ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!
I wasn't sure what I was hoping to get from Oliver's story, but if I had expectations, this would have far exceeded them. Oliver was the sunny sunshine that you had come to love throughout the series, but it wasn't all sunshine and roses for Ollie. As always, Liese handled it with such sophistication and grace.
Gavin was the little thundercloud hanging over Oliver's head, but you couldn't help but love him. I pictured Roy Kent from Ted Lasso during my read and I loved Gavin even more.
The appearance of the Bergman siblings and significant others made this story even more loveable, and now I want to go back and reread all their stories. I am sad this series eventually has to end, but I am loving every minute of it!

This is another goal scored (see what I did there 😏) for me from Chloe Liese! I love her writing style and up til now have been loving reading this series though audio so I wasn’t sure how my brain would like reading her words with my eye balls. Turns out weather though ears or though eyes my brian loves Chloe Liese’s word smithing and she can do no wrong.
Oliver and Gavin stole my f*ing heart and have yet to return it. Both are so relatable Oliver with his sunshiny happy go lucky exterior hiding his anxiety. Gavin hiding behind his grumpy façade to protect his uncertainness and mask the chronic pain he is inflicting on himself.
The enemies to lovers in this story is *chefs kiss* perfection! As is the slow burn steamy goodness that Liese has become known for!
As always the Bergman clan is hilarious and supportive siblings giving (sometime unwanted) advice and lots and lots of love and understanding. It’s always fun to get a glimpse at what our favorite couples are up to and how’s getting married next! In this book we also get a amazing group of inappropriate seniors making mischief and playing matchmaker!
I throughly enjoyed this story and I am always excited to read what Chloe has for us next!

Sigh. I think it is impossible to choose my favorite Bergman Brothers book because they are all just SO GOOD. I tried stretching this out because I wanted to savor it but I just couldn’t anymore.
This wonderful story follows Oliver Bergman and features a time jump four years into the future from the last book. I think the time jump serves the story well- not only does it not mean all the Bergman siblings fall in love within a couple years despite their ranging ages, it means we get to see a new, more mature Oliver as well as see what all our favorite characters from previous books are up to!
The relationship between Gavin and Oliver was scorching- I could feel the tension coming off the page immediately. I’ve never seen Ted Lasso, but my god do I love the vibe of this Ted Lasso-inspired book. I’m a sucker for grumpy/sunshine romances and this one was just done so perfectly!
Oliver's struggles with anxiety were written so well and I really appreciated the way Gavin's issues, not only with the physical but the emotional ones as well, were treated.
This series continues to blow me away and I can't wait to read more from Chloe Liese.

I published the following review on April 15th, 2022 on Goodreads:
I can‘t wait for you all to be able to read this book in May and enjoy it as much as I did.
The positives:
↣ I LOVE THE BERGMAN FAMILY! Every single family member has my heart, they are so wholesome and wonderful and just precious. I loved every single cameo and every single scene I got with them together.
↣ I just love how consciously and considerately Chloe Liese deals with more sensitive topics like mental health, physical health, sexuality and gender. She writes about all of these topics so beautifully and in a way that shows she truly cares about doing things right and about well-done representation.
↣ Oliver Bergman, my bisexual, sunshine-y, talented, sweet and sometimes anxious babyboy. He is the #1 fighter against toxic masculinity, he shows everyone kindness and he deserves all the love and success.
↣ GG (if you wanna know what that refers to, you better read the book once it comes out 😉) Gavin is the grumpiest grump, so he took a little longer to fall for, but once he started melting for Oliver, I immediately started melting for him too. He suffers from chronic pain and he has deep-rooted fears and insecurities that make him keep people at arm‘s length and I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him he is so worth loving.
↣ Chloe Liese really knows how to wring all the emotions out of me. I cried, I giggled, I grinned and I deeply felt for all the characters. She just balances out the funny, cute, swoony, sad and emotional scenes so well.
The negatives:
↣ Despite there being rather good transitions from rivals to respectful co-captains to friends to more, I still felt like it was very insta lusty. Gavin and Oliver disliked each other at the beginning, but pretty much from the get-go they were thinking about having sex with each other. While such an attraction is not abnormal, I do like my romances to have a little bit more development before the characters are into each other in a sexual way. That is possibly also the reason why I didn‘t fully buy into the moment when they were in love with each other. I think I just needed a little bit more development to truly believe that they loved each other unconditionally.
↣ While I do appreciate some lyrical writing from time to time, when it‘s just one paragraph thrown in every couple of chapters, it doesn‘t really flow with the rest of the story. Sometimes the author would write those gorgeous sentences where one hero described the other and it was so dramatic and overly flowery for no reason. They would even point out how unncessarily poetic they were being and that they should stop possibly reading poetry and I was like „Yeah, maybe you should“ 😂
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Chloe Liese for providing me with an ARC of this book!

