Everything for you had so many of my favorite tropes! It’s a contemporary sports romance between Gavin and Oliver, soccer teammates. Oliver is sunshine and Gavin is a grump, another fav trope. Did I mention it’s also a sports romance? And slow burn enemies to lovers? There’s even ONLY ONE BED. The only trope I didn’t like was the age gape. This book also had a lot of representation, including anxiety, chronic pain. This book even has a playlist. This book made me laugh and cry, I loved the banter between those two. I haven’t read any of the others in the series but this can be read as a standalone and I’ll check the other books out!
Tw for panic attacks and homophobia

This was a not really enemies but kind of enemies to coworkers with benefits to love. I enjoyed that the slow burn wasn't so slow that it was painful. I liked the individual character development and the dual point of view aspect. I haven't read the other books in this series and I would say it's not necessary.

Imagine if Ted Lasso and Roy Kent fall in love....
You don't have to imagine anymore, because that is this book. It is loveable and inclusive and steamy and wonderful. Oliver's character isn't one that's stood out to me in the series so far, so I was so stoked to get to know him better. I thought the growth between these two was a perfect mix of vulnerability and authenticity and the novel pacing was great. Normally I'm not a fan of time jumps (four years later, it's been two weeks since, etc) but here it worked really well to build the history between Gavin and Oliver. Tell me love stories about the A-frame all the time, please, Chloe Liese, I'll read every single one.

i love this series with my whole heart. the Bergman family has the best dynamic and watching each of the siblings find love has been so much fun. i've never wanted an A-Frame as much as I do now after having read this series.
Inspired by the amazing show that is Ted Lasso, you have Oliver, the happy go lucky, sunshine, star soccer player and Gavin, the grumpy, veteran soccer star, forced to work together as co-captains for the upcoming professional season. There is so much pining, angst, only one bed and a lovely slow burn romance that sucks you in and has you flipping pages until you finish. Also, the grumpy/sunshine trope is my kryptonite so like, overall I was a very happy reader.
As usual, Chloe delivered on the representation you expect to see in her books. This book includes anxiety and chronic pain. I won't speak to either as I don't have personal experience, but overall I feel both were handled in a respectful manner.
This series continues to be one of my all time favourites and I will continue to convince readers to pick it up every chance I get. Chloe cares so much, not only about her characters but her readers. The care she takes with each book, making sure it's the best it can be, and going back to make changes if it isn't is what makes this series so special. If you're a fan of the rest of the series, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed in Ollie's story.

This book was everything I was hoping it would be - it is a perfect grump-sunshine book. Oliver is the second youngest Bergman sibling. He and Viggo were younger in the books that came earlier in the series - but he is definitely all grown up now. He grew up in a family very much filled with love - but his life hasn't been without struggles and heartbreak. He has anxiety and a serious case of figuring out who he is in the face of his very successful siblings. He's finding his way in professional soccer and within himself as an individual. When he's named co-captain of the professional soccer team he's on - things take a turn.
Gavin, the other captain is ten years older than Oliver and closing in on the end of his career in professional He joined the team a few years ago when his ability to play at the level the European leagues required was not there anymore. He's struggling with the end of his career and in particular his connection to Oliver that he doesn't want. He is seriously grumpy - but you can easily see through it as a shield to the emotional and physical pain he's experiencing.
This book handles their relationship and personal growth so well. It also - as all Chloe Liese books do - handles the physical and emotional issues experienced by the characters in a very authentic and lovely way. I particularly adored how this book continues to break down the walls of toxic masculinity as well.
The entire Bergman family holds a big piece of my heart - and this one was just totally swoonworthy. I can't recommend it highly enough. There are just so many lovely moments in this book - my heart is still warm from reading it.
I received this via NetGalley as an ARC, but these opinions and overly effusive amount of love are all from me!

I posted the following review on my IG account today @theonewhereaimeereads:
When I got approved for an ARC of Everything for You I dropped everything and read it nonstop. That was days ago. For days I have pondered how to formulate my very big feelings about this book into a coherent review for you. Well, I'm a reader, not a writer. So here is what I have to say:
1. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
2. Add this to your TBR ASAP.
I've posted several times about my love for the Bergman series. Each book has been amazing. I love the characters and their stories. Admittedly, my love for books 1-4 had me a bit worried about whether book 5 would be a letdown. How could it live up to the hype? Well, silly, silly me.
Everything for You is a 5⭐️ masterpiece. It is a m/m romance about two professional soccer stars. Tropes include grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, age gap, only one bed. True to Chloe Liese's style her characters are authentic and relatable: one struggles with anxiety and the other is dealing with chronic pain.
Want to laugh out loud? Want your heart to feel like it's both expanding and melting? Read this book! Everything for You will be out May 10. If you haven't begun the Bergman series, now is the time to catch up!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to @chloe_liese and @netgalley for the advanced copy!

