If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. I loved this book even more than this lactose intolerant anxiety sufferer loves cheese.

The representation in this book is wonderful, as I knew it would be after devouring the four previous Bergman brothers' books. I have never felt so seen when reading a book before as Oliver's anxiety symptoms were so comparable to mine, even down to the stress-eating cheese (a regular occurence in my house!)

This book has leapt to my all time favourites list and I couldn't love it more if I tried. Thank you Chloe for giving us stories about real people navigating life and finding love..

I cannot say enough how much I love her books. I love the care she puts into writing characters that experience realistic life including things like chronic pain and anxiety/panic.

The way the chronic pain was included in this book was really good. I've had chronic pain for 11 years and those parts really resonated with me. I've also had issues with anxiety so those parts did too even though mine haven't been chronic, I will admit that a few anxiety attacks are enough to imagine how hard more frequent ones would be. I'm thankful to authors that shed light on these things and help destigmatize therapy and medication when needed.

M/M romance is not my favorite, but I love the Bergman world so much that I still really enjoyed this book. I especially loved the teammates to lovers aspect as well. I do love a good sports romance. I love how Gavin and Oliver connected in this book. They were there for each other in some really important ways and they both grew so much in this book.

If you haven't read all the books in this series yet I highly recommend them all. They are simply amazing. Ever After Always is still my favorite, but I truly love them all.

I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley for the advanced reading copy! Full disclosure, I have read all the Bergman brothers series by Chloe Liese up to this point, and I love them all dearly. This one did not disappoint and I continue to love Liese and these siblings. Oliver is a star soccer player for the L.A. Galaxy, when the aging superstar Gavin comes to play for the team. But though Oliver thought Gavin would make a great teammate and possible mentor, they do not get along; Gavin is gruff and mean on the field and Oliver resorts to pranking him to get even. Over the course of the story, Oliver and Gavin grow together and in their attraction to one another. This is a kind of Ted Lasso fan fiction of the title character and Roy Kent, which worked great for me as a fan of the show. This is a great enemies-to-lovers romance, but what Liese really does well is show that love can save people from themselves. Gavin has chronic pain from soccer injuries and is hesitant to believe that anyone could love him if he’s not a star soccer player. Oliver has generalized anxiety and panic attacks, and believes that letting people see the true him only detracts from his professionalism and focus. Ultimately both Oliver and Gavin open up to each other, and it’s very much worth the wait. Liese always writes in her author's note about how everyone deserves love, and this is another great example in her storytelling skills of how people can find happiness when they open up and accept the power of love. It’s a sappy but true thought, and Liese really gets it and knows how to portray it on the page. I recommend this book for fans of enemies to lovers, LGBTQ+ romance, soccer, Ted Lasso, and the Bergman siblings.

Oliver and Gavin snuck up on me. But two chapters in and I was getting strong Roy Kent (who I love) and Ted Lasso vibes. I didn’t realize until the end (authors note) that was the very show that inspired Chloe for this book.

Oliver wears his positive attitude like a shield to protect himself from his spiraling thoughts. While Gavin is a grump, who cusses too much, and who holds everyone at arms length by building walls to protect himself. They may seem like opposites but really they are both just protecting themselves, and they are just what the other needs.

“Any you need to do your part, too. Believe in yourself, in your worth, that you’re enough. Because you are.”

I didn’t think going into this that I would resinate with these characters. But man I saw myself in both Gavin and Oliver, and it was everything.

I cannot wait for Viggo’s story, or Ziggy’s whoever is next. But for now I will probably reread Oliver and Gavin’s and soak up a little more of that Bergman magic.

The representation in this book was fantastic, and I always love a good grumpy//sunshine trope! I’m not the biggest fan of an age gap in romance, but honestly I didn’t mind it here

Everything for You
Book 5 in the Bergman Brothers series
Rating: 5 stars
Thank you to the publisher for the ARC given through NetGalley for review. All opinions are my own.

I have read the previous books in the series (with the exception of book 1-I promise I will go back and read it) and I have to say that this one is my favorite!! It was soooo good!!
Everything for you is the story of two soccer players who have been playing together for two years. One of them has been a professional soccer player for a very long time, but due to many injuries he pretty much lives in pain everyday. The other one's career as a soccer player is barely taking off. It is not until the coach makes them co-captains that spark that has been slowing burning finally explodes when they are stuck in situations together.
I really loved this story!! We get Gavin and Oliver's point of view. Their bickering at the beginning was a joy to read because as a reader we get to see that they are really attracted to each other, though they are resisting this attraction for their own reasons. Gavin and Oliver's personalities where so different that their choice of clothing said it all. I loved how they would call each other out in their choice of colors.
I loved to see them butt heads, but also when they slowly begin to know one another and finally understand their feelings. They had many sweet and funny moments! Grumpy Gavin was given many endearing nicknames by Oliver. It was so cute to read Gavin's reaction when Oliver would explain the meaning behind them.
I highly, highly recommend this one!! Plus seeing all of Oliver's siblings and parents were an added bonus!