The love I have for the Bergman Brothers series is truly undying, and this book just felt like coming home. This book follows Oliver and Gavin as they try to change their relationship to avoid each other on and off the field as well as in their neighbourhood to being co-captains on their professional soccer team. This book has some of the most iconic and amazing tropes, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, one bed...... let me repeat ONE BED. If I could convince all romance lovers to read one series, it would be this one. I cannot wait for the next in the series!

This book series is amazing and I always love Chloe's writing.
What worked for me:
-Oliver - what a sweet wonderful cinnamon roll character
-The relationship tension in the middle.
-One bed/room
-The entire Bergeman family
What didn't work for me:
-Enemies to lovers but we don't see the reason why they are enemies
-Time jump
-A little too similar to Ted Lasso
Overall, I enjoyed reading Oliver's book and recommend it best reading the series in order.

Well once again the Bergman Siblings and their awesome shenanigans made me unbelievably happy. I adored seeing Viggo (who is all of us in Romancelandia), seeing all the weddings of Ryder/ Willa and Ren/ Frankie, seeing a smidge of Axel and Rooney, learning more about Ziggy and meeting the newest tinies! Also - time jump?!
But none of that overshadowed the adorable and emotional romance between Ollie and Gavin though. Their mutual competency kink and unwanted attraction - not to mention banter - were fun to be a part of. I also loved Gavin being an older character who was at a crossroads in his life and career. (This isn’t a terribly common sports story trope but I love to see it!) I also loved the common place discussion of therapy and high functioning anxiety! My notes that came up are wildly erratic. I do wish I saw more of Gavin in the end - of him coming to terms with his emotional connection with Ollie specifically.

Where to begin with this masterpiece?
It's definitely a slow burn between two soccer players who've been let down by love before, and hate each other. It's also age gap, with an amazing grumpy/sunshine banter. To wrap it all up, they're neighbors and co-captains of their team.
I loved that when Gavin knew he was falling for Ollie, he fell hard. He was protective and caring. He helped him through panic attacks, understood and listened to him when he needed it. Oliver is the cutest hero ever. He knows when to push and when not to, he's compassionate and loyal. They both deserve all good things and happiness.

Chloe Liese just can't write a bad book, in my opinion. And the Bergman Brothers series is my absolute favorite-I recommend it to everyone! This book had it all--age gap, enemies-to-lovers,sunshine/ grump personalities and forced proximity tropes, I am trash for all of these things!
I really enjoyed getting to know Oliver. In the previous books he's been one of the "man cubs" and pretty much just a constant prankster. It was good to finally see his serious side a bit. His relationship with his brother,Viggo, is the best and they continue to crack me up. But I also loved seeing how Oliver interacted with his friends and teammates, and his baby sister, Ziggy. He seems to be the glue that holds so many people together, and everyone just loves him for his sunny disposition, but are able to ground him when he is plagued by anxiety.
Gavin gave me some serious Kulti (Mariana Zapata) vibes, and I mean that as a huge compliment. He's almost 10 years older than Oliver and basically his exact opposite. He keeps to himself, with the exception of his elderly neighbors who play poker with him, is a man of few words, and is overall pretty gruff. He is fairly jealous of Oliver, who is his teammate, for being in the beginning of his career while Gavin is nearing retirement. When they get named co-captains for the season, he is less than thrilled.
Slow burns are not normally my favorite, but this one worked for me. Insta-love would not have made sense for Oliver and Gavin, and I loved how their relationship evolved. And once the steam started it was definitely worth the wait! Once again, Chloe nailed this book with her perfect blend of heart, humor, and heat. I cannot wait for book 6!

