Read this and tell me it wouldn't make the best slumber party tool for any lucky parent's arsenal! I did this with all of the kids and I was shocked at how everyone answered and their scores.

My middle girls are begging for a copy before they have their "first official slumber party" because they thought it was so cool and can't wait to see how their friends do on the different quizzes.
There are no truly wrong answers or "bad" scores, because this wonderful series builds girls and women up in the best way possible. It shows the beauty of how differences are wonderful and just because you are one way, you aren't any less powerful in the world.

As with other books in the series, this focuses on powerful, inspirational women through the use of quizzes. Brilliantly orchestrated and illustrated this is going to be a much read addition to the class library. I love the STEM element which is much needed as a tool to engage girls into thinking about possible career paths.
First rate. Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the e-ARC to review.

A book full of quizzes? Yes please!
If you were a teen in the 2000's like me you'll recall the plethora of teen magazine quizzes we indulged in during sleepovers and hang outs with our friends - well, imagine a book filled with that only this time they are positive, uplifting and inspiring.

Quizzes for Rebel Girls compliments any of the Rebel girls books adding in the inspirational women from past and present with a splash of interactive fun.

Easy to read, wonderfully illustrated (as always!) and highly entertaining, another perfect gift idea for the tween or teen in your life.

I was gifted a digital copy of Quizzes for Rebel Girls in exchange for a fair and honest review - Now I will return to the quizzes I'd quite like to find out which change maker I am!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book in exchange of my honest opinion.

It's no secret that I love Rebel Girls. I have read plenty of their books and I always find new amazing people that achieved great things.

This book here, though, it is a bit different! It is full on fun quizzes!

I had so much fun doing them and finding out things about my inner Rebel Girl!

It is definitely a very entertaining book for young and adults!

Rebel girls is a great book series each book help your child get to know herself and her likes in dislikes. The questions have multiple choice answers that will lead to discussions as it does with my girls. I really enjoy these books with my daughters and it’s a book I highly recommend. You will get to know your daughter better and she will get to know her self. I receive this book from NetGalley and the publisher and I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are definitely my own.

I've always had a clear idea of what I wanted to do when I was younger but if I wasn't so sure I think this book would have been a great help to figure it all out.

Through countless of quizzes, you're lead to choose the subjects that interest you more and in which you would have a great chance succeeding, in a way that is both enlightening and very fun too !

It's very accessible and the drawings are as beautiful as ever ! I believe it would make a great gift, especially if you don't know the kid very well :)

Thank you to Netgalley and Rebel Girls for the ARC !

I received an electronic ARC from Rebel Girls through NetGalley.
This book is a departure from many in this set. Readers are challenged to take these quizzes to figure out where their strengths and interests fall. They can do this at the same time or take their time and work through them separately. Rebel Girls did excellent research (as expected) to assemble these questions to help girls of all ages figure out their futures.
Looking forward to sharing this with the Rebel Girls in our life.

I have read, reviewed and recommended many titles in the Rebel Girls series and this book is another welcome addition to their collection. This time, readers will not find stories of well known women and girls, but rather, will learn more about themselves through quizzes. Some of these include

Gutsy Globe-Trotter or Hometown Hero?

Are You a Morning Glory or a Night Owl?

Team Player or Solo Star?

What Pet Should You Get?

and many more.

This book would make a great summer project and the knowledge earned may well help its readers. Girls can also quiz those around them and see how well they can predict their answers. All in all, I like this brightly illustrated book.

Many thanks to Rebel Girls and NetGalley for this title. all opinions are my own.

I really like this one. It was a bit nostalgic in the sense it was like the quizzes you used to take in magazines when you were a preteen/teen to the random themes like relationships, Halloween costumes, and more. I liked how the various women that were mentioned within other collections of Rebel Girls were used within the quizzes. In addition, there were questions that did not have a direction mentioning women from other collections, but were just a question for the reader to reflect on. My biggest critique is that the consistent quizzes were repetitive, so trying to read this in one sitting or day is boring. If you are going to read this work maybe doing a quiz or two a day would be more useful.

Of course I did all the quizzes…. I am a wild world traveller to start with ;-). I feel flexible with regards to morning or evening tasks, sometimes I will stay up late to finish something and sometimes I will set my alarm on a terrible early time. With regards to being creative I apparently should be a costume designer! I’m a regal rose flower, a bit quiet on the outside but inside I have a passion that could match opera singer Maria Callas’s soulfull sound. And just as a rose’s thorns protects its delicate leaves I protect and stand up for others. In the quiz which animal I connect with the most, I appear to be an otter, which is funny as that’s my last name. Meaning that I’ve got enthusiasm for lots of things and really enjoy talking with friends. A lot of the tests gave me mixed answers there was just one quiz at which I answered all answers with a c making me a feline friend, and yes I do love cats, I had one once but am allergic unfortunately so I will not have a feline friend in my house to give me cuddles. Be prepared to know that the masterpiece I will once write will be a cooking book….combining my love for cooking and food with books seems very logical to me. I loved to find out that I am super spontaneous, a river rider and that I’m going green!
I really enjoyed doing all the quizzes and as I of course also read all answers there is never a wrong answer, all final answers turned out positive one way or the other. I think that’s very good as in real life there is also not only one way but multiple way’s to get to where you want to be.