I already love the Bergman family so much, but with each new book, I fall a little more in love with them! Chloe Liese has done it again... Oliver and Gavin's story was incredible, and if you still haven't started this series, what are you waiting for?

Everything for You is the fifth book in the Bergman brothers' series and follows rising soccer star Oliver and veteran player Gavin. Teammates for two years, they must now put their differences aside to take on their roles as co-captains. While Gavin tries to keep him at arm's length, Oliver chooses to kill him with kindness, but they will slowly realize the attraction is too strong to ignore.

After what was hinted at in With You Forever regarding Oliver, I was eager to dive into his story, and I was not disappointed! Oliver and Gavin definitely gave me some Ted Lasso vibes, and I absolutely loved it! Their story was refreshing and moving, and I devoured it in just a few days. The grumpy/sunshine and enemies to lovers dynamic was well executed, and the slow burn almost ended me. It's safe to say that Oliver and Gavin have joined the list of my favorite couples, just like the previous ones in this series.

It's impossible not to fall in love with Gavin and Oliver. I'm glad Gavin had his point of view because it helped me understand his actions, and it was wonderful to watch his growth throughout the book. He thought people only liked him for his professional career and not for who he was. His story was very touching, and all I wanted to do was hug him. Ollie was very different from Gavin but just as amazing. I've always loved reading about him and Viggo in the previous books, so it was great to learn more about him. He's very kind, caring, and always there to help others, but he sometimes forgets his own happiness and prefers to hide his pain and anxiety behind his smile. As for Gavin, I loved his character development and how his family is there to support him.

The chemistry between Oliver and Gavin was so strong and palpable from the first few pages. They tried to resist their mutual attraction to the point where they couldn't stop thinking about each other. I loved how their relationship developed with forced proximity, even though it remained very natural. Oliver and Gavin were honest about the terms of their relationship at first, but you could see them slowly falling in love with each other. They were patient with each other and so precious together. The last scenes they shared made me so emotional! I love them.

The rest of the Bergman family was much more present in this book than in the previous one, and obviously, I loved their scenes. Since they are closer in age, we saw a lot more of Viggo and Ziggy, and both of them had such a close bond with Oliver. Also, Oliver as an uncle was the cutest thing ever! I always love when family interacts with the love interest, so I wasn't disappointed.

Overall, I had a great time reading Everything for You. I fell in love with Oliver and Gavin, and their grumpy/sunshine dynamic! I'm already looking forward to reading the next book, whether it's Viggo's or Ziggy's, even though I'm a little sad that the series is coming to an end.

Thank you, NetGalley, and of course Chloe for giving me the opportunity to read this jewel. Chloe has become a one-click buy author for me. I love her writing, her way of messing with my emotions, lol. This story was not a disappointment. Honestly, I was hesitant about reading it because I have never ever read LGBTQ romance, but I read anything that Chloe writes and delivers, plus I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Bergman Siblings. Ren will always be my one and only, though. These two gave me all the feelings, grumpy and sunshine, are/is one of my go-to tropes, same for enemies-to-lovers.

I do not want to say more because I'd rather have you discover and enjoy the book the same way I did., go in blind.

have loved the other four books in the Bergman Brothers series and I devoured season one and most of season two of Ted Lasso so it is genuinely no surprise that I find myself here now, having finished Everything for You trying to figure out how to put into words my love of this book. It's just... the characters. They're so well-developed and real and I just wanted to give them both a hug at various points. The community around them. Linnea is the most precious bean. To put it simply, Chloe Liese is utterly brilliant at writing characters who are dealing with loneliness and anxiety.

This book is a grumpy x sunshine romance, but it really breaks down the sunshine aspect of Oliver and, y'all, it is good. So good. Also, just the Bergmans. Like, in general. I love them so much. I know that I'm supposed to deliver a coherent review because I literally requested this book so I could do that, but honestly, I just want to shout that this book is brilliant and Chloe Liese knocked it out of the park and I cannot give you coherency today. So... Anyway, highly recommend!

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm going to need Tiktok to blow up this amazing romance series because Chloe Liese deserves more recognition and sales.

This grumpy X sunshine MM romance about 2 men from the same soccer team who have to learn to work with each other despite their dislike was so good. This series features some of the best and realistic and just overall cozy vibes that I have ever read and this book is no exception.

We follow 2 men who have to share captaincy of their soccer team, they also happen to be neighbors and drive each other up the wall. Slowly they start to open up to each other despite their fears. This is not my favorite book of the series but it was still amazing in how it set up the romance and groveling and the sex scenes that showcase the emotional growth the couple has had throughout the book. I always shed a tear with the couples in this world because they just love each other so strongly and kindly.