Name a better grump-sunshine duo, I’ll wait. Ollie radiates positivity with every encounter. He is engaging with every conversation, approachable with a warm smile, and chooses to shine rather than sulk. But below the sunshine lies a man who yearns for love and partnership that he’s scared of losing. Gavin puts up a shield that seems impenetrable with a monochrome world that prevents him from having any meaningful connection. The juxtaposition of soft and hard between Ollie and Gavin’s personalities made this book filled with amazing banter, chemistry that ignited the pages, and a reaffirmed love for Hamilton.
What I always enjoy about this author is her ability to accurately represent diverse characters in her stories. She curates people that are not often represented in romance books and allows the reader not only a glimpse into their world, but feel the daily struggles and internal battles they go through. This book was perfect from start to finish. If you are looking for a beautifully written story that will have you both laughing and swooning with a lot of Bergman love this book if for you. Thank you to NetGalley and the author Chloe Liese for this eARC

This is easily Chloe Liese's best book yet! If you are a fan of Ted Lasso, you will love this one. We finally get to see Oliver grown up and out on his own. He is playing professional soccer for the Galaxy and finds himself as a teammate with Gavin....someone he has always had a crush on and idolized. The always upbeat and cheerful Oliver is only sad that he finds that Gavin just doesn't like him and is a big ball of grumpiness all the time. This is our Roy Kent, friends. He's so fantastic and this may be one of my favorite grumpy/sunshine books I have ever read. These two are pure energy and life on the page. Every second they are together is fun, fiercesome, and there is the very best tension. Their relationship is magic and has so much steam. It. Is. Hot!!! I laughed so many times and fell in love with Oliver and Gavin with each and every page I read. I binged this one and stayed up way too late at night to read but it was so worth it.
In addition to the fantastic relationship between these two there is so much more to love. We get to see the beloved Bergman family with all their support, their antics and their pure love for one another. While Oliver is out on his own, Viggo is very much still around causing trouble and quoting his romance novels. Gavin has a found family of his own in a group of poker playing senior citizens. I adored the way that Liese represents anxiety, loss, and abandonment. She always takes such care. She is forever an author I trust to be caring and respectful with her characters. Plus, there is an immense amount of growth and character development. I will be preordering this one for sure and will be re-reading in the future. If you haven't read the Bergmans yet, you must. If I could give this one more than 5 stars I would!

𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 5/5 ⭐️
Reading a Bergman’s book definitely feels like coming home! Chloe Liese has definitely become one of my go to authors, I simply cannot get enough of her writing and this book is no exception.
This is Oliver and Gavin's story. Our story starts when Oliver is made co-captain of his soccer team with non other than Gavin Hayes. Who is a famous and talented player that happens to also be the hardest and grumpy player that might hate Oliver. We follow them as they try to overcome their rivalry to co-captain the team when their role on the team is challenged.
I loved watching them overcome their rivalry and start to become friends, their relationship evolved from sparing at each other to taking care and making sure the other is ok. Not to mention their chemistry was stellar!
This book was so much fun to read but also very important and meaningful. The author included representations of chronic pain and anxiety. As someone who suffers from both it meant a lot to see it being discussed in romance book, and the way she did, explaining some of the aspects of it without shame was very powerful.
I adored seeing snippets of the Bergman family, it made my heart happy! I am so excited to read Viggo’s and Ziggy’s stories!
One of my favorite things? The Hamilton love!
The amazing tropes:
⚽️ Grumpy/Sunshine
⚽️Rivals to Lovers
⚽️Age gap
⚽️Slow burn
⚽️Bergman family cuteness
⚽️Anxiety and chronic pain rep

“I promise it all—my body, my soul, my life, for you, everything for you, to care for you and love you, if you’ll let me. You’re the fucking sunrise of my heart, love.”