Review: Everything for You by Chloe Liese
5 Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3 Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
M/M Sports Romance
Tropes: Grumpy/Sunshine, Only One Bed, Hurt/Comfort, Forced Proximity, Sports, Co-Workers, Rivals to Lovers
CW: anxiety, panic attacks, chronic pain, homophobic slur (not named in text), fear of flying
I have been eagerly awaiting Oliver’s book in the Bergman Brother’s series and could not be more delighted by how it turned out. It might be my new favorite in the series!
I was convinced we were getting a new adult/college sports romance. I was COMPLETELY WRONG lol and I love that! Instead, we get a little time-jump to professional soccer player Ollie and his grumpy older captain, Gavin.
What really worked for me in this book:
- Gavin Hayes is Roy Kent from Ted Lasso and I’m here for that
- The Bergman Family. While you can read these out of order, this book in particular will be so much more meaningful if you read the previous four.
- Caretaking
- Old men playing poker and meddling
- Oliver’s brother Viggo and his big romance heart. Can Viggo please get a time travel romance where he gets to go to Gretna Green?
- Linnea, the almost 4-year-old, is my favorite Bergman. I also want Gavin to make me guacamole.
- Vulnerability and FEELINGS
Chloe Liese has quickly become one of my favorite romance authors. I know that no matter where the story goes, that the care and attention she gives to her characters and her readers will shine through the page. Some examples of this are the inclusion of clear content warnings at the beginning of the book and using phrases like “free of STIs” instead of moralizing ones like “clean”. I also loved seeing adult queer characters that have personal and relationship challenges outside of their sexuality.
Thank you to NetGalley and Chloe Lisese for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. Everything for You will be released on May 10th, 2022.

I’m not sure there will be a Bergman Brothers story that I won’t adore, but this one definitely did not disappoint. This novel follows Oliver, the 6th in age of 7 Bergman siblings. He suffers with anxiety and has closed off his heart after being cheated on by who he thought was “the one.” Now it’s years later, he’s playing soccer professionally, and is the ultimate sunshine to everyone he meets. Everyone loves him, that is except Gavin, his super grumpy co-captain. Gavin is ten years older and at the end of his soccer career, dealing with chronic pain and the fears of what his life will be after soccer. But all he shares with the world is his extreme grumpiness.
This is the ultimate enemies-to-lovers, grump-sunshine, only-one-bed sports romance. As a former athlete, I loved the scenes describing them playing together on the field. There’s something so magical about the trust and silent communication between teammates and when everything is so perfectly in sync. I loved the caretaking scenes while Oliver dealt with his anxiety and Gavin was trying to deal with his pain. I loved getting to catch up with all of the other siblings and see where their lives have taken them. And I loved when the man cub antics came out to play. I could envision every crazy dance move Oliver made in an attempt to crack Gavin’s shell. There were even some Kulti vibes, since Oliver grew up watching Gavin play. And bonus points for all of the Hamilton and Encanto references!
I think what’s so powerful about Chloe’s characters is all the ways they are so relatable to the most vulnerable parts of all of us. You can’t help but feel seen in something the characters are working through. And I cannot wait for the day that Viggo is the one the bat signal is called for and he’s the one in the hot seat of a Bergman Brother summit!

