I just could not get interest in this story.. Set in a family winery and a second chance at love just didn't grab me. Sorry.

'Bouquet' seems to be the last book in the series of which I have so far only read one book called 'Blush'. Each book features the story and romance of a Price family sibling and it is the sister Liz's turn in this final installment to find her second chance at a happily ever after.

A well written, clean, small town, second chance romance, this book series can surely be adapted as a TV series. I also like how the one word title of each book is a nod to the family's wine making business which makes up the backdrop of all the books.

I received an e-Arc of the book from the publisher Author Collective 20/MC Two Press and the author Lucinda Race via NetGalley.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Liza and Drew. Liza and Drew meet at one of her family’s party. Drew is a friend of a couple of her brothers. Liza is a widow, has two sons and is an event planner. Drew has several companies and works for several charities. Their is a mutual attraction. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

I enjoyed it but it's part of a series and I felt a bit confused as I didn't know the backstories and who was who.
When I was able to understand who was who the story was quite enjoyable and I liked it .
It's a good story but it's better not to read it as a stand alone.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

I am not a fan of the authors writing style and I found the way Liza and he kids acted and spoke just in general rally unbelievable. I also just found out this is not the first book in a series of intertwined standalone so your are kind of just thrown in there with no real back story give on the characters because it is all probably gone over in previous book. I was quite bored by the story as well maybe ill try read the first few book than give it another go but for now I don't think I will pick it back up anytime soon.

This is the first time I have read this author and I really loved this story of the Price family. This one centered on Liza The youngest sister who was a widow with 2 children and is an event planner. This family gets together all the time and this is how she met Drew. This is a VERY GOOD READ. I don't like to use spoilers and just feel that you should read it.

I felt at a disadvantage when reading this book before the others in the series, so learning who all the players were was overwhelming and took some of the enjoyment out of the book. I also found that the book failed to grab my attention totally until around the seventieth percentage, the urgency to devour the book was lacking with days passing without reading .The gravity of the story gave some realism to the plot and the characters were adequately presented to develop some level of familiarity and relevance. Liza was strong, stubborn and resilient while Drew was that quiet , steady presence you sensed in the background, waiting for when you'll need him. I found their synergism was spot on for the challenges they faced, and in general they were a good choice for a partnership and long-term relationship.

This was an awesome second chance at love for a widow and her two sons with a lonely family friend. In this story we meet widow Liza Bradford who is raising 2 boys alone after the death of her husband. She is starting to be lonely and thats when she looks at Drew as maybe he can be something more than just a family friend.

As they get closer Drew is there for Liza when she needs him and even when she doesn't. I enjoyed watching these two fall for each other and become a family.

This was a wonderfully written story with an older couple who both are lonely and wanting a connection.

A lovely edition to this series which can be read as a stand-alone. A second chance romance for widow Liza who has been coming to terms with raising her two delightful sons and her new business after the death of her husband, she has come to know Drew as a family friend but they become closer as he helps to take the load when Johnny falls sick and her van develops problems. Encouraged by family they make a go of following through on their feelings for each other, and building a relationship . I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

Bouquet
by Lucinda Race

Liza Bradford is raising her 2 sons alone after the death of her husband. Drew Cameron is a family friend who’s paths have crossed on a few family social events . This book follows the gentle journey that their slow burn romance follows while Liza gets used to the idea of romance after many years of just her and her boys.

A very enjoyable gentle romance with a young widow juggle family job and an unexpected romance.

A second chance blooms for widow Liza but will her insecurities crush love’s bouquet? Liza’s husband died five years ago yet she can’t picture herself dating another man. Who has time? Certainly not her, raising two rambunctious boys while running her wedding planning business. But a few random meetings with Drew change all that. With some nudging from her soon-to-be sister-in-law and other family members, she asks him out for a drink. Things just seem to click with him, but Liza’s insecurities and independence keep her heart protected. If she opens her heart to Drew, what does that mean for her sons? They agree to take their relationship slow and easy. Every roadblock Liza puts up, Drew and her talk through it. He’s the most patient man and claims to love her but can Liza believe him? Can she truly find a second chance at love?