I have been dying waiting for Oliver’s story and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED 🥹
The will-they-won’t-they was utter perfection. The age gap was so well done that, while I typically am not a fan of the trope, I found myself hardly noticing. Both Oliver and Gavin had to make concessions in their hearts and minds in order to keep the other and ugh it was 🤌🏼
This was also such an exquisitely well done representation of the grumpy/sunshine trope that I am officially deceased because I’m not sure I’ll ever find another I love as much as this.
Everything about Oliver and Gavin is at odds. Oliver’s technicolor wardrobe compared to Gavin’s drab grey and black one. Their homes. Their lives and who they surround themselves with. Oliver just embarking on his career and Gavin in the twilight of his. But man, these two together are so soft and sweet and loving and sexy.
I loved every single word. And the cameos from all of the Bergman siblings that came before Oliver? I may have teared up. ALSO I CANT WAIT FOR VIGGO’S STORY. My dude is hysterical and untamed and I can’t wait to see who ties him down.

I just love the Bergman Brothers series so much!!
This is the fifth book in the series, and we finally get to see more of Oliver!
At the beginning of the book, we see a 4 year jump which I really enjoyed. Oliver is now a professional soccer player, and has also sworn off love. We also get to see more of Oliver and his struggles with anxiety, which Chloe managed to capture beautifully.
Gavin is 10 years older than Oliver, and the captain of the soccer team. He is super grumpy, and has no time for Oliver and his loveliness. Gavin is also struggling with physically ailments, with him being in near constant pain due to all of his injuries over the years.
Soon, they learn that they will have to put aside their differences and co Capitan the team together - what can go wrong?
THE TROPES IN THIS BOOK: This is a grumpy sunshine/ enemies to lovers - the perfect combination! Including a '1 bed' trope and also a personal fave, taking care of each other when sick. What more could you want?

I love the Bergman family so freaking much! There’s a little flutter of excitement in my belly every time I get my hands on a new one. This family is so fierce and funny and filled with deliciously complex emotions. I am so crazy about every single one of them!
So, it goes without saying that I was very excited for Oliver and Gavin’s story. I fell into it so effortlessly. I am always so charmed by the writing and caught up in the storytelling and my heart hops in immediately and happily goes along for the ride. And, while it wasn’t a perfect reading experience for me, I loved so very much the time I got to spend with these characters in this story.
There were moments that were so sweet and so satisfying between Oliver and Gavin. I liked the way they showed each other tenderness in a way that seemed to confuse each other, throwing them off balance and making them open their hearts almost against their will. And I liked the way their unquestionable physical chemistry eased into a gradual dawning of feelings – the burn was slow…until it wasn’t. It almost felt like once they acknowledged that they had feelings for each other, things went from zero to “I will love you forever and ever amen” very quickly, and I felt like I missed out on some important connecting steps along the way.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the grand gesture and the awkward way these two fumbled through the aftermath of said grand gesture (I find awkwardness so endearing). I loved the honesty they gave each other and the earnestness with which they threw themselves into the relationship (eventually). However I felt like the jump from actively pushing each other away, to declaring a lifelong love for each other was too big in a way that distracted me from the story, making me feel like I missed something along the way. I think I wanted a deeper dive into their feelings - particularly for Gavin who remained a grumbly mystery for so much of the story – and maybe more time spent with the two of them together, more dialogue, more glimpses into the layers of their feelings to help me understand why things escalated so quickly.
Quibbles aside, I really enjoyed so much of this story. It was an easy read, written in that smart and engaging way that I’ve come to expect from Chloe Liese. I adored the glimpses and updates I got on the Bergman collective and the meddling, loud way they love each other. There was a lot to love here, and – criticism notwithstanding, the romance was absolutely one of those things. Grump/Sunshine is one of my favorite dynamics ever and so watching these two opposite personalities light each other up inside was a fun and super satisfying reading experience. I adore this series, I’m so thrilled with Gavin and Oliver’s happy ending, and I cannot wait to see what Liese has in store for us next!

