It is enjoyable enough, it just felt a bit slow at the beginning and rushed at the end.
While the premise was great, there were a few niggles that prevented me from enjoying the book as much as I thought I would: I didn't fully understand the side-plot with Rupert's tea, and there are facets (like Kwasi's aunties, the link to the yellow house or the character of Jericho) that just felt underdeveloped/ could have been explored more.
Saying all that, Kwasi is a charming character and you definitely root for him to succeed.
What a phenomenal book. I loved every second. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a review.
