An informative, expansive look at Canada with breathtaking photography. The pictures of the Atlantic Puffins is reason enough to add this beautiful book to your travel library.

The pictures in this book are absolutely beautiful. It makes me want to take a trip across Canada.

Ohhh this book is a joy! (And not just because it includes a picture of Green Gables Heritage Place on Prince Edward Island...and sled dogs in Ontario and Quebec...but those are an added bonus.) :) If I didn't already know I need to visit PEI, this only solidified it!

The photography is truly gorgeous, and includes nature, homes, cities, architecture in all forms, even root cellars and foods--the whole nine yards. (I'm eager to try quidi vidi and a Jiggs dinner now!)

The variety of landscapes frankly amazed me--shocking, as I know intellectually that the country is even wider than the US...but seeing the pictures really brought that knowledge to fruition. I would like to see a moose in real life one day (from very far away)! And I love that puffins are in Canada too--a familiar sight from my favorite beach town stateside.

My one complaint would be that with the myriad pictures included of Vancouver (both the city and the island), there was only one of Victoria--suitably, Butchart Gardens, but still. One could easily (in my very humble opinion) have cut back on the Vancouver city pictures and included more of Victoria; but, I will say, Vic is one of my favorite places to visit and I find it much more fun and charming than its larger neighbor. This is the only reason I give the book 4 stars out of 5: the rest is quite enjoyable and, seemingly, comprehensive--though I do feel a bit skeptical now.

Absolutely stunning and breathtaking photos throughout. This will make you want to book a flight to Canada immediately and then travel from one side to the other. Amazing sights to see throughout and I definitely have a few more places to add to my bucket list thanks to this book! Highly recommend reading!