MM
Anxiety rep
Close knit Family
Team co-captains
Neighbours
Pranks
Only one bed
Grump that just wants someone to love him
The tension Chloe weaves throughout her stories is sublime. As a sports romance fan, I loved the sporting aspect included in this one. As a big fan of football (sorry, I can’t call it soccer, I draw the line at that) I thought the sport was really integral to understanding the dynamic between Oliver and Gavin. As the relationship progresses between the two the football scenes feature less which I missed.
I really loved grumpy Gavin and how he contrasted Oliver’s sunshine so perfectly. I loved the honesty in him, his thoughts and feelings of jealousy and resentment weren’t always kind but, for a man at the point he was in his career being faced with Oliver in his position, they were really honest.
As always with this series the characters were phenomenal and so easy to relate to and understand. Chloe’s representation of anxiety within Oliver’s character was so well written and I think a lot of people will really relate to this.
Chloe really is killing it with this series, I can’t help but fall in love with these characters immediately. I loved the inclusion of the rest of the Bergman clan and the snippets we saw in to the relationships we’ve already fallen in love with, without taking away from Oliver’s journey

4 stars!!
everything for you, an MM romance is the 5th book in the bergman brothers series. it follows two professional football (yes football not soccer) player's love story. some of the tropes in this book are rivals to lovers, sports romance, single bed, grump x sunshine.
i've been looking forward to oliver's book since i started reading this series and i have to say i was not disappointed! i loved seeing how he evolved from being a "man cub" to a sweet, considerate man.
olivergavin were sooo cute. i really enjoyed their banter and wish we could have seen more of it.
like the previous books everything for you had disability rep. one of the mcs has chronic pain while the other deals with anxiety (which was surprisingly similar to what i regularly feel).
one of my absolute favorite things about this series is how close they are as a family. i look forward to the siblings interacting and the little "bergman brother submits" in every book. i cant wait for viggo and ziggy's books!!
thank you to netgalley and chloe lise for providing me the arc

“He brings my hand to his chest. “I promise it all- my body, my soul, my life, for you, everything for you, to care for you and love you, if you’ll let me. You’re the f*in sunrise of my heart, love. All I need is to wake up beside you, to hold your hand and keep you steady when you need me, to watch you with pride and admiration, to give you hell for not being more selfish on the field and too generous off of it. I love you.””
For the love of all that is good and swoony. This is one of the best books I’ve read in years. I do not say that lightly. “Everything For You” is absolutely touching and beautiful.
So much heart. All the emotions.
Grumpy/sunshine. We’ve got Ted Lasso and Roy Kent if they were both soccer players and next door neighbors. In a captivating romance. And. It. Is. Beautiful.
As usual- author Chloe Liese offers a truly inclusive romance, with an extremely accurate portrayal of how it feels to live with anxiety (as this reviewer has experienced it to be). While I do not have personal experience with chronic pain- I can only fathom she has taken the utmost of care and that this too comes from a place of heart and sensitivity. It’s real and raw and handled openly and honestly.
These heroes. Oliver and Gavin. Phew. They are… ::shakes head:: I don’t know if I can accurately share them. They are complex and sweet and one is hiding hurts while the other is hiding insecurities and they just want each other and there was so much delicious longing and heat and… love. There is just a lot of love even before they know to name it as such. They communicate, there’s communication, y’all! Even when it’s scary or hard or takes a little time.
Viggo. Oh Viggo. He is a lovely side character with a lot of heart and man- I cannot wait for his happily ever after.
“Stop it with the romance novels”, I beg….”Life is not a romance novel.”
“One of my biggest beefs with life.”
I mean- surely I am not alone in that we all cannot wait to read about another romance novel lovin’ hero! I loved the role the entire family plays in this one- we get to catch up with couples of the past and see hints of the final two Bergman siblings to come. It felt natural and right, not to much, and not to little.
I truly loved this story. I’m in such a picky reader place and It was more than I ever hoped for and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I cannot wait to get my hands on this paperback.
C/w: panic attacks, chronic pain, homophobic slur (although it is un-named and handled immediately)
Thanks to netgalley for an early release copy, all opinions are my own. Will post to retail websites upon release day.