Happy tears, this book made me smile from start to finish
.
If you've never read a Chloe Liese book, this series is ideal, each book is one better than the last. Heartful stories, with different caring characters representing a spectrum of personalities with whom one can identify and relate
.
This is a mens love story between two professional athletes who play soccer on the same team, one with anxiety and the other with chronic pain. The age gap goes perfectly with the sunshine grump duality that opens to vulnerability and the strength in them
.
Ollie is not only the perfect sunshine but also one of the funniest brothers along with Viggo and in the previous books they always made me smile, and with his own story I didn't stop smiling even when he had me on the verge of tears when he opened his heart and lowered the guard. Gavin is the Grumpy for whom it is inevitable to fall in love, always with the guard up, trying to keep his distance after the experience in the difficult world of European football where fame and money play an important role in the lives of athletes
.
In this book one of the biggest plow twists is the passage of time, four years after the last book, Ollie is in a great moment of his career, playing for the LA Galaxy when he is offered to be co-captain with his childhood hero and captain of his team, the problem is that they have been playing together for two years and have never been able to find the right point to get along off the pitch. Despite all Ollie's smiles and good gestures.
.
Gavin is in the last stretch of his career and when he is told that he will be sharing his captain's position with the annoying and happy new star on the rise, he can't avoid feeling that the inevitable end is coming, what he least expect is to end up getting closer to him and getting to know him without the prejudice and the barriers that he usually puts up to protect himself
.
The growth of both characters and how they find each other is something I love about Chloe Liese's books, the representation of characters in which one can reflect and open up. The big plus, the Bergman clan with their family reunions that always leave me with a smile. Every Chloe Liese book is a way to the reader heart.

Thanks to Chloe Liese and Victory Editing for give me this beautiful book in exchange for my honest opinion
.

Chloe Liese keeps knocking it out of the park with her Bergman Brothers series. Everything for You is my new favorite. This book was SO MUCH FUN with the enemies thing Ollie and Gavin had going on in the beginning. Gavin's grump to Ollie's sunshine was, well, everything.
Ollie was this center of positivity on his professional soccer team. His happy disposition and bright clothing made him bigger than life at times. Ollie wasn't always that way, though. He struggled with anxiety and had a desire for his one-time idol to like him. I loved this Bergman brother as much or more than I expected to.
Gavin on the other hand was a big grouch. He was demanding on and off the pitch. His situation and mental anguish over it hit me in the feels. The reason he couldn't stand Ollie was relatable and understandable. I wanted to hate him for how he acted, but all I felt was sympathy. I ended up adoring the gruff man.
Ollie and Gavin had many intense moments throughout this book. Some were angry, some were frustrating, some were tender, some were adorable and sweet. The pressure for them to get along on (and off) the turf was big and their attraction didn't necessarily help all of the time. I loved the way they both warred with their feelings. It made their chemistry and resulting relationship even better. It didn't matter what they were going through either together or against each other. I loved every interaction.
This book wouldn't have been what it was without the help of the Bergman family. It would be hard not to love the Bergman brothers, sisters, parents, significant others, and new additions. Oliver and Viggo's relationship was fun to see through Oliver's eyes. There was also a great moment with his younger sister. My new favorite was Linnea. She was a gem in this story. There wasn't a Bergman I didn't love seeing. If I'm talking side characters, I can't leave out Gavin's friend Mitch and his 70-something posse. Those guys were a hoot!
Obviously, I adored Everything for You. It was a beautiful story. My favorite thing about it was probably the care and concern Oliver and Gavin gave each other and how it strengthened them as a couple. They were everything together. Everything for You was a shut out.

I don't think I have ever hit the "request title" button so fast in my life. I devour all things Chloe Liese. I enjoyed getting Olivers story and THE TROPES, WHEW I looooved the tropes. Overall it was an enjoyable read, but for me, I just didn't feel like there was enough development between the two characters for love to be declared at the end? It just seemed Gavin suddenly decided he would go to therapy and that suddenly fixed everything. While all the moments Oliver and Gavin had together were cute, it didn't seem like enough to me to be so deeply in love. My only other quip was that everyone always had the perfect advice to say that just magically fixed everything. I know it is fiction, but it felt a bit too on the nose to me. While those were my two large complaints, I still overall enjoyed the book and sooo loved being back with the Bergman family. Suddenly, only 7 siblings does not seem like enough, I don't want this series to end!
3.5 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the ARC.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 stars
Everything For You is the fifth installment in the Bergman Brothers series and it is just as sweet, heartwarming, and swoonworthy as the others. This one follows Oliver, who is now a professional soccer player and dealing with his idol-turned-nemesis Gavin. Gavin is a famous player nearing the end of his career and resents Oliver for his youth, talent, and constantly happy demeanor. So it is an age gap, grumpxsunshine, slow burn, enemies to lovers romance and I. Loved. It.
Oliver and Gavin are adorable and their banter gave me life. I always love the grumpxsunshine dynamic and this one delivered. The anxiety and chronic pain rep was lovingly handled and the characters well-written. I loved catching up with previous couples and having Viggo pop in to propel the romance with his historical romance knowledge. I just love this world so much.
Overall, Everything For You is an excellent addition to a beloved series with perfect grumpy/sunshine dynamics and lovable characters. Ted Lasso fans will love this one.
ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Full review to be posted closer to release date.