I adore the Rebel Girls books. This one is no exception. Quizzes for Rebel Girls is more of a companion book to the overall series. It is filled with fun quizzes that cover a variety of topics including STEM. One of my favorite parts of this book is the artwork. It is absolutely gorgeous and supports the quizzes well. As someone who still enjoys fun quizzes as an adult, I would have eaten these up as a kid. I really recommend this title. While the ebook was doable, I really recommend a physical paper copy.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eArch and the amazing time I had reading, completing quizzes and reviewing Quizzes for Rebel Girls

Title: Quizzes for Rebel Girls
Written by: Rebel Girls
Pub Date: 09 Aug 2022
Genre: Children's Nonfiction | Middle Grade

A book of quizzes that tell girls what they are. From the type of person they are to what animal would they be.

This is the kind of thing I loved as a teenager. I would often carry a copy of a teen mag around in my school bag so I could as my friends and sisters the quizzes. Most of the time we all got something different but it was fun to see who got what.

Before you ask on Which Animal are you I got Golden Retriever, as if you expected anything other then a fabulous and loyal K-9.

The kind of book that you pick up when you are bored and struggle to put down again. The art is amazing as ever. And if I'm not wrong it is art from the previous Rebel Girls books, which I love the idea of.

I would probably recommend the paper copy as the format changes from portrait to landscape which is a little difficult with the e copy.

I wish i had this quizzes book growing up. I would have loved to talk about it with my friends and/or my mum. When I was younger (who am i kidding. From time to time i still do such quizzes) I loved doing quizzes to find out which Promi I am most likely, what part of the friend group I am, what my spirit animal is and so on and so forth.

I received an eARC copy from Rebel Girls via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Quizzes for Rebel Girls brought back my childhood memories of when I sat down with my friends to discuss the given options and why one was better than the other. However, these quizzes are different from what we used to find in newspapers and magazines. These are far from superficial, simple questions; they are on point, educational and developing. Here, through questioning, thinking, considering, deduction, colours, and characters' portraits, emerge the affinities and possibilities young girls will have in the future. This read is encouraging and inspirational; it tackles many topics and concerns we question and need to discuss nowadays. It may be an activity book, but it demands children to think about themselves, broaden their views, self-reflect, and take action in various fields.

“The quizzes are really fun to explore your personality and see what you find out about yourself!” - my 8 year old daughter.

A quiz book for girls with information about women who are leaders in their field is:
A. A great plan for bedtime reading
B. A lot of fun for parents and kids
C. A great way to inspire young women
D. All of the above.

My daughter and I had a ton of fun with this book. It is colorful and full of information about strong female role models. Each night she’d eagerly ask to do 1-3 quizzes. Some of my daughter’s favorites were “What’s your STEM style?” “Which Pet should you get?” And “What’s your role in Hollywood?”

She’s already begging for me to order this for her when it comes out in August. She gives it a “million bajillion stars”. It should be on the “must buy” list for 8-12 year old girls for fun factor and educational component.

My daughter and I often read "Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls" and were excited to read an ARC of "Quizzes for Rebel Girls." She LOVED it! The quizzes were real (not superficial ones that were often found in magazines as I was growing up) and educational. For instance, "In studying, chimpanzees, Jane Goodall discovered that, like humans, they have their own rituals. What special ritual would you do to feel lucky?" So, as the girls are learning about themselves, they're also learning about other women/girls in history. The illustrations, like the books, are fun, colorful, and accurately portray the character being discussed. My only complaint is that I wish there were more because we breezed right through these! Here's to another edition of "Quizzes for Rebel Girls!"

Quizzes for girls, women, and others that aren't about expected answers but to stimulate imagination and daring. There are countless examples of women who challenged themselves to become more of who they are, and the questions are positioned in each case so that the reader may or may not find herself there.
Excellent as always and perfect for giving and/or donating.
The pages are filled with colorful illustrations which add even more meaning to this book.
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Rebel Girls via NetGalley. Thank you!

Quizzes for Rebel Girls is a fast read which takes the idea of a magazine survey and puts it in book form. The quizzes ask readers to choose from certain preferred choices like baking a cake or painting a picture and then it helps to narrow down interests that the reader may like to pursue. Each of the choices also includes a mention of a famous or influential woman who works or worked in that field.

Personally, I would like to have seen some more interactive features, maybe links to bios or examples of works by the people mentioned for readers who may have wanted to explore deeper than just a momentary mention in a quiz.

All told, this is a fast, easy-to-follow book for YA and mid-grade readers that could prove helpful to someone being inspired to pursue a career path.