The Bergman brothers are back again. I’ve been anxiously awaiting a book for one of the man cubs because I knew there would be more to them than pranks and boyish good looks. Obviously, I wasn’t wrong. It’s Oliver’s time to shine in this book and we get a little time jump to move him past college and into the pros.
This enemies to lovers book is everything and more. It’s an age gap, sunshine/grump, professional athlete, co-captain, slow burn, steamy romance. Do you really need to know anything else? Okay one more tidbit: only one bed. Is there a better trope?
As always, Chloe delves into heavier topics than just pranks, steam, and banter. Oliver sports bright clothes and an even brighter personality but it’s all to hide the anxiety underneath. Meanwhile, Gavin is dealing with chronic pain and how to cope with a life without soccer. It’s often emotional and heart-wrenching but somehow also lighthearted.
Everything For You also has A LOT of Bergman sibling appearances (and their partners too). There’s nothing I love more than a good Bergman family get-together. Especially when they’re staging good-natured interventions and giving expert advice. Except for maybe old playing poker. Because that’s in here too and I had no idea how much I would love it.
If you love the Bergmans, you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t met them, what are you doing?
Thank you to Netgalley and Chloe Liese for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

There’s nothing like settling in with a Bergman Brothers book and the soundtrack playing in the background. As it was so well articulated in the book, romance novels just become so real and a part of you in a way that movies can’t seem to (for me anyway). And because of that I would usually be more hesitant approaching a book with so many weddings, but feeling happy and sad at the same time was a theme that kept coming up in this book and it was definitely therapeutic to see the ways that played out.
While Axel from With You Forever is a kindred spirit, Oliver’s ache for intimacy and tender heart was so relatable, as was Gavin’s grief over the way his life was changing. Sometimes if there’s little angst (which I tend to like) or conflict it can seem like they’re one of those happy couples that go skipping off into the sunset, so I absolutely loved that we got to see the work these two were doing within themselves, that there was still work left to be done, and that they knew there would be challenges to come and they wouldn’t have the perfect relationship, but they were committed to each other. To me, there’s nothing better.
And apart from all of this introspection, it was a really fun book to read! Grumpy-sunshine, neighbours and teammates, and a great only-one-bed scene. (Sometimes it’s advertised but lacks the unexpected intimacy that makes it so fun.) I’m all queued up for a Hamilton re-watch, finally seeing Encanto (I still haven’t watched it yet, but the book convinced me I had to!) and maybe even a revisit of Ted Lasso (I watched a few episodes and didn’t really get into it, but maybe if I see it as inspiration for Everything for You things might be different).
As much as I love the talk about toxic masculinity, boundaries, and the joy of romance novels (and I don’t mind so much when the author inserts their views into their fiction), the dialogue didn’t always come off as authentic, so sometimes it stuck out a little too much. Or at the beginning we’re introduced to a teammate with they/them pronouns and then they disappear into the background (along with much of the team dynamics or soccer environment). As cute as Linnie was, her insights felt pretty mature and her imitation of sex noises was kind of cringey. And shampooing with conditioner doesn’t make your hair oily — it’s called a co-wash! But while it may not have been perfect for me, I do appreciate seeing a bisexual hero in this group of siblings. All in all, another great Bergman Brothers book, and now I’m eagerly awaiting the next story.
