What a cute book for anyone who loves puppies! I read it with my son and he absolutely loved the story and the pictures. Would definitely recommend!

A book for the littlest toddlers

This book uses very simple, repetitive language, making it ideal for very small toddlers as a very early book, to get into reading and turning pages. Cute illustrations.

The youngest puppy lovers are sure to enjoy spending time with this book. The text is repetitive and simple so just right for the toddler mindset. The illustrations are sweet and engaging. The puppy is just the right degree of mischievous.

The only difficulty in reviewing this ARC is that it is an e book. I would love to be able to have the full experience of lifting the flaps.

For youngsters who are still getting used to having books in their hands, interacting with them and paying them due attention, this bright little thing will be more than suitable. Just a few brief questions querying what our puppies will do with particular things and in specific situations mean we have to lift large flaps to find the answers. There's little wrong with this – it's for people so small you can have puppies in their books without them demanding their family own one!
