I loved this Book Club Kit for By the Book by Jasmine Guillory. The questions are perfect for a book club, the extras are wonderful, and the downloads are fun. I highly recommend this type of kit for future books.

Another wonderfully done Beauty and The Beast retelling for og disney lovers to devour. i loved how both or mic’s were in the book realm and all the disney elements were such a special treat to come across (especially for a princess belle type of gal growing up). the characters and details were so fun, although i found the plot to be a little too unrealistic and the romance was VERY slow burn compared to some of her other novels. overall would recommend for a disney lover looking for a cute ya romance to dive into

The Q&A with the author is exactly what you need after finishing a story that grabs you in so much that you need to know more, what inspired their writing, the characters and the story. Having recipes and references which link to situations within the story helps the reader to recreate moments they've loved and feel even more connected with the characters.
Being able to make quick links between similar books and further books by the author. Fantastic resource!

First of all, I LOVE the idea of a Book Club Kit! I am a huge Jasmine Guillory fan so reading her answers to the Q&A was so much fun! Getting the author’s insight adds to any book discussion.
I can picture the evening now… a night surrounded by bookish friends, wearing name tags with our pen names (thanks to the kit’s generator). We will discuss the story while making mini charcuterie boards. Then we will sit around gossiping with margaritas in hand & mulling over our next book pick with the recommendations listed.
That said, I do wonder if there could be more virtual activities in the kit. Throughout the last few years, book lovers have been uniting virtually from all over the world. I think adding some activities that fit their needs would take the kit to the next level.
Overall, I so enjoyed this Book Club Kit and I hope they continue to be shared.

This is a very good resource. Definitely useful even if you're reading the book on your own. I enjoyed this book a lot even though it was my first experience with this author.

This a great kit to accompany the book, By The Book which is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. This is not the actual book, however it is great to help lead a book club or buddy read of the book.

This was my first Book Club Kit and it was really interesting! I had just finished my ARC of By the Book, and I thought the interviews (both with the author and the cover designer) were really interesting. And I liked the discussion questions, too! I will definitely look to see if there are Book Club Kits for book I read and review in the future - what an awesome resource!

This was a very cute addition to the By the Book ARC. I appreciate the extra information and will be using it to drum up conversation when I discuss the book with people.

I love the book club guides! This guide was really special because it included an interview with a cover designer which I have never experienced! It was really cool to know how a cover is designed. I also loved the recipes and activities at the end!

This book has good information on the author, Jasmine Guillory, and on writing in general. The book discussion questions are good. I think readers would enjoy learning about book covers and how they come about. For those wanting to write themselves, the writing exercises are very helpful. I like that Beau (the writer) offers some prompts as a writer, and Izzy, (the editor) offers additional prompts to get the writer started.

I used this for my own book club. It was very organized and helped create new conversations and discussions. I will keep this readily available.
