This was such an emotive and powerful read. well written and compelling in a way that I felt like we were sat down with a cup of tea and she was telling me everything in the book personally to me. So many amazing and heart wrenching experiences that affected her on a personal level, I just wanted to give her a hug. An amazing read.

I will forever hold in my heart the stories that she has told from the depths of Sudan to the Bangladesh Shacks. I was gripped from the very first page and literally couldn’t put it down. Talking about her own personal life and how she coped with what she experienced and saw can’t have been easy but made me empathise with her and others who have been on a similar journey.
