Quizzes for Rebel Girls is an activity book chock full of aptitude and personality quizzes to help asses and grow the minds of young (and older!) people. It helps learn about your place in the world and different ways people can learn or think.
The Rebel girls brand is nationally known for its contributions of inspiration and empowerment for girls as they find their place in this world. Quizzes for Rebel Girls is a nonfiction activity book jam packed with quizzes, ready to serve as an arsenal in the toolkit of the Rebel girls brand to arm young girls with tools to discover traits and strengths that make them unique individuals.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. The quizzes were great cause they weren’t your typical quizzes and it kind of made you think. I like the colors and the various quiz setups. I like how there are so many rebel women and girls from sports to music to artists and so forth.
My daughter loves this book series and really loves quizzes so this was pretty much a no brainer that she'd love it and she did!!
This is really cute! I love this book, very inclusive and relevating.
The quizzes inside are absolutely adorable, very sweet and cute. While I have an ebook of this, I did a few quizzes myself and they're pretty entertaining. Can't wait to buy a paper copy, definetely a new gift idea to my younger sister this Christmas.
This is an excellent book for young girls. We have the other two copies of Rebel girls books and so when I told my 11-year-old twin girls about the new book, they were both keen to do the quizzes and learn a little about what their affinities lie in various different fields. We completed 25% of the quizzes in one go, which was brilliant because I wasn't sure we would get through it. In most of the things that my kids are interested in, the quiz (so far) and answer key reflected their character and I guess somewhat affirmed their beliefs about themselves. However, things they clearly still aren't sure about, the answers came back mixed. Either way, they found this book fun and engaging. The variations of the trail vs answer style questions also made it more interesting. Brilliant indoor rainy activity.
One of my daughters did ask if it could be an online quiz so that it could be even more interactive, that might work as kids these days do love the online aspect of things. Looking forward to finishing it this week!
I used to love taking these types of quizzes when I was younger. So I'm sure my younger self would have absolutely loved this book. I liked the inclusion of information about various women, though sometimes I felt the information felt a bit forced and didn't quite work where it was placed. But it is a good start to learning about people that could be further researched. A nice addition to the collection of Rebel Girl books.
Thanks to @netgalley & @rebelgirls for the opportunity to read this e-Advanced Reader Copy of Quizzes for Rebel Girls.
It's such a fun book! I love that it helps young women discover all the different skill sets they have and the potential incredible careers it could lead to! This is the inspiring book I wish I had as a child/teenager/young woman to consider all the different opportunities available to me! I'd strongly recommend this to any child or young woman - such a worthwhile read!

I like the variety of quizzes. Many of them aren't stereotypical and explore a vast array of possibilities for young women. However, part of it felt like a cheap Cosmo knockoff for middle-schoolers. There's no depth/substance to the feedback and additional resources.
This is definitely more of an activity book. I went through and did all the quizzes, some were more accurate than others. This could be fun activity for a little girl to work on. I can also see this perhaps being more targeted toward a young reader than some of the other books. It took me about an hour to work up all the quizzes. If I were to buy this it would be more as a gift idea for a young one more than myself. This series of books always deserve applause for bringing attention to those who may be unrecognized because of their gender or race. Review posted to Goodreads, Amazon, Litsy, LibraryThing, Instagram.
Thanks to the authors and Netgalley for allowing me to read this.
This Quiz book doesn't have your regular general knowledge questions......Its full of funny and interesting questions that really makes you think! They have everything from what your role in Hollywood would be to what your superpower would be! This was such a fun read would definitely recommend to everyone! 3.5 stars ⭐⭐⭐✨
We are a Rebel Girls fam. I enjoyed the quizzes. This would be a good book for tween groups but I think younger kids would enjoy it too.
That’s great!
This is perfect for some younger readers - we all love quizzes, tests and activities about the personality features.
Awesome even for older girls (I’m admitted I have completed all of these as well)
Rebel Girls Series
I absolutely ADORE this series. The artwork is gorgeous! The inspiration to be a REBEL girl & make the world a better place by dreaming big and showing examples of “girls” who took that dream & acted on it!

I love the concept of the Rebel Girls books and this one is just as colorful as all the others.
The quizzes are fun, even for older rebels. What I really like is the fact that there are no wrong answers or choices. Every answer leads to a result and although these kind of quizzes are not to be taken as gospel, they can provide a tiny push in the right direction and inspire someone to choose a certain career path.
A nice and colorful book that provides entertainment and information as well.
“Quizzes for Rebel Girls is packed with 50+ quizzes guiding girls to discover the traits, strengths, and habits that make them unique. The quirky questions in this book will help curious readers explore their personalities, forecast their futures, and find common ground with extraordinary women who’ve come before. Colorful illustrations bring this book to life and make it extra fun to share with friends and family!“
I’m glad to see that this is sold as a paperback. It definitely has a YM magazine vibe, vs the other hardbacks in the series.
Like the others, this book has great illustrations and (bite-sized) information about interesting women.
It’s also, as the title implies, chalk-full of quizzes.
Some fun. Some more serious.
What Lights Up Your Learning?
Which Body of Water Would You Be?
Are You a Creature of Habit?
What Pet Should You Get?
What kind of Changemaker are you?
If you’re a Rebel Girl completionist, you might want to check this one out.
If you’re married to the original format, maybe give this one a pass.

Much thanks to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for this fun ARC.
This was ok but definitely not my favourite of the Rebel Girl series. I think I expected so,e thing a little different as well.
OK, I admit it… I’m completely obsessed with Rebel Girls! I am buying multiple copies of this handbook, along with all of the other publications, and using it as my “go to “gift for birthday and bat mitzvah presents for all the young ladies in my life forever!
It’s not just the title, in fact, “rebel” had never had a particularly positive connotation in my mind before. But, suggesting that young women understand that’s ok, and sometimes even admirable, to rebel against the norm and forge their own paths could be quite a powerful tool for them.
I love how inclusive the books are, women from different fields, countries, backgrounds, and eras are included. Ultimately, there is someone for each unique girl to admire.
The layout is modern and eye catching. The text is accessible to all readers. This is a “feel good” book that can also be fodder for many, many conversations, and future explorations.
I had so much fun with this book!! It’s very reminiscent of the magazine quizzes I loved as a kid that turned me into the Buzzfeed quiz girlie I am today.
This selection has a fun variety of quiz topics ranging from what kind of student you are to, to which animal represents you, to the many possibilities of who you could grow up to be as well as types (flow charts, point based, and good ‘ole mostly A’s/B’s/C’s). And it wouldn’t be a Rebel Girls book without the beautiful artwork and the inspiring anecdotes and fun facts about the women in history who paved the path to get us to where we are today.
This is definitely the kind of book that I would’ve gone bananas over as a child and I can imagine many kids having that same reaction today (and some adults too, don’t play with me). These quizzes will provide a fun and entertaining way to bond with others and pass the time while reminding its audience that the world is far bigger than they realize and that they have the potential to truly achieve anything they set their minds to.
Thanks to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for sending me a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review. Quizzes for Rebel Girls is now available for sale at major book retailers.
Who doesn’t love taking quizzes that will tell you about yourself? Quizzes for Rebel Girls incorporates dozens of fun quizzes with references to the inspiring girls and women featured in their book series. The quizzes cover a wide variety of topics, so there should be something here for everyone. The pages are colorful, with small illustrations to go with each quiz. This book is more entertainment where other books in the Rebel Girls series are educational, but I could easily see this book inspiring girls to go out and learn about some of the women mentioned in this book, if they are not already familiar with them. I would recommend this book for the girls in your life!
Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an ARC of this book.
