I loooooveeee this series and am forever wishing it had been around when I was a child, I get so much joy in recommending it to parents and children alike as not only is it diverse but it's wonderfully magical and this latest in the series is no different!

I'm also a big fan of the messages within these books, such as Aziza's doubts being upended by her friends and their support.

All in all, this is a fun and immersive read that's perfect for the summer! I can't recommend it, and the series, enough!

Thank you so much to Macmillan children’s books and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

As Aziza is getting ready for her camping holiday with her family she notices her fairy door is shining again where she is whisked away to the Shimmerton beach. The Gigglers are instantly up to trouble as always, while Peri and Tiko have a mermaid friend by their side. Then a shell-walker is let loose Sirena helps the group go underwater for a magical adventure.

This was so adorable, I always love this series there is something so magical about it. I love all the fun adventures that we go on, and all the new mythological creatures we meet along the way.

This one was really fun as we got to meet a mermaid and go under the sea, though it wasn’t always easy and Aziza found areas difficult or there were things she felt she couldn’t do, her friends were there to guide her and make her feel safe and that she can do anything.

The shell-walker was hilarious sucking up all the items and causing so much havoc, it’s typical that the Gigglers caused all the drama always so funny. It was such a fun summer story, filled with magic, wonderful creatures, friendship, adventures and so much more.

If you are looking for a really magical and fun series for your children I do recommend the Aziza’s Secret Fairy Door series, they will not disappoint at all. They are so magical and so much fun, your children will love escaping into Shimmerton.
