Books like this make me realise again why I love reading, totally enjoyable with no hassles attached, loved it

I didn’t love this title. I resented the husband, who ultimately opened the relationship and then treated his wife poorly for the entirety of the story. I saw zero character growth in him - he was in fact abusive and expected his wife to suck it up. The writing was good, but the story made me uneasy and disengaged.

I found this book to ne enjoyable, more so in some parts than others. I found that some parts of the book kept my attention wholeheasrtedly and others seemed slow and drawn out. I liked the premise of the storyline though and I thpught the characters were well developed. A 3.5 star read but if I had enjoyed it all it would have been 4 stars.

An interesting read, I found this book to be super hit or miss. There were parts that I was very invested in, but other parts where I struggled to stay engaged. I couldn't really find myself rooting for either Fay or Steve, but I did find the storyline interesting and very unique, and the characters developed out pretty well.