Bouquet is a beautiful modern-day romance about second chances, finding love later in life, and family. Throughout this series, I’ve watched Liza grow and I knew her time to find love would come. Drew is the perfect match for Liza for many reasons but mainly for his ability to reach her when she retreats into her shell. Liza deals with a lot throughout this book and each time she overcomes something, I cheered. The kids are adorable characters, well-written with an authentic feel, and they brought an honesty I found refreshing. The topic of diabetes is well described and presented in a way that reflects life. The romance is slow-burn but considering the heroine, it’s the right choice. I enjoyed watching Liza and Drew fall in love, become a couple then a family before getting their HEA. If you are a fan of realistic single-mom romance, pick up Bouquet. If you’re looking for a romance with all the feels, you’ll want to read Bouquet. Brilliantly written, Lucinda Race is an author on the rise. Perfect for fans of Hallmark Channel romances. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful story. Liza and Drew make for a great relationship. Her 2 sons add greatly to the story and her extended family round out the cast. I was so sorry to see it end. Have to read more from this author

Bouquet was another one I could not put down and devoured in one sitting. I absolutely recommend this book. Be ready for an afternoon or evening of completely neglecting any chores as this one will have you hooked within the first chapter.

I thought this was an okay story. The concept of the story is what grasped my attention thanks to the blurb, but I had a hard time staying interested in this one. I tried twice. I simply gave up and skipped to the very end just to read the the conclusion.

This is a sweet love story that is all about a second chance at happiness. Liza lost her husband five years ago and has been raising her two amazing sons on her own. She is finally starting to feel like she is ready to move on and one person in particular has caught her eye. Drew first met her through his old college friend Colin. As soon as Drew saw Liza he knew that she was the one he has been waiting for. He just had to be patient and make sure that she was ready before he made a move. She shocks him by making a bold move and asking him out before he could. They have an instant connection and they build a relationship from there. There are a few bumps in the road but they make it through to the fairytale ending. This was a great summer read! I was given an ARC trough NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Bouquet is the seventh book in the Crescent Lake Winery series. Liza Bradford is a wedding planner and the mother to two preteen sons. She lost her husband five years before and has started to miss having a companion. Her children and her business keep her very busy, but maybe it's time to start dating again. Andrew (Drew) Cameron is a frequent attendee of her family's get togethers and has had an interest in Liza since he first met her. She decides to take the first step and asks him to meet for a drink. The budding romance has the whole family hoping for more.

I enjoy second chance romances and this one was a fun and quick read. This book works well as a stand alone novel, but I love series and will read the other Crescent Lake Winery books very soon.

Thank you to to Lucina Race, MC Two Press, and NetGalley for the e-ARC and the opportunity to read and review this novel.

I didn't realize this book is part of a series, recommend reading in order, but I was able to follow the story . loved the characters.

Liza didn’t think she would find love again after her husbands passing, five years ago. Especially with her brother’s best friend. But could something be there? Drew has always loved Liza and will do anything and everything for her and her sons.
I found this to be a cute, quick read. No drama, just a romantic happily ever after. There are other books before this that should be read before, but it’s ok if you don’t.

I graciously received an advance e-copy from Netgalley for review. All opinions are my own.

Sweet romance!

This book is part of a series, but I didn’t feel lost at all since I hadn’t read the prior books. It can definitely be read as a standalone but it would be fun to read the previous books to learn how each of the couples got together.

This is Liza and Drew’s story. Liza is a young widow with two young, energetic boys. Her husband died five years ago, and in that time she concentrated on raising her boys and growing her event planning business. Drew is a good guy who hasn’t settled for less than he wanted in a woman, but when he met Liza he knew she was for him.

The story is sweet, clean and a fast read. Small town, big nosy family who supports each other to the end. Highly recommend.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.
