I find the Medical series a rather hit or miss but I enjoyed this one. The main storyline involved. Basilius, a surgeon who had one rule on life- don’t get involved and Naomi a nurse working at the same hospital at him who is also pregnant with his baby after a one night stand. The secondary relationship storylines involve Bas’s twin, Henrik, who is also a surgeon and Grace, one of his few friends who gets involved with Henrik, Naomi and Bas will only find their HEA if Bas addresses his childhood traumas and reconnects with his twin but is he prepared to put in the work?

In this Billionaire Twin Surgeons story, surgeon Basilius has just one rule: don’t get attached! After a childhood where Bas was only ever let down by those closest to him, he’s hesitant to trust anyone. So, why can’t he stop thinking about nurse Naomi? Still, as Bas fights to forget her, he hits a stumbling block. Naomi is back, as his new colleague – and she’s carrying his baby! This is one book I finished in one sitting - and that doesn't happen very often. The characters are well-drawn and are very likeable. There is sufficient storyline to provide some twists and turns before the couple attain their HEA. I will certainly read more books by this author. Highly recommended.

An interesting medial romance as Naomi ends up working with the father of her unknown baby. Then things go wrong and despite not wanting to be together, Bas pushes to be the one in control and organising their lives. There is a subplot linked to Bas’ unhappy childhood that is a little far fetched but well told. The growth to love is fast and described in strong emotions.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Mills and Boon in return for an honest review.

This is one of a duo about twin brothers who were separated aged 7. Bas is now a famous surgeon and lives a playboy lifestyle. Because of what he thinks his brother did when they were children, he hates him and ignores his letters.

The story is about his relationship with Naomi (the mother of his expected child) - whom he met and had a one-night stand with some months earlier, as well as his reluctance to meet with his brother Henrik who is on a study visit to the hospital where Bas and Naomi work. Another thread is his relationship with his long-term friend Grace, who becomes involved with Henrik (subject of the other book.

This was an enjoyable read - so much so that I bought the other book.