I will ALWAYS drop whatever I am reading to pick up a new release or ARC of Chloe’s books.
In Oliver and Gavin’s story she takes almost every romance trope puts it into about 350 pages and makes it perfection.
-MM sports romance
- age gap
- one bed
- enemies to lovers
-Grumpy/sunshine (Ted lasso)
-Big/tight knit families (love a Bergman Brother intervention)
-BERGMAN BABIES (love uncle Oliver)
While any of the Bergman books can be read as stand alones, I believe they are best read in order to get the true scope of the family dynamic.
If you have read any of the Bergman books you will also love this one. If you haven’t read any of them….well you are definitely missing out. Chloe is the best there is❤️
Thank you @netgalley and @chloe_liese for the advance copy!

I am OBSESSED with the Bergman Family and Chloe Liese's writing and Oliver Bergman's story only made me more convinced that the Bergman family is Chloe's gift to all of us! All of the Bergman books have brought me happiness and comfort and so much joy and Everything For You was no exception.
In this book we see Oliver, not as an unruly man cub, but as an adult man playing soccer professionally. Oliver is a sunshiny, all smiles on the outside kind of guy, but inside he is a ball of anxiety. For two years Oliver has been teammates with an incredibly grumpy Gavin who was a soccer idol of Oliver's but now, closer to the end of his career than the beginning is dealing with chronic pain and facing what the next phase of his life will be. I mean, that would make anyone grumpy. Everything changes between Oliver and Gavin when their coach makes them co-captains on the team forcing them to work together and deal with their personality differences. When they realize they feel for each other more than just co-captains, or even friends, they both have to learn how to navigate these feelings and how to make a relationship work.
This book is must read if you enjoy:
*a grump/sunshine trope;
*only one bed;
*sports romance;
*the Bergman clan (who all make wonderful appearances);
*Ted Lasso;
*caring for a loved one;
*a grumpy neighbor; and
*m/m romance.
This book was beautiful and wonderful and I cannot sing its praises enough. I love how in each book Chloe doesn't shy away from some of the heavier issues that people face in a relationship and on a daily basis. Instead, she handles each topic a grace and honesty that is unmatched by almost any other author I have read. By this book we have met and learned to love all of the Bergman clan and I loved seeing each of them years later and how their lives have grown and changed.
While some of the other Bergman books have had a sports theme I LOVED that this one was very sports focused and we saw a detailed look at the game, the players, and the challenges that come with playing at such a high level.
Both Ollie and Gavin were wonderfully complex characters with beautiful journeys in this book. I loved seeing how grumpy Gavin was on the outside but how soft he could be around children or when he finally opened up. And Ollie just made my heart soar with his sunshiny demeanor and attitude, but the vulnerability she had when his anxiety got the better of him (something I personally know all about.)
In usual Chloe fashion, this book brought both the heart and the steam and I cannot recommend it enough. I can't wait to read more Bergman books. I wish this family had 100 kids so we never have to leave this world.
Thank you to Chloe and NetGalley for the gifted copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Oliver Bergman, all sunshine and bright colors, has been teammates with soccer legend Gavin Hayes for two years. Gavin is the captain and 10 years older, a veteran player trying to squeeze out every last game before his body can't take anymore and he has to retire. When their coach names Oliver co-captain, the two men can no longer avoid each other. Lots of well intentioned meddling from everyone in their lives keeps throwing them together.
Gavin's grumpy attitude, cursing, and penchant for wearing only dark colors gives off serious Roy Kent vibes and I was here for it. This enemies-to-lovers sports romance had everything I wanted - pranks, one bed, grumpy-sunshine, slow burn, serious steam, and lots of feels.
I think this may be my favorite book in the series and will absolutely become a staple re-read for me.

