Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the advance read.
Starting the book the story felt a little far fetched but I was glad I continued with it.
It was a lovely story and I really enjoyed it.
It's well written and you can't help but feel for the characters throughout the story.

When I first started reading I did struggle to get into the story as it seemed a bit far fetched but I carried on and am glad I did. It was a good story and even a little sad at the end

Unfortunately I didn't finish this book, I could not relate to any of the characters and to be honest they weren't very nice, sorry for the bad review.

Well this book really surprised me! Within the first few pages when a ghost spoke to the main character, I thought what a load of rubbish! But carried on reading so I could give a fair review and wow! I’m so glad I did as I really enjoyed it! A really easy read with some really sweet parts to it, I couldn’t see how it could have a happy ending but it sort of did although I did shed a tear or two at the end! I would really recommend this and if like me the beginning makes you think it’s going to be rubbish, keep going and I’m sure you’ll love it!
Thank you Netgalley for an advanced copy x

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I absolute loved this, just couldn’t put it down, had to know what happens next. A fabulous story about soulmates. There’s were moments when I cried and laughed so much.

Alice is driving home when a car is upside down and there’s a body lying in the grass, going up to it, she’s pleased the person is alive. Next she’s asking him to go with her to her place to settle himself down.

But, as she’s driving, realises that he’s someone from TV and famous. Even more weird is that he’s dead, but she can see him, and no one else can. Trying to find somehow to send him to heaven, they both discover that they’re meant for each other .

Can’t wait for Jill’s next book.

I just couldn’t get into a romance involving a ghost. I like escaping to an imaginary world, but this was too imaginary for me.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Nah this just didn’t work out for me. Building up the relationship between Jimmy and Alice and then just squashing it all. Surely there could have been a more satisfying ending for readers? I was quite disappointed with the ending. Not a feel good book at all, just a depressing read.

What’s with the title? Who’s meeting again? I felt terrible for the characters in the end. Ugh.

What an absolutely wonderful story, I've never read anything like this before but I enjoyed every single moment. There was everything I needed in there, love, death and joy and I experienced laughter and sadness, a fantastic page turner

A good book if you are looking for a bit of an escape from reality, read it in a couple of hours, found some parts a little hard to digest but overall I really enjoyed it, liked the characters and had tears in my eyes at the end with angel

I had difficulty getting into this story. The ghost element wasn't my cup of tea. I found myself skipping large portions of it.

Fate might have marked them out for each other, but somehow their destinies have got tangled. Will they get their happily-ever-after, or might their time together be shorter than either of them would hope… Wow what a book. I am still sat thinking about this book even though I finished it a few days ago. Jill is such a great author and her books just keep getting better and better!

A book that might divide the crowd. However I enjoyed it. Yes it has a few bits in it. That were a little hard to relate to. But overall. I thought it was well written and is a good story about life after love.

Interesting take on 'there's life after love'. More precisely 'better to have been loved and lost than not to have been loved at all'. I enjoyed the book and the writing was different. Jimmy's character was very lively and fun. Some parts of the book were narrated very beautifully and emotionally. Good read.

This book may not be for everyone it features the afterlife and a ghost. I really love this premis and really enjoyed it. Well written and nicely descriptive. Thank you netgalley for the advance copy

Having just recently discovered this author I was looking forward to reading this and it didn’t disappoint. This was a unique story that combined the love of meeting the one with death and the afterlife

I was hooked into this book from the first few pages and read it in almost one sitting and was a very different type of romantic read from any I had read before for reasons I won’t mention her for fear of spoilers.

This was a very poignant uplifting yet funny and sad read and had engaging characters particularly Alice who deserved to find happiness and to be kinder to herself. And the story makes you realise the importance of treating everyday like it is your last and finding joy in the little things as they are the ones that make a difference to your life.

This book was sent to me electronically for review by Netgalley. The ghost part put me off from the beginning. Although the author is talented, the story did not grab my attention...others might really like this story. I do look forward to other books by this gifted author.

I always like to mention Trigger/Content warnings when sensitive themes are mentioned and this book deals with: death and the afterlife.

Alice Fletcher is driving home and comes across a car accident and a dishevelled man. She takes him home and realises he is television star Jimmy Mack but quickly realises that he is in fact…deceased. A heartwarming love story against all the odds.

I didn’t really know what to make of this book to be perfectly honest. I loved the premise - it’s kind of Romeo & Juliet meets Ghost and Cinderella but I just didn’t bond with any of the characters and I didn’t feel like they really bonded with each other either. The whirlwind romance between Jimmy and Alice felt forced and contrite and then the subsequent relationship between Alice and Damon just felt like she was choosing a substitute.
I did however enjoy its lightheartedness and it was an easy read to get through so perfect if you’re looking for something light and breezy.

I just loved it . A wonderful and magical story about soulmates . I finished it in few hours , I couldn 't stop reading it because I wanted to know what will happen next . A cried and laugh out loud so many times .
She is on her way to her flat when she see a car upside down and a body lying in the grass . She is happy when the man is alive . She helps him and offer to take him at her place to calm down . Then she realises he is a famous TV star . But what is more crazy is that he is dead and only she can see him . While they try to find a way for him to go to heaven they realise that they are meant for each other .
I received this book from netgalley and the puclisher as an arc . Thank you . All thoughts and opinions are my own .