I always point out the existence of characters with disabilities in this world, I love how the author has kept on having disabled characters and showing those disabilities throughout the book. Not just mentioning them and then forgetting about it.

I highly recommend this book, this series, and this author. Can't wait for the next book .

I adore Chloe Liese and the Bergman Brothers series, having devoured the first four books in record time. I had that readers remorse when I realised how long I'd have to wait for the fifth instalment, especially after getting a little snippet of Oliver's story at the end of book four.

As with all of Liese' other books I ADORED this one. Thought the series there is so much representation that I think anyone would be hard pressed not to find someone that they related to in some way, shape or form. With You Forever, book four, had been top of my 'favourite in the series' list because it had a character with the same chronic illness as myself and that was the first time I'd witnessed that in a book. Well now I can say that Everything for You probably ties as joint or second favourite (not one book in this series is anything less than stellar FYI!!).

Slowly but surely we're starting to get greater representation of bisexual or sexually fluid characters in books and as someone that is sexually fluid I am here for this!!! The sexual orientation rep in this book was wonderful to see, but I also enjoyed the fact that these two characters were already secure in who they were and their own identities, there was no miscommunication or 'coming out' storyline. That left room for us to fully indulge in the sunshine/grump trope which Liese nailed (no surprise there!).

As with her previous books, Liese' characters are raw and vulnerable in their own ways - fear of rejection, heartbreak, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, careers ending and beginning, trying to find your place in the world, childhood neglect, all of these feature throughout the story and add layer upon layer to the characters. It takes it from 'just' a romance to a romance that goes deeper and I love those (nothing wrong with the 'just a romance' books!).

Whilst Olly and Gavin are the stars of the show, with scorching chemistry and banter, I couldn't get enough of Gavin's geriatric group of friends, Olly's niece and little appearances by the whole Bergman clan.

I think what I've discovered most of all during reading this series is that representation really does matter. It's something we've spoken about a lot over the last few years but I didn't fully appreciate how wide the concept of representation can and should go until I seen anxiety, chronic illness and other topics including sexuality being included into novels as though it were the norm, which it should be. Liese is also so kind, caring, thoughtful and engaging with her readers and community, which makes you feel another sense of connection to her books and characters. She wants her readers to feel seen, to find themselves within the pages of her books and for that I will be forever grateful!

Mentally preparing myself to cry when this series ends!

chloe I literally love you so much

The day I picked up Only When It's Us was the day I did myself a favour. Everything for You was perfect. I have nothing bad to say about it. I had no doubt that Chloe would give me another masterpiece of a romance book but reading it was still a whole experience.

There were so many lines in this that had me pausing and walking away for a second because, honestly, shooting me in the chest would've hurt a little less. Oliver and Gavin were *chef's kiss*. Oliver and the Bergman family have stolen my heart but Oliver and his sunshine energy in this was a breath of fresh air. He has seen his family pair up one by one and he can't help but wonder when his turn will come. Surely not with the grump next door and his co-captain.

That's right everyone. We've got our grumpy sunshine trope, the one-bed trope, a slow burn, a sports romance, AAAND an enemies to lovers ALL IN ONE? AND WE DIDN'T EVEN BEG FOR IT? Chloe is magic and we should all just say thank you.

You should just be a fan of hers anyway but if you're new here... I think fans of Kulti by Mariana Zapata will SALIVATE over this beauty.

That's all my brain can say. I simply have no criticism when it comes to this book. Enjoy it for all it offers.

Do you like grumpy/sunshine? What about meddling siblings? Sports romance? When there’s only one bed?⁣

Well, if you answered yes to any of those questions, this might be the book for you!⁣

Everything for You by Chloe Liese is a wonderful addition to the Bergman Brothers series! Every time I read one of these books, I wish I was a Bergman. I love this family hard!⁣

Oliver and Gavin were the perfect combination of sunshine and grump. Oliver’s sunny disposition could cheer up even the surliest grump. Gavin was adorably grouchy and tried so hard to keep his walls up against Oliver. ⁣

As always, Chloe handles issues like chronic pain and anxiety with care and gives you a better understanding of these issues by making you feel what the character is feeling. I’m always impressed by the emotions her characters bring out in me.

The award for the most meddling sibling goes to Viggo in this book 🏆 followed closely by the rest of the brothers and Aiden for their intervention. ⁣Willa came in pretty clutch too. ❤️

If you love enemies to lovers, great banter, and large family dynamics…don’t miss this one! ⁣

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Bergman Brothers is one of my favorite series of all time. Each book is different but has the same slow burn, tension build up and unique characters you can't help but love.