I love Chloe Liese's Bergman family and I was very excited to get to learn more about "Ollie"/Oliver for book number 5. Up to this point we only know him as the 'Irish twin' to Viggo, together being the family prankster duo. We also know from the Axel/Rooney book that he shows up to the A frame completely devastated and heartbroken. So it was super fun to time jump 4 years later and not only see Oliver's story unfold but to have all the wonderful Bergman family developments tucked in for our collective squeals.
As the author acknowledges, this book has serious "Ted Lasso" vibes and the love interest, Gavin Hayes, has that Roy Kent grump things down to a T. I think in this case, the familiarity of that character works and Liese does a great job of not making Ted Lasso "fan fic" but using at a launching point to develop Gavin's character. I wish some of his back story would have been teased out and developed a little more and that Gavin's choice to be openly gay in the Premier League 10 years prior would have been more of the story, since it seems counter to his bottled up, private character.
To counter the grump, Oliver is full on SUNSHINE. He's Skittles and rainbows and easy smiles for everyone. Of course they are going to chafe each other, of course they are going to fall in love. I can totally buy it. There's a lot of sexual tension and heat in this story but there is even more emotion and relationship building between the main characters. There's a lot of wise advice from family members and a lot of self-reflection. It is just so dang wholesome to see how Oliver is so conscious of the needs of the people around him. He is so careful and caring and mature. It is delightfully sweet.. Do guys really talk to each other and relate like these two? I have not idea, but as a woman, I enjoyed it. Thanks so much for the ARC!!!

Chloe Liese easily became one of my favorite romance authors when I discovered her Bergman Brothers series a year ago and since then I am eagerly waiting for every new release because I just love reading about this family so much.
I think the books get even more fun the farther we are into the series because while I loved reading about every couple and Oliver and Gavin were no exception, I especially loved how we also saw lots of the other Bergman siblings in this book and where they are in life right now. It was so nice to see all these past couples and now I am even more excited about the next books about the last two siblings left.
As usual »Everything For You« was equal parts fun and rom-com and I loved these parts but there were also some heavier topics; Oliver deals with anxiety and Gavin is in chronic pain after years of being a top-class soccer player. I love the mix of getting to laugh with the characters but also them having more heartfelt thoughts and conversations; it's just my favourite kind of romance.
Also, the tropes. Such excellent tropes in this book. A bit of an enemies to lovers situation or more like "I know I have feelings for you but it's easier to not feel them and dislike you instead" and also grump and sunshine and then there's only one bed.
The only thing that would have made this book a 5 star book for me instead of 4 stars is that I would have liked to know more about Gavins past. He clearly struggled with some things and it was just briefly mentioned in the end and I wish it was discussed more and earlier but apart from that - amazing book, would absolutely recommend picking this up (or the first book in the series if you haven't read that already, which you should).

This was a fun, delightful read. I've never read the other books in the series before this, because none of them were m/m so I was obviously missing context for some parts but it read perfectly fine as a stand alone.
I'm usually not a big fan of sports romance books, but I really enjoyed this one. The characters were vividly written, and all of their differing personalities were fantastic. I enjoy books with large casts of eccentric characters, it's the old Gilmore Girls fan inside me, and this one totally provided that.
Of the two leads, Oliver was my favorite. I loved his sense of humor, his gigantic heart, and the love he had for his family. I enjoyed Gavin but I'm not always a fan of his particular character trope archetype.
The queer representation was fantastic, and the disability representation was even more so. In my experience it's rare for a book to excel at one, let alone both of them, so I was wonderfully surprised.
All in all, I enjoyed the time I spent with the book and came away with a smile on my face. If there happens to be another m/m book in the series then I will 100% pick it up.

4.5 stars. The Bergman Brothers is one of my absolute favorite series, and this one is just as good as the others. I love the time jump, the soccer, the relationships between the three youngest Bergmans, and the glimpses we get of the partnered siblings. Gavin and Oliver are so swoony and sweet and intense. Waiting for the next book is going to be tough!

Wow wow wow wow, how do I even BEGIN? Chloe Liese’s romance books are pure magic, and EVERYTHING FOR YOU is no exception. This is the fifth installment in the Bergman Brothers series, and I absolutely adored it.
EVERYTHING FOR YOU is a grumpy/sunshine, queer, sports romance with wonderful anxiety and chronic pain representation. If you like laughing and crying at the same time within a span of a few pages, I cannot recommend Chloe’s books enough. Her prose is so heartwarming and dynamic and emotional, all while balancing swoony-worthy, steamy, and oftentimes hilarious moments.
I loved Oliver and Gavin; Chloe is a dual-POV pro. Each voice was distinct and engrossing. Though readers do not technically have to pick up the previous books in the series prior to this one, the Bergman siblings’ cameos in this installment were some of my favorites. I love this family so much!
EVERYTHING FOR YOU is everything I hoped for and more. Chloe remains one of my favorite contemporary romance authors of all time.
