heather Atkinson's books. They are all fantastic. The storyline was brilliant and fascinating you won't want to miss this novel! Wow! Double wow! Triple wow! This was such an amazing book!… Had me in its claws from the very beginning…

I so love this series but all this author s books good. Jamie just wants to be with the love of his life Allegra. but her father will stop at nothing to get out of prison he wants her found to clear him but he gets a visitor DCI sharples who for his own agenda wants to take down Toni. so the blood brothers are being watched but Allegra s brother wants to find her to why. but DCI sharples will do anything in his power to frame poor Jamie as normal these boys so funny and other characters in book is this the end of the blood brothers its so dam good highly recommended this series

Yet another brilliant chapter in this family's rein of power. I absolutely loved it and there was so many twists and turns. I didn't expect some of it to happen

My first book by this author and I fell in love with her writing style, her characters and her storytelling.

Why do people sometimes act the way they do? Well it’s often for money and power. They scheme, make deals and stab their partners in the back once they have what they are looking for.

A person you thought was on your side becomes a rival and enemy in the blink of an eye of even faster sometimes. 😊

You can trust them as far as you can throw them, which is not a lot so it seems time after time.

But this story is not all about violence and the struggle for the highest ranking in the crime world. Even the most cruel people find some kindness somewhere hidden deep inside and there is love. Love between lovers, family and friends. Although I have to say friends do not really exist in gangland crimes. Those people are family too even you don’t have the same blood running through your veins. People who stand by you through thick and thin, who always have your back are considered family and you would do anything for them too.

That is what I like so much about this kind of books. The contrast between the cruel parts and the fierce love. Those ‘family’ members would die for you and that is so, so beautiful and touching. I know they don’t take the kindest way to deal with the enemies, but it’s their devotion that drives them. They fight hard, but they love as hard.

I loved it. Great, great book with a number of schemes and twists that made my head spin. I am a very happy reader. 5 stars.

I loved the character Jamie and that at heart , he was a good man doing what was right for his family