Everything For You is about Oliver and Gavin. Oliver and Gavin play for the same professional soccer team but have never gotten along. Gavin's a grumpy, professional storm-cloud curmudgeon who's known for his bluntness and his illustrious career back over in Europe. Oliver, on the team for two years, is the team's golden retriever who knows everyone and buys coffee twice a week for them all, even the stadium's security guard. The two have always avoided each other but when they're made co-captains for the season, that's no longer an option. What else can't they avoid? The emotions lying underneath the 'hate' they have for each other.

Another amazing installment of this series. The grumpy/sunshine was so good in this story because they maintain their roles but also you see Gavin get soft for Oliver and show him he doesn't have to be the sunshine guy all the time. The tension and build-up was incredible and we get to see another character who doesn't have a great family life, get wrapped up into Team Bergman. Obsessed.

The Bergmans back! This time we have a grumpy/sunshine romance with Oliver Bergman and his teammate Gavin Hayes, who throws out some strong Roy from Ted Lasso vibes. Not only is this book full of pranks and witty banter, but there are also the sweetest moments (the panic attack scene on the plane 🥺) revolving around anxiety, expectations, vulnerability, and perfection. We also get a Bergman wedding and Bergman babies 😍! I love that we know we’re going to get a funny, emotional read where we fall in love with a character every time Chloe Liese writes a book. She’s just a master.

Thanks so much to Chloe for the gifted copy of this ARC!

WHERE ARE MY TED LASSO FANS AT?!?!

.... because boy, do I have the perfect book for you!!

No surprise at all that I LOVED this. This Bergman family has stolen my heart and each book just keeps getting better and better! If you're looking for:

⚽️ M/M sports romance
⚽️ Grumpy/Sunshine relationship
⚽️ Ted Lasso inspired
⚽️ strong family dynamics

Then you need to read this book! Oliver Bergman is the epitome of Ted Lasso and Gavin Hayes is Roy Kent... I mean... DO I HAVE TO SAY MORE?!

Chloe just has a way of writing characters that suck you in and that stay with you... these two gentleman... I can't get enough of them! Polar opposites that complement each other so dang well. This story will have you smiling, laughing, and in typical Chloe fashion, will also have you feeling ALL OF THE FEELS. Oh and the steam was 🔥🔥🔥!!

Obvs the whole Bergman crew makes more than one appearance - can we all agree that this is a fictional family we all wish was real and that we could hang with? Just me? hope not!

Thank you to NetGalley and Chloe Liese for this ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was such a fun read and the perfect grumpy sunshine, slow burn, sports romance if any of those words peek your fancy.

Something unique about this book I enjoyed that I have not read about much in any other romances is the effect professional sports can have on one's body at the end of someone's career. How the 2 characters balance not only mental and emotional wellness, but physical wellness was refreshing and important to read.

My one critique of the novel was that while it is a slow burn there are sections of the book near the beginning and middle where the pacing feels quite slow. That being said I still really enjoyed this novel and would recommend to anyone looking for a great romance fix!

Thank you to Chloe Liese and Netgalley for providing me with an Advanced Copy!

Oliver and Gavin's story was exquisite. I'll admit, I've always had specific favourites in the Bergman family and Oliver wasn't really one of them, but he grew on me so quickly and now I adore him.

This is one of the best executions I've seen of the enemies to lovers trope in contemporary romance! I thought the build-up was really well-paced and the banter remained even after they started falling in love.

My only two qualms with this book are the fact that while Oliver is said to go through anxiety, it is only actually addressed once or twice in the book and left aside after the first half, which I thought was a shame. And secondly, I mean it's not really a complaint because I love all of the Bergman family but all the previous siblings got a Happily Ever After scene at some point in the book. While it was nice to see all of them I feel like they were all rushed together to get to their next milestones (which, fair, there are a lot of books and you need to get the story moving)

All in all, I still loved this!! And the spice is top-notch as usual; I thought Chloe's portrayal of gay sex was really well researched and well portrayed.

If you've read the previous Bergman Brothers books, you'll love the shit out of this one! If you haven't read the previous Bergman Brothers books but want to read Oliver and Gavin's story, that is possible and you'll still love the shit out of it!!

Oooooh this was such a good romance.

It’s so important to have queer love stories in settings like sports. This book just completely challenges the idea of toxic masculinity in sports and indeed in general society. I adore the fact that the Bergman brothers talk about their feelings together, show lots of affection and that one of them in particular has a romance novel obsession.

The romance was a classic Grumpy/Sunshine dynamic which is one of my favourite tropes. Both grumpy Gavin and optimistic Oliver are equally loveable, even though there’s times where you wanna be like, ‘just talk to each other more!

I really enjoy how the author plays with the idea of the romance novel and makes fun of itself a little. The ‘Only One Bed’ moment is a particular highlight.

I think I’m gonna have to go back and look at the rest of the series. It worked absolutely fine as a stand alone, but definitely want to meet the other Bergman siblings! Really enjoyable romance read!
